Great tool, needs UX work
What do you like best about the product?
I like the sheer quantity of contacts, direct PN, and account insights. Love that 2.0 now has the ability to import as a contact NOT lead
What do you dislike about the product?
Reach out gets messed up when you try to import someone who has a title. ie) Peter Parker, CFA You can go through to ZoomInfo Proper, but it takes up time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building out robust list of contacts for sales. In business development having direct dials is invaluable.
Better data than most, more questionable search
What do you like best about the product?
For those in zoominfo, contact information seems to be more complete and accurate than others. Integration with Salesforce makes it easy to find those people
What do you dislike about the product?
Search functionality is lack luster, and for some reason sometimes search doesnt work via sfdc but will find the contact if I go to the zoominfo site directly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
getting contact information for people I find while prospecting in linkedin
Good range, but titles could use improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
Direct phone numbers that often other tools don't have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Titles aren't specific, info is often outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business development, reaching out to net new prospects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good as a supplement to another tool (perhaps DiscoverOrg), but standalone it would be very time consuming to mass prospect.
Good for direct dials
What do you like best about the product?
They had direct dials for our target audience
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the job titles were outdated. This will be true of any database, but the rate was high than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Higher connect rate, leads to better sales efficiency
I have found Zoom a very valuable tool for business development
What do you like best about the product?
The overall accuracy of the data is generally impressive, and superior to other databases i’ve tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not certain about the new navigation. i’ve stayed with the old version as i find it more user friendly - perhaps only because i don’t have time to learn the new one. perhaps a short tutorial would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
getting accurate contact information using all kinds of filters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
direct export to NetSuite and Salesforce
Provides insight, but is not always the most accurate
What do you like best about the product?
Org Charts were beneficial. Financials were also insightful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Information, especially number of employees was not always accurate. Had a lot of problems with either changing or keeping inaccurate employee counts on an extremely inconsistent basis.
RainKing at least has the option for you to request that they research - DiscoverOrg doesn't offer to research and either willingly corrects employee counts to the wrong numbers or refuses to correct them to reflect correct numbers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides names, contact information, organizational charts, and business insights for businesses. Also allows you to search based on various criteria like geography, industry, and company size. Can save search criteria and set updates via email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take employee counts with a grain of salt and so not expect DiscoverOrg customer support to provide a quick fix.
Good tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Imports into salesforce very easily. Like the links to LI
What do you dislike about the product?
Data can be incorrect. Several times emails have bounced.

Using Salesloft in Sales
What do you like best about the product?
I love the info extractor feature the most on the extension!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when the info isn't up to date to their current company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster contact with prospects due to phone and email info given, vs. manual searching or guessing.
Integrations with other software adds value
What do you like best about the product?
The web version of ZoomInfo has an intuitive interface making it very easy to navigate and start searching. I like that the system starts searching when you pause your input and doesn't require you to "submit" with each new piece of information that is entered. Sounds pretty basic, but it makes searches go faster. The integration with Salesforce makes it easy to update records real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when I put in known information about a name and ZoomInfo returns no matches. But when I take away some of the fields, the person is found. Often showing the exact information I had included. That can be frustrating. While the site is mobile responsive, having a standalone app for search would be great. The popovers on the mobile experience can interfere with accessing certain data. I haven't used the Build feature in about a year, but I did find it difficult to get very granular with the results. That may have evolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use ZoomInfo across the marketing and sales process. Whether we are tracking down contact details or trying to figure out revenue sizing, ZoomInfo is a great resource. The integration with Salesforce means we can track down these details faster - driving efficiencies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Any tool like this is only as good as the database behind it. Make sure that ZoomInfo can help you by being very specific in the types of personas you need for your business and find out the relevant size they have in the database.
