Great tool for insights into your potential customers

What do you like best about the product?
I love the new OppAlerts! It gives me information on what my potential customers are working on and who to contact about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that when I import a contact into SFDC it automatically has an "Engaged" status
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job is lead generation so it solves almost all of my problems. It makes it quick to find out who you should talking to and a lot of current and background information for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What do you like best about the product?
color coding and organization of contacts. I also like the comprehensive contact information available
What do you dislike about the product?
The opp alerts tend to be delayed. The Personnel changes take a long time to reflect and i often have to crosscheck employment with LinkedIn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps SDRs and inside sales teams find the appropriate prospects to target. love utilizing the DOrg team to help research contacts that would otherwise be too time consuming for me to do myself

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to see company info at a quick glance without having to look them up
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little buggy sometimes. Was not working at all yesterday

It's great to look at an org chart and have those positions verified when we call into a company

What do you like best about the product?
Accuracy is good. data that are provided is good but it is quite difficult to find the date that we are looking for. the result that the discoverorg shows are accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the data are not available. the data that we search are maximum shows as no result found. hence this makes a major issue whenever we are in a search.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to extend sales region and helps to find new accounts

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can quickly target the right stakeholder with the right message. Identify projects that might be of interest and who would be interested. Once I have identified an opportunity, this research helps me navigate and plan a strategy to get into the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
That we don't have access to everything you offer. That some of the information is dated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeting the right companies and contacts within those companies with our value prop. Ability to slice and dice the data and get to the most qualified prospects. All of the data about the company in one place helps save time and research.

For the most part it provides the information I am looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have access to all contacts or accounts that I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: contact information and details. Benefit: easy to import into SFDC.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to get a large enough license to view all contact information.

Great for Enterprise, Not for SMB

What do you like best about the product?
The filter categories are very helpful for developing a targeted list, whether for companies or employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI seems overly complex, as if it's a legacy design from 1997 that has only ever received cosmetic updates. It's difficult to use if you are not familiar with the tool.

While Discoverorg is a good tool for enterprise entities, it is terrible for SMB's or even distributed enterprises. A lot of the data is out of date, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to develop target list of accounts to pursue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use this tool to target decision-makers at Enterprise-level companies.

integration with outlook is cumbersome and data does not flow from contacts and activity
