A Salesperson's Dream Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Instead of spending hours scouring the internet for prospects' names and numbers, you get all their info on one platform

The information is pulled from your email signature with or without the third party's knowledge

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of companies and contacts are phenomenal. Accuracy is best there is. This tool is absolutely critical in my sales role.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing so far that I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of time researching companies to go after as well as the right contacts, plus their contact information, has been drastically reduced. Everything is presented in a quick clear format within DiscoverOrg. I am able to book more meetings in less time because of it.
Best Market Research and Business Generation Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The advanced search functionality that allows me to quickly and easily qualify and disqualify prospects and targeted companies based on certain criteria is a tremendous time saver for me. Being able to surgically select criteria important to me and my company, allows me and my sales team to focus our efforts to generate the most revenue in the short amount of time.
Additionally, the ability to set or select multiple criteria at the same time such as geographical location(s), revenue levels, employee count, technologies, industry or industry subset, etc, etc. allows our marketing and business development teams to identify additional opportunities or prospects that typically would not meet our target profile company.

What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion, the website does not have the most current contact information or technology systems used by the client on file. This requires my colleagues and I to have to call around the company and do some additional leg work to obtain the information we need.
Also, the system does not like it when you use the back arrow bottom when conducting a search or drilling down into a company's org chart. When you do this, rather than take to back to the previous or last screen you just saw, it returns you to the original search screen for that company or organization so you have to begin your "drill down" into the org chart all over again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing us to quickly discern which companies to target and with whom to speak at those companies. Also, it has allowed us to learn in-advance when companies, with whom we do not have an established relationship, are undertaking a strategic initiative where our services and capabilities may be an excellent match and by having that advanced notice we are better prepared to engage that client at an optimal time which greatly increases our chances of winning the work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth the money invested to get you into the c-level contacts you want to meet as well as get you in front of the senior managers and directors that will make warm introductions for you to the c-suite.
Also, if you are uncertain if you are targeting the right market or right type companies, this software will help you eliminate that uncertainty and provide you with a wealth of knowledge and information that would take you months to collect and analyze on your own.

Good experience with DiscoverOrg
What do you like best about the product?
Advanced searching for building large industry lists. Helpful categorizing of title and position.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to search for different business units within companies. For example, Sony has over 30 different business units but you don't have all them nor contacts for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding sales leads and contacts. Ability to get emails and contact info is main key.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn about all the tools within advanced searching and getting weekly updates on new contacts. They just partnered with Rain so they have even more contacts now.
ZoomInfo has Direct Lines!
What do you like best about the product?
The absolute best thing about ZoomInfo is that they have direct lines for all the prospects I'm trying to get ahold of. I have used other similar products but for me, this is the number one priority, along with accurate email addresses. Some other products offer lots of other things like organizational charts, etc. but I want something that is fast and accurate!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it says they have the phone number for a prospect and then they only have the phone number to the headquarters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am selling more! The more prospects I can get in touch with, the more pipeline I can build!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do not be swayed. ZoomInfo is a simple product but it is fast and accurate - Don't pay more for other products that say that can offer more!

The inaccuracies I come across time to time, also the title selection/department selection isn't as intuitive as I'd like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data Accuracy in our CRM.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
When it comes down to finding specific employees in certain departments and titles, it becomes slightly confusing. This could be better served by keeping the titles at C-Level, VP, Director, Manager, Lead/Senior, etc. With choices for specific titles such as CFO, CHRO, it gets sort of confusing. Having it just go what department then what level title might serve (me, at least) better.
Easy access to vital business information
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can really drill down on your searches. Specifically by job title and technologies used. I also find the Triggers very useful. What used to take us hours on LinkedIn with regards to company and lead research is not down to minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really think of anything except that the company sizes always seem to be lower than reality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeted inside sales activities and email marketing. DiscoverOrg allows us to insure that those activities are reaching the right types of people. Saving a lot of time with regards to researching prospect companies and employees.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use. The interface allows me to easily find contacts/company's with an easy search bar at the top of every screen. I can build my own lists and follow companies/employees that have compelling changes that help me book meetings with accurate data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how in some cases when the employees aren't top tiered I am limited to company number not direct line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting to the decision makers quickly and knowing the hierarchy of employees they manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its easy to find contact info, especially, contact info of colleagues that work closely to the point of contact. You can also do a data refresh to update existing contacts information.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some erroneous info in there. I've found contact info for people who have been separated from the company for well over a year. I know nothing is perfect, but, the point is to have relevant info!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching the appropriate contact or department within an organization, insight as to who is looking into certain technologies, and pertinent info relating to the contact (ie. job function, responsibilities, etc.).

Its a great tool to help any sales department to be successful with prospecting efforts.
MY GO-TO SOLUTION FOR SDR/BDR
What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use UI, seamless integration with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data can be inaccurate. This can be easily resolved by contacting the account owner. Takes a little time, but the support is impeccable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg makes everyone on the Sales team accountable for contributing to the pipeline. DiscoverOrg enables the user (SDR, SE or AE) to find net new leads, account segmentation by territory, supplement lead information, update SFDC with one click, build reports for information in DO (data initiatives, employee changes, etc) and investigate new initiatives at various companies. This significantly reduces lead sourcing time and makes the entire team contribute.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to use your CSM. Many companies do not invest in their post-sales teams. DisoverOrg's entire Customer facing team are rockstars. They are all willing to help, regardless of their role or responsibility.
