Great Tool. Increases team productivity and Effectiveness.
What do you like best about the product?
Real Time Triggers, Org Charts, Direct Contact information and accuracy of information. My team uses the DiscoverOrg data to prospect into accounts and to better understand and cross-sell / up-sell our existing clients. The data is nearly perfect - phone lines work, org charts are accurate - triggers are identifying real projects. Our account manager is top notch and the service we get from DiscoverOrg is amazing. We were with a competitor before them and are incredibly happy we made the switch.
Integration with Salesforce is head and shoulders above anything on the market and allows us to keep contacts constantly in-sync with DiscoverOrg's researchers.
We use the researchers a lot too - asking for more data on companies or to have a group profiled out - these turn around in less than 24 hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a lot I dislike about the service before April I would have said more training would be nice, but they have just added a full training platform that engages users both in the platform and through guided sessions that our team has been very happy with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying new opportunities at existing accounts, prospecting into net new logos, having constantly updated contact information.

get it, not having it is stifling your ability to grow.
Best in Class Product
What do you like best about the product?
Just recently launched Zoom to our network of over 500 franchise owners. The offices find that the tool is easy to you and loves the integration with LinkedIn. My experience working with them has been stellar. Working with the Zoom team is one of my favorite parts of the day because our owners are so happy with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing now that they enhanced the admin functionality. I love being able to set up offices in literally minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate data. There is so much bad data out there and Zoom has a higher percentage of accurate information.

What do you like best about the product?
The information is extremely accurate, with direct phone lines and email addresses included. I haven't spoken to a gatekeeper since we got our ZoomInfo subscription, which as a salesperson is amazing. The search criteria is extremely detailed and helps me target specific industries, geographic locations, and various members of any department I specify. Narrowing down my vertical markets has become a simple process.
On the account management side, Alex and Eric have always been thorough and responsive to our issues, even after we'd already paid them. I certainly appreciate their eagerness to ensure we have a great experience with ZoomInfo.

What do you dislike about the product?
Salesforce lead integration is easy, but I want to be able to mass export without creating a list first. I'd like to just take a page from search results, hit "select all" or multiple results at a time, and export into Salesforce like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main targets are within the HR department. Zoominfo allows me to specify seniority level, type of HR function (ie benefits & compensation, diversity, generalist, etc), and size and industry of the company for which they work. We are focused on finding the right fit for our product and to be as efficient as possible in doing so. ZoomInfo ensures there is no wasted effort on our end.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a demo to test for yourself. Alex and team were not hesitant in doing so because the product sells itself.
Zoom Info is the best. Bar none.

As a salesperson, time is money. This is irrefutable.

Every once in a great while I can't get a direct line or email address. That is the exception, however, rather than the rule. If this is the case, I move on to the next prospect.

I find the decision maker. Right away. This is a 100% time-saving play.

Try it. If you've tried anything else, you'll have a more informed opinion and will be even more likely to purchase Zoom - because it really is that much better.
If you've never tried another lead-gen/access-gain resource, it'll be very hard to switch to anything else after this, because again, it really is that much better.

Dependable: We've used all the others and ZI is the biggest, most accurate DB we could ask for

The size and quality of data, with access to Direct #'s and email addresses is unparalleled. We're a volume heavy business, and getting phone #'s is important. We also use Data.com, RainKing, and DiscoverOrg, but none had the amount of dependable data that ZoomInfo has

Export maximums can be tricky at points.

Our rep is really great in actively checking in and updating us on new product features

Nothing :) if we ever have a complaint, our customer service rep is very quick to reply and fix the situation

Our inside sales team has had a great experience at checking and updating our own database with all the contacts we've been able to import and use.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo provides a wealth of personal and firmographic data, and an intuitive self-service tool for pinpointing target audience. In addition, their team is friendly and helpful with fulfilling more complex requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any issues with the team or the search tool or the data we received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business problems were twofold: we needed to fill gaps in our existing contact database, and we needed a reliable resource for acquiring new contacts as-needed for specific efforts. We have enjoyed success on both fronts thanks to ZoomInfo, substantially improving the quality of our existing contacts as well as expanding our reach with confidence.
ZoomInfo is the core of our marketing strategy. We have sold hundreds of thousands of $$$$ with it.
What do you like best about the product?
Complete, comprehensive, accurate data. Easily accessed and laser-focussed lists. Great connection with salesforce.com. New connection with LinkedIn is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some many things I like about this and use everyday, I don't find many things, if any, to dislike. I suppose I could dream of free information, but that wouldn't give them the capital to stay on the continuous improvement path that is so exciting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prospecting, prospecting, prospecting. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue because of the leads and prospects we get from ZoomInfo. This is the core of our marketing plan. I have recommended this to over 2000 people numerous times. Many have adopted ZoomInfo as part of their core marketing toolset.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
figure out how many new sales it would take to give you a solid return on your investment in an annual license for ZoomInfo and decide if you believe you could increase your sales to give you a solid ROI with the info from ZoomIno.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used other search engines in the past, I have to say that Zoominfo is the best one. It has all necessary information that I would need to do my job. It's very accurate tool and a big part of day. I would definitley recommend other colleagues of mine to use zoominfo!

I wish that instead of having updated information from 6 Months, it should be more like 3 Months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realized that after using zoominfo, I am getting better contacts and more conversations than I have before.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with ZoomInfo for approximately 5 years. Zoominfo integrates seamlessly with SalesForce and allows our sales team to quickly validate or find protect information on demand. We also use ZoomInfo for our prospecting database. While we have tested several other data providers we have yet to find anyone that can deliver data that is as current, accurate and cost effective as ZoomInfo. Additionally the customer service at ZoomInfo has always been top notch and their willingness to work with us on pricing, contract terms, etc. has been exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to pinpoint any dislikes because anything I might mention they still do better than any of their competitors. In my mind if you are the best at what you do then it is not fair to point out flaws unless they are significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building our marketing campaign lists would be very difficult without access to ZoomInfo. The information is provided in a very usuable format and they have developed a customized matrix for us to choose our next list pull which they update regularly. The data appending feature is very useful for our sales team and the inline Salesforce.com integration makes it incredibly easy to use. It is also useful for our one-off applications that we encounter when responding to the needs of our rapid/disaster response division.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have yet to find a competitor that can offer anywhere near the quality of data, let alone price or simple contract terms.
