Integration with professional networks has optimized contact sourcing and outreach strategies

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for ZoomInfo is to help me with prospecting into accounts and getting contact information. It also enables me to quickly import contacts into SalesLoft.

What is most valuable?

The best features that ZoomInfo offers include the integration with LinkedIn which is one of the best features because that means when I'm prospecting and researching, I can easily find the right contacts. I also love the feature that enables me to see who's more likely to respond via email or via call. It's not always 100% accurate but it helps me level up and do the right method of outreach to the right person.

Additionally, I love the integration features that I can easily integrate with the software that I need such as SalesLoft, so I can quickly import the contacts.

ZoomInfo positively impacts my organization because it helps us do prospecting which in turn helps us get meetings, opportunities and revenue.

What needs improvement?

I think ZoomInfo can be improved because their number accuracy is still an issue. It's not specific to ZoomInfo; it's the same across the board with competitors. I can call up numbers and they can be incorrect, or sometimes the emails might not work, so even though it's great software, there's still errors with the contact information they're providing.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using ZoomInfo for about six months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

ZoomInfo is super stable in my experience. It's very reliable and easy to use.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

ZoomInfo's scalability is great because you can use it with as many different users as you want and everyone has the same functionality, so it's fully scalable.

How are customer service and support?

I don't know how ZoomInfo's customer support is, as I've never needed to call them.

I didn't use a previous solution before.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup with ZoomInfo is super easy because you just log in with the account and then you're good to go. It's a very straightforward mechanism.

What was our ROI?

I've seen a return on investment with ZoomInfo because it definitely saves me hours of work when I'm prospecting in terms of the ability to quickly get the data and import it where I need.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing ZoomInfo, we evaluated other options as an organization. We looked at things such as Lusha. However, I'm not the decision maker, so this wasn't a decision that I made. That was done by senior management.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using ZoomInfo is to make sure that whatever software you're onboarding has the integrations that you need, the usability and also the most accurate data.

On a scale of 1-10, I rate ZoomInfo an 8 out of 10.

Easy to use, more trusted contacts than other options

What do you like best about the product?
- HubSpot integration and notification to ensure you don't duplicate ingestion of new contacts;
- Insights around who's visiting your websites;
- Generally reliable contact information, including more stable than other "free" options like Apollo
- Contact search using lists of companies makes targeting very straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes you ingest contacts and later find there's no attributable email address, but I've wasted credits on that
- Inability to see a more full list of entities visiting our website
- Targeting tools are not useful for our SaaS vertical due to lack of related search terms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Populates our CRM with contact information of B2B sales leads for outreach. Identifying organizations looking at our website.

Great to see an improved product

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo Sales with Copilot gives our sales directors the information they need for their targeted accounts so they reach out at the right time to the right people. I'm very impressed with how useful it is, as opposed to other AI products whose marketing far exceeds their capabilities. ZoomInfo has broadened its scope, making it an easier product to use for both admins and sales. I was especially impressed with their onboarding process - it was thorough and well-communicated. I also get consistently great support from our Account Manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've only run into a few issues with its Salesforce integration, and it's only because I'd like it to do something that it doesn't currently do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding the right target accounts is always a challenge, and ZoomInfo has solid industry and contact data to help us find the right accounts. Once identified for each sales director, CoPilot tells them every day which of their target accounts is showing intent, helping them decide when it's time to reach out and what's the best message.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo allows me to easily find information on prospects that I need to reach out to. It's super easy to use and it's made it' s way into my daily routine when scrubbing through accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be blunt, it's quite amazing as is. I don't think any changes are needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping me bridge the gap of information for prospects I am outreaching to.

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the way I can leverage zoom info throughout my sales cycles from the start to the end. I really like their LinkedIn integration and love the AI search feature to help with researching accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for it's AI search function to be able to read our Salesforce/gong data so it could pull all the information for me in one place. Sometimes it's number aren't as accurate as other tools, but in general its data sourcing is very good and has improved a lot in the last few years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom info helps me find the data I need to contact prospects for outbound sales and it supports me in conducting AI account research

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo offered a ton of features while reducing our monthly charges and increasing our user license count.
What do you dislike about the product?
The credit system can be painful to manage across multiple departments with different needs and the licensing charges were pretty expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivers personas with contact info as well as buyer intent for similar products and services. It also links to Salesforce, so we know if the opportunity may have already been established prior.

What do you like best about the product?
The database is robust, and the filtering is great. It's incredibly easy to use. I have found it tremendously valuable to get contact information as well as social media links to their LinkedIn profiles at times.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been my experience that at times the contact information has been dated. I have tested and viewed my former company and at times its not 100%. It's just important to know that no system is ever 100%, also why you look into committees vs. just an individual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our larger accounts may have multiple stakeholders. Its really helpful to get a potential "buying committee" list of names, titles and contact info.

What do you like best about the product?
ZoomInfo has an expansive capability list. We have evaluate several other contact information databases and none have shown the quality of data that we have seen with ZoomInfo.

The platform also has a large list of integrations, which allows us to place it's functionality where we need it in our workflows, rather than work around it.

As an administrator, I often focus on ease of intetgration and the power of a platform. ZoomInfo's integration can be slightly complicated, but once set, the functionality is very strong and customizable, so you can adjust it as you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is fairly large which can cause issues in different areas. Some of the platforms that they have aquired can become difficult to use as they integrate them into their tech stack.

Their customer support can be difficult to to work with. They are slow to respond and take a while to get to the bottom of the issue you are reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ZoomInfo allows us to keep our database up to date with good data. Our sales users import contact information as they research different accounts and the process is fairly seemless for them.

Becuase ZoomInfo is such a power tool with many options, I would recommend that teams evaluating it consider their specific workflows and processes. This platform likely has features that can solved their marketing and sales intelligence shortcomings, but teams need to know their full plan rather than expect implementation to solve their problems out the gate.

We did recently implement Enrich Essentials which allows us to keep certain parts of our platform clean and up to date automatically.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Zoominfo has been an incredibly positive experience for us. It helps us get information on a vast variety of prospects and leads with updated and accurate contact details. With the help of advanced filtering features, we target the hottest accounts and personas. Zoominfo is easy to integrate with Salesforce, Hubspot and Salesloft (a few of the sales and marketing tools we use) which makes workflows easy. We are currently exploring WebSights and Intent features and see promising results.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high and many of the additional features come with extra cost. We are interested to explore more features but due to budget constraints, we have been delaying the use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoominfo Sales is helping us clean our CRM database and meeting our KPIs. We are able to overwrite and update information by enriching existing leads in the system allowing us to target accurate prospects. With it's intent data we are able to timely outreach to the prospects who are in the buying cycle.
It has also helped us align with our sales team to set the expectations and outreach with effective messaging. Data enrichment also helps us build a workflow that's effective.
