Effective management capabilities and Seamless integration, high overall security protection
What do you like best about the product?
Quick response from the MTR team and effective follow-up on the backend. seamlessly to shut down the threats. Sophos give full control of the workstations remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, there is no experience disliking the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Powershell attack. MTR team has been authorized to perform the threat removal option. They are very effective and quick.

Great Product and service experience
What do you like best about the product?
Proactive response, Threat notifications
What do you dislike about the product?
None as of now. I would update as come across it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Suspicious detections were notified proactively

The support team is great and account management is also very good. Deployment is straightforward
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could be a little more in-depth although I expect this to be addressed over the coming months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MTR provides a comprehensive overview of the threats facing our customers. The benefit to us is that we can offer our customers great protection at an attractive price point.
Peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
Peace of mind knowing that your environment is being watched, 24/7 - 365 by a dedicated security team. Very help to enhance the capabilities of your in-house IT Department.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I don't consider it a downside, I understand that price is a potential deterrent. Overall it's a great service and I'm very happy with everything the Sophos MTR team offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Managed Threat response helps us further strengthen our environment. With security, more layers of defense is often better and this is a great addition to help us secure what matters most.
Great EDR with few minor drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
The SOC team is very helpful. They respond to incidents and send out alerts quickly. I feel well protected. With the recent addition of detection rules release notes, I think it is getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports and insights is something they can work on. The weekly reports were pretty generic when we signed up for the service a year ago but are getting better now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving behavior and threat monitoring on all of our Windows endpoints, be it workstations or servers. With the ability to respond and react on our behalf, I can sleep easier knowing that even at 4am security analysts are watching our environment.
Sophos easy threat response implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos was very easy to implement and manage for a small organization such as ours. With a remote work force deploying the Sophos was managed completely by remote using the central console.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little work to understand all the configuration choices but our Sophos implementation partner was helpful in getting us through the setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required an endpoint management solution as part of the business insurance application. After reviewing several alternatives in the market place (including a different recommendation from our carrier) we found Sophos the best for a company our size.
Sophos MTR
What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MTR is comprehensive and proactive, unlike many other solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had to make some changes on some of our legacy servers, but that was minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes a lot of the footwork out of managing intrusive threats and assuring updates. Actually get to work with a real person.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos managed threat response is good to configure, implement and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some lengthy nad complex scripts are needed to get all alerts in one application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our environment to get the alerts related to threats and take action quickly.
A Great Product that will give you time back in your busy IT day.

The fact that things are remediated before they become an issue and saves me time in my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The competitor's "Uninstaller" did not work as anticipated.

Early detection and remediation to prevent a major problem.
Threat Hunters 24/7 - It's the Next Level of Security You Need
What do you like best about the product?
Our endpoints are monitored 24/7 with service capabilities not possible with existing resources. Also, the Sophos MTR Team is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is high, but this is the new cost of security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's the equivalent of adding highly trained security experts to my staff which frees up the time of existing staff for other priorities.
