Zoom Info is the best. Bar none.
What do you like best about the product?
As a salesperson, time is money. This is irrefutable.
Zoom info is incredibly accurate, and very far-reaching. It covers every industry and gets you contact data immediately. It saves hours of work a week - and weeks of time every year previously spent poring over useless websites with old data.
If you're not using it, you're wasting time. And if you're wasting time as a salesperson - you're not living up to your earning potential. Buy it. Or convince your boss to buy it for you. Now.

What do you dislike about the product?
Every once in a great while I can't get a direct line or email address. That is the exception, however, rather than the rule. If this is the case, I move on to the next prospect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the decision maker. Right away. This is a 100% time-saving play.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. If you've tried anything else, you'll have a more informed opinion and will be even more likely to purchase Zoom - because it really is that much better.
If you've never tried another lead-gen/access-gain resource, it'll be very hard to switch to anything else after this, because again, it really is that much better.

Dependable: We've used all the others and ZI is the biggest, most accurate DB we could ask for
What do you like best about the product?
The size and quality of data, with access to Direct #'s and email addresses is unparalleled. We're a volume heavy business, and getting phone #'s is important. We also use Data.com, RainKing, and DiscoverOrg, but none had the amount of dependable data that ZoomInfo has

Export maximums can be tricky at points.

Our rep is really great in actively checking in and updating us on new product features

Nothing :) if we ever have a complaint, our customer service rep is very quick to reply and fix the situation

Our inside sales team has had a great experience at checking and updating our own database with all the contacts we've been able to import and use.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo provides a wealth of personal and firmographic data, and an intuitive self-service tool for pinpointing target audience. In addition, their team is friendly and helpful with fulfilling more complex requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any issues with the team or the search tool or the data we received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business problems were twofold: we needed to fill gaps in our existing contact database, and we needed a reliable resource for acquiring new contacts as-needed for specific efforts. We have enjoyed success on both fronts thanks to ZoomInfo, substantially improving the quality of our existing contacts as well as expanding our reach with confidence.
ZoomInfo is the core of our marketing strategy. We have sold hundreds of thousands of $$$$ with it.
What do you like best about the product?
Complete, comprehensive, accurate data. Easily accessed and laser-focussed lists. Great connection with salesforce.com. New connection with LinkedIn is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some many things I like about this and use everyday, I don't find many things, if any, to dislike. I suppose I could dream of free information, but that wouldn't give them the capital to stay on the continuous improvement path that is so exciting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting, prospecting, prospecting. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue because of the leads and prospects we get from ZoomInfo. This is the core of our marketing plan. I have recommended this to over 2000 people numerous times. Many have adopted ZoomInfo as part of their core marketing toolset.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
figure out how many new sales it would take to give you a solid return on your investment in an annual license for ZoomInfo and decide if you believe you could increase your sales to give you a solid ROI with the info from ZoomIno.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used other search engines in the past, I have to say that Zoominfo is the best one. It has all necessary information that I would need to do my job. It's very accurate tool and a big part of day. I would definitley recommend other colleagues of mine to use zoominfo!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that instead of having updated information from 6 Months, it should be more like 3 Months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realized that after using zoominfo, I am getting better contacts and more conversations than I have before.
Best quality data and excellent customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with ZoomInfo for approximately 5 years. Zoominfo integrates seamlessly with SalesForce and allows our sales team to quickly validate or find protect information on demand. We also use ZoomInfo for our prospecting database. While we have tested several other data providers we have yet to find anyone that can deliver data that is as current, accurate and cost effective as ZoomInfo. Additionally the customer service at ZoomInfo has always been top notch and their willingness to work with us on pricing, contract terms, etc. has been exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to pinpoint any dislikes because anything I might mention they still do better than any of their competitors. In my mind if you are the best at what you do then it is not fair to point out flaws unless they are significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building our marketing campaign lists would be very difficult without access to ZoomInfo. The information is provided in a very usuable format and they have developed a customized matrix for us to choose our next list pull which they update regularly. The data appending feature is very useful for our sales team and the inline Salesforce.com integration makes it incredibly easy to use. It is also useful for our one-off applications that we encounter when responding to the needs of our rapid/disaster response division.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have yet to find a competitor that can offer anywhere near the quality of data, let alone price or simple contract terms.
Great Quality Data at Reasonable Price
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of data is impressive, to say the last. In fact, I FOUND Zoominfo while doing a google search on myself. I had only been at my new job for a period of days, and my zoominfo profile was 100% accurate, despite the short time frame available for the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the quantity of data that we are pulling, it becomes fairly cumbersome to determine which contacts have already been prospected - and which ones have not. We would prefer an icon, or a colorization of a contact to show their level of 'having-been-prospected", so to speak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to effectively remove the gatekeeper from the communication path. With more and more companies trying to filter out 'cold calls', they often filter out important calls that are beneficial to the company's bottom line. With direct dial access, we are sure to be speaking with the correct contact a large portion of the time.
Zoominfo is Great
What do you like best about the product?
This service is excellent at providing contact information for individuals who are a bit more rare. Additionally, for the majority of the time they also are able to provide full contact information which is always a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Within the main search parameters, contacts you may already have show continue to show up in search results. It would be beneficial if this could be eliminated.

Finally, a product that exceeds my expectations
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoomingo for over a year. I can find in a manner of minutes the number and emails for my marketing department prospects. And of course - these numbers and emails actually correct, which by the end of the day, is the only thing that matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. The pricing is fair and their customer service is outstanding.

I'm the head of SEO of an online marketing agency. We're mostly looking for b2b clients, and I find Zoominfo as a great way to achieve our sales prospects and improve our relevant leads.
