One of the best Data Tools for Sales & Marketing teams

What do you like best about the product?
Dynamic search (ability to filter based on the parameters I choose).
Access to 1000s of prospects in my target market.
Phone numbers and LinkedIn addresses are usually accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Pricing - I know this is not a fair thing not to like (however, as a startup the pricing can get prohibitive.

2) The Technology Stack isn't very accurate. For example, I can search for a list of all companies using a particular software - however, in our experience (multiple campaigns) that is not accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing and Sales Outreach.
List building is an important process for any email marketing or sales outreach. However, it is a time consuming process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before you invest - plan exactly what you would be using it for - Marketing Outreach, ABM,etc.

What do you like best about the product?
their easy to use UI and depth of data allows me to very quickly and easily create a contact list that is targeted by industry/job role/ job level
What do you dislike about the product?
While they update their data regularly the lag time for larger campaigns can create an email issue. With that said data latency is a problem for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase Sales Funnel.

What do you like best about the product?
I think the data they provide is fantastic. It's extremely helpful when prospecting and looking for the correct contact information. The org charts are extremely helpful as well. Support is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit dated and could use some revamping.

Prospecting and finding correct and reliable contact information, company information and org charts.

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is by far the best business intelligence platform available in the market today. The up to date organizational charts for each department is key to mapping your strategy to reach the targets that make or influence the decision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform is built for enterprise and mid market not strong on small business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DiscoverOrg provides the solid foundation for your Account based Marketing strategy. Quickly identifing target accounts and the personas that you need to get to. Without it you waste time and money

What do you like best about the product?
Discover has helped my career in so many ways. This tool makes prospecting easier, and even makes you feel a little confident when reaching out to cold prospects. The tool helps with campaigns and creates a focus to build a pipeline
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I dislike, this tool is amazing and worth every penny. The ROI and motivation this tool brings is outstanding.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it seamlessly integrates into Salesforce. It is really easy to download leads into campaigns in Salesforce and instantly start marketing to them. I am also really enjoying seeing what technology our prospects are using. This has been extremely useful in how we are framing our messaging to these prospects. One feature that has been instrumental to our sales team is the org chart. The org chart has been a huge help in helping to identify who to target and how to target them. The summary reports are also really helpful as well as it has all of the information we need in a digestable format.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been finding that employee addresses are not always accurate. This has been a bit of an issue in our direct mail campaigns. I have also been finding that phone numbers are missing too with some of the contacts. This at times proves to be frustrating, especially when I am trying to set call campaigns with my inside sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving our top of funnel lead generation goals with DiscoverOrg. We were having an issue in generating new leads, DiscoverOrg has helped us with this problem. We now have access to contacts at all of our top prospect companies. Additionally, we have also seen an uptick in meetings set using DiscoverOrg. We are now able to target the right people at the right time resulting in more meetings and more revenue in our sales pipeline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend DiscoverOrg to any marketing professional. The only thing to be cautious of is permission based marketing. If using a marketing automation platform, you'll want to check to make sure you can blast emails to leads who have not opted in.

What do you like best about the product?
Like the Scoops functionality the best. It lets you know what projects a company is involved in, who was recently hired and what positions are they looking to fill.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not always have direct phone numbers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cold calling. Scoops functionality helps with projects companies are working on, who they are hiring, who has been hired. This information helps tremendously when you are targeting a company to sell software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure you ask for training during roll out and not just a one hour session. They are weak in this area i.e. training. Without it your adoption may be low and you will not be taking full advantage of the product.

The amount of data that is available for each company and contacts, the scoops have not been very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited number of companies in specific domains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting qualified leads. Benefits is not having to think about the number of leads we can download.

Get a sample set of your industry.

What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty easy to navigate and love the scoops. Having recent links to the press releases is helpful as well. I send links over in emails sometimes and reference the scoop info. on there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the contact info is not up to date even though they say it is checked every 2 months. I've had multiple instances of numbers be attached to different contact with the same name within the same org.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead gen. Ability to fine pick the contacts you upload and immediately get something out to them, call , email ect.
