DiscoverOrg - a phenomenal tool for contact sourcing and information on current tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I am able to find email addresses, phone #'s and org charts for companies to map out who to target and have info at hand to reach them. I also like uploading leads from D'Org into SFDC and discovering more information around the tech deployed at prospect companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any dislikes at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of not knowing who to reach out to, how to reach out to them and what competition we're going up against. Also at a glance determining if the account is large enough to be worked by our Enterprise or SMB inside sales teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely take a look if you are prospecting whatsoever! An amazing product.
Great company research and lead database product!
What do you like best about the product?
Unmatched accuracy, quality and depth of filtering, speed of the product and generally snappy UI is superb for our SDR and sales team to stay up to date and build lists to run outreach programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coverage of the database can be better. Other vendors have more companies compared to DiscoverOrg
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get in touch with the right people at the right companies to develop a solid enterprise pipeline of prospects.
More than just a Lead Source
What do you like best about the product?
I've used several lead sources in my career and DiscoverOrg is by far the most accurate and robust source I've encountered. However, it is more than just a lead source as it provides invaluable Sales Intelligence, including technologies used, budgets and a very helpful automated email that keeps me up to date on updates at my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data, especially the technologies used, can't be easily exported for further analysis. While users can get around this by knowing exactly what they are looking for, it would be great to be able to do custom pivots to better understand what technologies my clients have to better cross-sell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better understanding my client base and better targeting potential clients. DO has helped us uncover opportunities we previously did not know of at current clients.
Excellent Sales Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Great resource for finding the right POC and the extended team. Rarely get a bounce. Terrific customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice if they had cell numbers for the contacts. Kind of pricey as a line item, but well worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding contact information for decision makers, understanding organization hierarchy.
Enterprise Account Executive
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to search on company history, financial status and current project activity. Along with being able to search on specific technologies that are being used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Perhaps there are times when I come across “locked content” for a particular contact that would be valuable to have - but generally speaking I understand what the limitations are in place for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I simply use it as a screening mechanism for determining proper contact information and valid technologies.

Its an Amazing tool gives you complete information about the company and scoops of the company it saves a lot of time and Recommend it to everybody

What do you like best about the product?
The scoops are one of my favourite features. The ability to easily see what organizations are focused on is truly valuable information for sales and lead generation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the deal predict only because it seems to not really differentiate between the deals very accurately. It rates most deals 4 or 5 stars and it doesn't really help you hone in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using DiscoverOrg to continue to build our sales pipeline. DiscoverOrg simplifies the most important company information in one easy to use platform which speeds up our process.

Extremely easy salesforce integration and accurate information.

Connections to Salesforce account can sometimes be inaccurate but that may be due to our system

New contacts, up to date contacts
DiscoverOrg helps me find leads and navigate through an org chart
What do you like best about the product?
I love the real time triggers that I can set up for myself on a daily/weekly basis based on a ton of helpful criteria - Company, keywords, technologies, etc. It helps me understand what's going on with those organizations and gives me the knowledge to craft my message to their exact needs. I also love the fact that I can click a button and import the records directly into my CRM right from the company's org chart. Speaking of org chart, If I can't get through to a systems admin - I can reach out to their boss. I now have that knowledge at my finger tips. It's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The MS Dynamics integration pushes records into the system, but the options/settings are minimal. It doesn't even put DiscoverOrg as the lead source on the record it imports. That would really be my only gripe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main problem it solves is understanding how the IT department is organized at a company. If I talk to a handful of people at an organization and get their titles and look them up on LinkedIn, that only gives me part of the picture. Once I see the department in an org chart, I now know that (for example) someone that was speaking highly of our product is below someone that had some reservations about our product. Now I know that I need to focus on the person that had reservations about the product, rather than get excited about the person who's not a decision maker.
DiscoverOrg gives me what I need to succeed at my job.
What do you like best about the product?
The data is of course the primary benefit. But I am also pleased by the level of support. Whenever I report an issue, I receive an informed reply.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the data is outdated or inaccurate. It's also difficult at the enterprise level to distinguish what is corporate vs what is subsidiary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm an out bound sales rep, so it basically allows me to do my job effectively. I've had jobs without it, and with it, my performance is simply on a different level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have this kind of intelligence for your outbound reps, you're falling behind your competition.
