What do you like best about the product?
As a previous data analyst, I thoroughly enjoy how many different ways you are able to slice and dice through the database (account, title, size, scoops, industry etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect which they could improve upon is missing accounts and/or leads
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a sales rep, my job is to ultimately generate pipeline. I need the right titles (infosec) and right industries (financial services, manufacturing, media/entertainment, etc)

With that said, I am able to prospect via industry-based and title-based

DiscoverOrg is a Time Saver

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, provides many options for streamlining my searches, and saves my searches. I like that I get an email when my saved search has new or additional information for me to review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need to do a search on a particular company that is not in DiscoverOrg. But I can request that they research said company. Also, I don't like that my dataset doesn't include all C-suite employees from a particular company. Each dataset is fairly expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a research team in my company that does what DIscoverOrg does, only it's a very manual process. DiscoverOrg enables my team to focus on more relevant information to help my sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's expensive, but the information is great. It's mostly up=to-date, tons of relevant information about companies and people. It's a great resource tool.

What do you like best about the product?
The Saved Searches and the notifications sent about "scoops" at members of these saved searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
the inability to set technologies to only those of interest to my sales efforts. If I could default the tech view, that would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discover Org is fundamental to our outbound sales efforts and it is our primary prospecting tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The customer data in Discover is highly accurate and up to date.

Not all contacts are available
Sometimes easier and faster to use LinkedIn

What do you like best about the product?
- Being able to prospect new customers.
- OppAlerts is great for potential deals. I like that they go straight to my inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Can't link large lists to SFDC. Have to export to an Excel first.
- Some of the info is dated and incorrect.
- Negotiating with DiscoverOrg for more features is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Looking to increase prospecting new contacts and accounts.
- We've got new deals from Advanced Searching and OppAlerts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- A service like DiscoverOrg is required for a growing tech company. Needed to grow your prospecting and meeting output.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has most public company information and I can look up any line of business and find the corresponding email addresses and phone number for the contacts I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that a lot of the information is now blocked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation, prospecting, updating account and contact information.

I like the overall indepth look at organizations and their IT profiles

I dislike the amount of contacts for some of the organizations.

Learning who to reach out to for business opportunities .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's the best tool out there for cold-calling in a sales role. It's very organized and has a lot of great information to help Sales people make connections for business opportunities. Highly recommend.

Can be outdated employees sometimes that have either retired or are no longer there.

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is very easy to use, user friendly and quick. I like that you can create specified opportunity alerts tailored to your industry to find new prospects. Also, customer services are very quick to respond to any queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much a dislike. There have been some technical issues with a couple opportunity alerts I have subscribed to but they have been easily fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using DiscoverOrg triggers, we can find new organisations that seek our solutions and can have quick and easy access to their employee data.
