Helpfulness of DiscoverOrg!
What do you like best about the product?
What I love best about DiscoverOrg is the easy accessibility to the information provided. I use DiscoverOrg to help with my research into the company as well as the personnel. One of my favorite aspects is the DiscoverOrg plugin which I use every day, whether it's for work or for my own curiosity of learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there isn't much I dislike about DiscoverOrg, one thing that I wish could be more insightful would be the ability to share more information such as a breakdown of the individuals working within a company, but I completely understand how that isn't accessible to the free user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an SDR Intern, my responsibility is building accounts and researching business to gain an upper hand in reaching out to them. I use DiscoverOrg to do just that. I'm solving the problems being clueless as DiscoverOrg provides me the ability to be well informed of a businesses market, personnel, recent scoops, and technology used.

What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service is outstanding. I use thier service every day to get in touch with key persons at bleeding edge companies, and a couple of months ago they sent me a Hydro Flask water bottle by surprise!
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more direct lines, and not always quick to update when someone has newly arrived or recently left a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The lag time between identifying a key person and obtaining the necessary information to get your message in front of them.

The user interface is a bit undesirable. I feel it could be a bit more aesthetic.

I am finding contact information for people here where I cannot find it elsewhere such as LinkedIn.

That they add both mobile phones and direct lines when available

Companies with smaller employee counts rarely have their account and contact info built out in DiscoverOrg

Ability to find contact information for the sales team when it's possible or available in DiscoverOrg

A great tool for Enterprise Sales teams that go after bigger accounts
Good if you're going after companies with greater then 4k employees

Something I should use more, you can contact discoverorg directly to have them source leads and specific triggers from companies you are looking into.
What do you dislike about the product?
No contact or bad contact information for companies under 4k employees. Not good for SMB teams better for the enterprise space.

Find contact information and org charts for companies I'm selling into.

Contact information for breaking into accounts and cold calling/emailing

What do you like best about the product?
Clean UI to easily navigate companies and employees with necessary company insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited number of contacts accessible, or out of date information at times. Conflicting data stating employees left company while they are still employed at company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better prospecting to generate selling activity. New mobile numbers help get in contact with otherwise inaccessible leads.
The tool is very useful to find contacts within large and small organizations in order to porspect.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how the search tool was able to dig down into regions which helped decide the territory for which I covered. From there it was easy to highlight the specific roles, titles, and teams for which I needed to get into.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times there would be only a company headquarter number listed which is a pain. Also, some subsidiary companies are difficult to navigate through and find out where they are located and under which team as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my prospecting problems and the ease of adding leads into salesforce is unlike any other tool. The benefit of building lead lists that are accurate and concise is remarkable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would use this product if you are trying to break in to net new accounts. It is a very easy and simple way to target an account and at least get some numbers to direct into the right teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can pull contact information from a persons LinkedIn page as a direct lead, but then if you are on a company page, you can see a whole list of all a companies contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the consistency of accuracy. Many contacts have very accurate information, but every now and then there is some information that can get you in trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom info allows me to seamlessly prospect into entire companies and get all of the information I need to break in. They also allow me to get to the lead level and get personal information.

I really love the product and am pushing my team to get it.

What do you like best about the product?
In my current company, both the commercial and enterprise team leverages DiscoverOrg. I would say is a great tool for enterprise accounts and SDRs are able to find accurate emails and direct dials information for their leads. However, the commercial team hasn't been as successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I mentioned it is not the best tool for small-medium size companies there are almost no leads or contact information for our commercial accounts. The chrome extension isn't as advanced as other tools like ZoomInfo or LeadIQ so the workflow isn't as ideal. DiscoverOrg recently did release a new feature to capture cell phone information and personal email addresses for prospects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales team is leveraging DiscoverOrg to acquire contact information for key buyer personas within target organizations. The SDRs are leveraging the tool to automatically add prospects into our CRM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When considering DiscoverOrg I'd consider think about your Ideal Custome Profile, if it's enterprise companies at least 5K employees and above than DiscoverOrg would be a great tool for contact information. The other thing you'd want to consider and evaluate how DIscoverOrg would fit in with your existing tool stack and workflow.
