Used to find contact information for individuals, and information about businesses

What do you like best about the product?
It has a large database of contacts on a global level, which I've found helpful. It's the most efficient way to find contact information for both company and individuals, based on company, title, name, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is definitely not always accurate. I use it as a quick option, but always know I need to call/email to double check that the information is accurate. I'd say it's accurate about 50-60% of the time, but because it's so quick to check, it makes sense as a starting point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The challenge of getting in touch with very busy individuals around the world. Business moves much faster with tools like Zoom and employees are far more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand up front that it's not always going to be accurate, but if it does have the information you need, it's an easy and quick process

What do you like best about the product?
The accuracy of information helps with prospecting and casting wide net for finding right person. Great salesforce integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the contacts will have outdated job titles or are no longer with company. Those become a waste of credits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking for IT decision-makers and those who influence marketing software choices.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that my target market and contacts all sit in the DiscoverOrg platform. It's a one stop shop for all of my IT Data needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the new platform. The old one was way easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate and timely data is crucial to our business. Knowing when new CIO's arrive at a company and knowing when they depart is a really nice feature in the triggers you provide.

Amazing Sales Intelligence Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Discoverorg in two different organizations and the platform is fantastic. The quality of data is impeccable and has made our prospecting efforts all the more effective.

The IT Dataset provides great intelligence about people but also technology used. I built an entire SDR outbound effort with the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. I wish they had more data from more companies, but they are always adding more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a repeatable outbound sales development process that utilizes the best data.

We achieved this and regularly generated new business with Discoverorg.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Run don't walk to this platform. The data is impeccable and it will make your sales development teams better. Period!

Absolutely love DiscoverOrg

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has all kinds of filters you can query on and drill down on companies and key contacts in those companies. I like how you can set up triggers to so that you receive automatic NEW notifications of changes and announcements in your email inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at this time. It's still new to me so so far, I'm liking the user interface just fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just getting the most newest information on prospects and companies. The benefits are that DiscoverOrg seems to have the MOST information on MOST of the companies and I find them to be accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it. Use it. It's well worth the investment and less expensive than most others yet more powerful.

Extremely effective prospecting tool

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is great for a few reasons. First, and most obviously, it's a great place to find direct contact information for the prospects you need, and it's also a relatively good resource for org charts to figure out the best strategy for an account. All features aside, the best part of working with DiscoverOrg is their willingness and promptness in finding the information you need that they don't have yet. Prospect's phone number invalid? They'll hook you up with the right one in no time. Looking for a specific team at an account, but they're not in the database yet? They'll get right on it for you. These guys have a great product and great people working for them
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to scratch my head for a second here, but there is only one feature that hasn't worked out for me. They have (sort of) built in a connector to various SDR tools, but the functionality is limited. The idea is to be able to add prospects directly to a campaign in another tool, from DiscoverOrg, but for our particular instance, only the first 30 or so sequences (of literally thousands) show up in the drop down menu with no way to search, filter or continuously scroll, and if prospects are imported without being added to a campaign they can be difficult to find again. This should be fixed soon though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With DiscoverOrg, we're finding ways to reach out to the necessary contacts to begin and continue conversations with target accounts. Prospecting is historically a very tedious task, but this tool vastly simplifies it to the point of actually being enjoyable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool and I wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of it. If you do, be sure to keep up with research requests and ask for the information they don't already have available.

DiscoverOrg, a Culture of Success

What do you like best about the product?
Good companies are all about the customers they support. GREAT companies however, understand that it all begins with having a rock-solid, sales-driven culture. I have been a loyal subscriber across six years and three positions. DiscoverOrg was a requirement in my executive business plans.

Why, you ask? Well, its equally the quality of the product combined with the quality of their organization - they simply have some of the most dedicated, knowledgeable, helpful, and customer-centric people I have ever met. It is so rare to say that have dealt with a vendor or any company really, where I have not a single negative experience.

The professionalism at all levels, speaks to a culture that is supportive and empowering. This translates to everyone, from leadership, through sales, support, and research caring about the role that the play in each other mutual success, and that of the company, and its clients. This has been a constant from day one, despite their incredible growth.

I chose to focus on the people first, because clearly, they do as well!

The product that DiscoverOrg puts out is second to none. Period, I have tried all of the major vendors of data (and we all know who they are), not one compares - even if looking only at their data accuracy. But if you are investing in DiscoverOrg only for the data, you most likely not realizing maximum ROI.

Once you learn how to fully leverage all of the reporting components: the org charts, trigger, OppAlerts, and so on, you will realize maximize your return. Best of all, you`ll be contacting prospects who have pain points, needs, and budget. You`ll see greatly reduced opt-out rates, and your time will be much better focused. Best of all, you`ll close more business and shorten sales cycles!

What do you dislike about the product?
ZoomInfo make it intentionally challenging to copy/paste. It kills efficiency. Also, the application seems to experience more latency these days than in years past. The search feature is very finicky and the best way to search seems to be with the company`s URL, but it has to be limited to www.XXX.com and no more. The geographic filtering is also not very accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Over the years I have perfected best practices that have allowed me to use DiscoverOrg`s insight to open doors with targeted accounts. Many are among the nation`s largest and most difficult to penetrate, Including several Fortune 100 companies. I could have never had the level of success that I have, if I was just using a contact 411-type provider, even if they were 100% accurate, 100% of the time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand the value that each of their offerings represent. Learn which features are most important to your offerings, and then learn how to use them to your greatest advantage. knowing these answers is the secret sauce.

What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensive data, organizational charts, and contact information are very useful.
Exports and CRM interface is simple and unlimited - bulk actions are appreciated to support marketing activities.
Since the data is researched and updated frequently, its reassuring when distributing communication that we are speaking to the intended audience.
Notifications of personnel and project changes provide timely updates which help with contact and content accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
DiscoverOrg is easy to like! User friendly, accurate data and current updates. Initially, the contacts in our targeted marketplace were limited but the company continues to expand research to provide the appropriate contacts and organizational information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accurate contacts minimize errors in our marketing campaigns and prospecting. When I have submitted requests for additional contacts or industries the response has been timely and accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend DiscoverOrg if you are looking for a resource that provides 'real-time' data and support. Training tools are easily accessible and my DiscoverOrg point of contact stays in touch to introduce new products and expanded solutions. Their responsiveness is awesome - I have requested additional company or contact information and received feedback within 24-48 hours. DiscoverOrg has been a great add to increase our prospecting and marketing reach!

What do you like best about the product?
DiscoverOrg is EASY to use and provides insider scoops into prospects and current clients. There are no longer "cold" calls with this tool.

My favorite tool is the "vacancies" where you can see recently left employees.

Our team loves having daily alerts emailed to them as well. It's awesome having a dedicated representative to answer questions any time of day. Harter is always so responsive and friendly. We love working with him.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say there is anything that we "don't" like about this tool.
We are an IT Staffing company, so occasionally, we will run into data sets not being available because DiscoverOrg only has that marketing dataset for that company. They do, however, allow you to submit a request for that company to get more information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This eliminated the "cold" call process for us all together. Before this, we used LinkedIn, combined with other tools, but this puts all of your data in one place which is very convenient.
