Very Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best are all the options you get when it comes to filters. I can very specifically tailor most personas I am looking for just by selecting the filters I want. The DB is very simple, and I love that I can save searches before exporting any data. That way, when I am ready to export, all I have to do is refresh my list, and I am ready to go. I also like for the most part; the quality seems to be very high for these contacts. I also like that we can export unlimited amounts of contacts (maybe it's based on the license we have, I'm not sure) without paying for credits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that many contacts do not have email addresses. I always have to remove these contacts because, for our purposes, we need to have their email address. It can be frustrating having a list of 1,000 where 200 of those emails are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg is helping us grow our database. We rely on them for a lot of intelligence of accounts for example who our competitor's customers are. There are some really great features that DiscoverOrg has like OppAlerts that I would like to explore more in the future as well. This is helping us narrow down what we are looking for so that we aren't dumping tons of contacts into our database that we may or may not need. We want the right people and DiscoverOrg is helping us find them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think now that Zoom Info and DiscoverOrg will be one, there will be a lot more information and the quality will improve vastly. I think they are headed in the right direction, we enjoy using them.

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg has been the best tool I've used to find the proper org chart and contact information for my prospects. They have done a phenominal job setting up the user interface in order to make the funcaitonality as compatible to user experience as possible. I do enjoy the responsiveness to request for information. DiscoverOrg has done a great job partnering and integrating with other key tools (Salesforce, salesloft, outreach, etc.) inorder to make the experiences of contacting prospects seamless and light lift.
What do you dislike about the product?
DiscoverOrg occasionally, has wrong information, however they normally fix it quickly upon request. They have a team of people who are dedicated to support your efforts and work diligently on your behalf to figure out who the key stakeholders are in an organziationan as well as find the proper contact information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The number one place to use for prospecting. When I have to reach out to proespects I often have a tough time understanding organziational strucutre, who the key players are and who reports to who within large Is organizaitons. DiscoverOrg has done a great job inorder to structrue all of this to help the user know who is in charge, what their best form of contact inofmriaton is and how what time they should be contacted. This is a great tool for solving these business challenges and I would hightly recommened to anyone else in a account devleopment role who is looking to do the same.

High Quality but Expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Very solid database of direct contact information, direct dials and emails. Scoops is a great feature to suggest new companies and prospects. The technographic details they have on companies is a great feature to find people with specific tech installed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Company org charts could be more built out. Cost is also high for a small number of users and increasing due to the acquisitions DiscoverOrg has made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using DiscoverOrg to generate new business. Using the database to find the right contacts and their place in the org, and using scoops to target more precisely.

Market leader in this space, one of the best choices to make. Support is very good. Definitely recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the up to date contact information, the section where it tells you what software the company uses and the selling triggers.
If i plan an marketing campaign that is based on targeted accounts that use specific technologies, I can easily find them, export a list of contacts and use an excel sheet to upload into SFDC.
If an Account Executive wants a good overview of an account, I can generat a company report that makes it easy for them to understand the innerworking and heiarchy.
The solution is feature rich and I learn something new about it on a weekly basis. Always being updated with new features.

The tiered system. There are accounts i would like to reach that are out of scope for my licence. Some times accounts are actually big enough in real time but they take a while to update on your end so I miss the bus for a deal.

We solve enterprise business software solution challenges that help companies work more efficiently. Opentext provides a single data repository for documents that integrates beautifully into today top ERP, HR, Finserv and CRM software.

There honestly isn't a better lead gen solution that i have discovered yet.
It's got all the bells and whistles.

What do you like best about the product?
Search functions are intuitive, effective and fairly flexible. The best of Sales Navigator combined with live, verified data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some data that is verified by automated means is out of date and those people have moved onto other companies. This can cause awkward first calls and conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to see what departments and functions a contact fulfills helps us to determine if we are targeting the right department with prospecting efforts. This equals to more conversations and conversions over time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that they cover a good amount of contacts within a company, and have at least 80% accurate information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use some work. This is 2019. cache problems, and integrations don't always work the best.

Use the LinkedIn links provided by Discover.org to improve the accuracy of your data and reduce bounce rates.
Great prospecting and account intelligence too
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to discover contacts, organize and filter them and upload into CRM. Scoops are valuable as well for understanding key initiatives.

Occasional problems with the rendering of text description in the navigation tabs.

Discover.org has made me more productive in my prospecting activity and had allowed me to prospect with more precision.

Great source for information about prospects and lead generation
What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg provides a two fold approach to my organization. It allows us to garner prospects in the industries that we are most focused on as well as provides us with a constant and updated source to keep our organization's database up to date. It's an excellent tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it does not allow us to select persons who have applied for GDPR opt-out and I hope that this feature is available in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest issue has been being able to garner new contacts across a wide spectrum. As such, this tool has allowed us to really begin a continued discovery opportunity and to work with others in a large scale to make our efforts easier to accomplish and more palatable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you have solid compliance configurations in place especially in regards to additional verification. At present, your DPO needs to really review the lists and make sure that they make sense.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not 100% complete. I correct or add a lot of contacts regularly.

Business critical sales intelligence tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love their customer service and how quickly they respond to requests. If you need something they move quickly to get it done for you! On top of that they have great research and scoops that allow you to provide targeted outreach to the right contacts at the right time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitely some data whitespace on the sheer number of contacts side, but I don’t really see Discover as the tool for finding all the right contacts, they are more for providing high quality info on a few contacts and a bigger picture of the business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating to elimate account whitespace in our CRM. Trusting them as a single source of truth for data on company size, HQ, and industry. Using the contacts they have to speed up outreach and relying on their scoops and list functionalities to prospect smarter.
