Great Company
What do you like best about the product?
I've used other search engines in the past, I have to say that Zoominfo is the best one. It has all necessary information that I would need to do my job. It's very accurate tool and a big part of day. I would definitley recommend other colleagues of mine to use zoominfo!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that instead of having updated information from 6 Months, it should be more like 3 Months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realized that after using zoominfo, I am getting better contacts and more conversations than I have before.

Best quality data and excellent customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with ZoomInfo for approximately 5 years. Zoominfo integrates seamlessly with SalesForce and allows our sales team to quickly validate or find protect information on demand. We also use ZoomInfo for our prospecting database. While we have tested several other data providers we have yet to find anyone that can deliver data that is as current, accurate and cost effective as ZoomInfo. Additionally the customer service at ZoomInfo has always been top notch and their willingness to work with us on pricing, contract terms, etc. has been exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to pinpoint any dislikes because anything I might mention they still do better than any of their competitors. In my mind if you are the best at what you do then it is not fair to point out flaws unless they are significant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building our marketing campaign lists would be very difficult without access to ZoomInfo. The information is provided in a very usuable format and they have developed a customized matrix for us to choose our next list pull which they update regularly. The data appending feature is very useful for our sales team and the inline Salesforce.com integration makes it incredibly easy to use. It is also useful for our one-off applications that we encounter when responding to the needs of our rapid/disaster response division.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have yet to find a competitor that can offer anywhere near the quality of data, let alone price or simple contract terms.
Great Quality Data at Reasonable Price
What do you like best about the product?
The quality of data is impressive, to say the last. In fact, I FOUND Zoominfo while doing a google search on myself. I had only been at my new job for a period of days, and my zoominfo profile was 100% accurate, despite the short time frame available for the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
With the quantity of data that we are pulling, it becomes fairly cumbersome to determine which contacts have already been prospected - and which ones have not. We would prefer an icon, or a colorization of a contact to show their level of 'having-been-prospected", so to speak.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to effectively remove the gatekeeper from the communication path. With more and more companies trying to filter out 'cold calls', they often filter out important calls that are beneficial to the company's bottom line. With direct dial access, we are sure to be speaking with the correct contact a large portion of the time.
Zoominfo is Great
What do you like best about the product?
This service is excellent at providing contact information for individuals who are a bit more rare. Additionally, for the majority of the time they also are able to provide full contact information which is always a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Within the main search parameters, contacts you may already have show continue to show up in search results. It would be beneficial if this could be eliminated.

Zoominfo has been instrumental in helping with the following:

Finally, a product that exceeds my expectations
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoomingo for over a year. I can find in a manner of minutes the number and emails for my marketing department prospects. And of course - these numbers and emails actually correct, which by the end of the day, is the only thing that matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of. The pricing is fair and their customer service is outstanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm the head of SEO of an online marketing agency. We're mostly looking for b2b clients, and I find Zoominfo as a great way to achieve our sales prospects and improve our relevant leads.
Expensive, but impressed by Customer Service /Management. Valuable tool.

If you are targeting Enterprise IT Leaders, Discover.org is fairly useful.

The price is high, but there is a lot of information.

What do you like best about the product?
As a software industry veteran I've only recently started leveraging DiscoverOrg. Not only is it a great resource but the company goes out of it's way to help people like myself optimize their use of DiscoverOrg. Shout out to BC at DO!

I find the product to be very intuitive. Lot's of on-line help to accelerate time to value.

What do you like best about the product?
I have found that DiscoverOrg has a comprehensive database of IT Org charts throughout the US. I like that it includes direct dials to contacts which has greatly aided my sales role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime there is some inaccurate contact details in DiscoverOrg but it is rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to build entire Org charts simply buy entering a client name. I am averaging several meetings a week utilizing the DiscoverOrg database.

This is a great comprehensive database of entire IT ORG charts. If your selling into IT, you need this product.
Best and most helpful tool I've used in my sales career.
What do you like best about the product?
They have a great database of the clientele I'm looking to contact and the solution is very easy to use. I didn't need any formal training and probably watched 5 minutes worth of the training video they sent me. My rep at DiscoverOrg is very friendly, fast and knowledgeable of the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish they had a mobile & tablet application but I'm sure that is in the works. I have no complaints at this moment as customer service is response. My sales rep is responsive. Shoot, even the CEO is responsive to my emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of not being able to find the correct contact at organizations. Generally I would spend hours on LinkedIn reviewing profiles and still not be able to get an email but with DiscoverOrg it's quick and easy and I get the emails. I've been able to reach many high level contacts easily and quickly. If a new prospect comes to mind there's a 98% chance that it's already in DiscoverOrg. If it's not, it only takes them a few days to create an account with contact information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend using DiscoverOrg. It's much more effective and accurate then buying lists and importing them into SalesForce and then combing through to see which are valid.
How could you not love this tool!
What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, it eliminates the cold calling process. Even if the information is outdated (which I have yet to come across), it still sparks a conversation with someone at a higher level than an office manager. I like everything about the tool, especially its compatibility with Salesforce and how intuitive it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far absolutely nothing. The tool, customer service and price have all been on par!

I'm solving the problem of wasting too much time on various cyber information outlets, when one does the trick. It is huge in the cold calling process as well. Typically a cold call will take anywhere from 1-5 calls before you are in front of who you need to be. With ZoomInfo, my experience thus far is less than 2 each time, if not the first call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the trial period. This tool will have a huge impact in time and territory management. If the name of your game is work smart not hard, then you would be foolish not to try ZoomInfo.
