Extremely easy salesforce integration and accurate information.

Connections to Salesforce account can sometimes be inaccurate but that may be due to our system

DiscoverOrg helps me find leads and navigate through an org chart
What do you like best about the product?
I love the real time triggers that I can set up for myself on a daily/weekly basis based on a ton of helpful criteria - Company, keywords, technologies, etc. It helps me understand what's going on with those organizations and gives me the knowledge to craft my message to their exact needs. I also love the fact that I can click a button and import the records directly into my CRM right from the company's org chart. Speaking of org chart, If I can't get through to a systems admin - I can reach out to their boss. I now have that knowledge at my finger tips. It's great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The MS Dynamics integration pushes records into the system, but the options/settings are minimal. It doesn't even put DiscoverOrg as the lead source on the record it imports. That would really be my only gripe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main problem it solves is understanding how the IT department is organized at a company. If I talk to a handful of people at an organization and get their titles and look them up on LinkedIn, that only gives me part of the picture. Once I see the department in an org chart, I now know that (for example) someone that was speaking highly of our product is below someone that had some reservations about our product. Now I know that I need to focus on the person that had reservations about the product, rather than get excited about the person who's not a decision maker.
DiscoverOrg gives me what I need to succeed at my job.
What do you like best about the product?
The data is of course the primary benefit. But I am also pleased by the level of support. Whenever I report an issue, I receive an informed reply.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the data is outdated or inaccurate. It's also difficult at the enterprise level to distinguish what is corporate vs what is subsidiary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm an out bound sales rep, so it basically allows me to do my job effectively. I've had jobs without it, and with it, my performance is simply on a different level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have this kind of intelligence for your outbound reps, you're falling behind your competition.
Great way to find contact info
What do you like best about the product?
It's such a breeze to pop open the DiscoverOrg Chrome extension and find recommended contacts. Providing a direct phone number and simply the formatting for a company's email directory helps save prospecting time. Much more reliable than other "email finder" extensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see data on more companies available - luckily you are able to request research on these organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound lead prospecting made easy. Limiting the amount of email bounces for personalized emails.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. Being in sales, its a must to have something simple and provide value at the same time, which I have found in Discover. I can easily save my searches based on my area of coverage and track the scoops that are available with the daily emails. I also love the way they package things, previously using ZoomInfo, it was complicated to use based on their "credits" I love that I dont't feel restricted in my searches.

Sometimes the data is not always 100% accurate but which solution is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting prospect info/data! It provides a ton of value for a startup who is creating a company from the ground up!

It may be expensive compared to other tools however it is worth it

The search features are outstanding, from accounts search, Scoop, My Alerts and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly, I would be making up an entry on dislikes of Discoverorg. Great site and very informative details to help you penetrate most organizations.

What do you like best about the product?
The depth of mining capability available through use of DiscoverOrg's direct link inside of Salesforce is incredibly helpful in my daily work generating leads for Boardroom Events. The time efficiency afforded makes my work at least 4 times more productive than otherwise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although quite rare, there are occasions when the email address for a particular corporate executive is either missing or incorrect. However, on these rare occasions, DiscoverOrg has a great protocol in place to request the missing information or that the incorrect email address be corrected and 90+% of the time, this solves the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
finding precisely the person in mid market companies i am seeking with amazing speed and accuracy

If you're seeking accounts or leads (by title/responsibility), try it out. you'll be amazed at how easy it becomes to mine leads.
DiscoverOrg... Great source for quality contacts
What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg has a great system that is easy to work with, and the quality of the available contact is high. Integrations are available with most of the major CRM systems and searches and exports are relatively straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
What do I dislike about DiscoverOrg... it is rather costly. But that would be the only thing - the technology is strong, and the DiscoverOrg people I work with are extremely helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using DiscoverOrg as a part of my company's content marketing strategy. We are reaching more interested prospects that we have in the past using other providers.

DiscoverOrg has a complex structure for how they break out their contact databases. I would recommend you understand that structure and make sure you are including all of the contacts you want to reach when you build your subscription.

I love having access to all of the contacts in an organization and well as initiatives happening now.

Sometimes I find contacts are old and the prospects no longer work for the company.
