Very Helpful & Advanced CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I think one of my favorites aspects are the courses and certfications. It is nice how thurough and developed the trainings are for learning how to use the application. Also the Phenom Chrome Extension tool is something I utilize daily for work so I appreciate that and how easy it is to upload a resume and it auto-fills the candidate's profile. It has also integrated with our other software well because of the extension tool and also being connected to our career site.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I have struggled with is the always-on campaigns can't be used for dynamic lists, which is what I would want to use them for. For new matches in dynamic lists to get that always-on message, but I will say I am newer to using the application so maybe this is something I lack understanding on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When folks apply it automatically allows them to enter who referred them, also the referrals are so easy to see since they get a purple little triangle next to their name, and all you have to do is hover over it to see who referred them. Our referral program is something we want to streamline and make easier for pulling for compensation and reporting, which is built into Phenom analytics.

The platform itself is user friendly, I feel as though I am competent and built fluency fast.
What do you like best about the product?
the most helpful is the dashboard - having a one stop shop for all tools is amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that i hope continues to change is the number of features - being able to use the tool via the app is amazing though and i hope it grows.

Canddiate communication, candidate information storage, comprehensive profiles
Phenom-enally fantastic platform for recruiters!
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about the Phenom is the ability to text candidates. Most people use that as a primary source of communication, so it's good to have that when an email isn't being responded to. I also appreciate the ability to make Alight-branded email templates to send to my candidates, which adds a great aesthetic touch to an otherwise very plain and generic email. Phenom is very user-friendly, which is helpful for those who are not tech-savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't a lot of things that I dislike about the platform. A lot of things I would change are more nit-picky items that would be helpful to me personally. For example, I wish the submitted screenings would automatically filter from first submitted to most recent. I also wish the order of the questions you're reviewing as a recruiter would be in the order that the screening questionnaire was created; helps with the flow of the review. Other than that, no other suggestions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is automating a lot of tasks that were otherwise manual (i.e., sending automated emails when a candidate reaches a certain stage). I also appreciate having the option to do a digital screening complete with knockout questions in lieu of a phone screen.

There are work around in creating lists that I've needed to navigate. Nothing too difficult, so no real complaints

Powerful Tool - Complex Setup
What do you like best about the product?
It's an easy-to-use program. The two-way integration is a game changer. The AI features are extremely useful and save a ton of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until you set up the filters to sort out Rejeceted, and Withdrawn applications the data looks overwhelming. It wasn't until I got comfortable with the filters that I could make sense of the information in front of me.
You should consider adding more filters or spotlights that have those rejected or withdrawn candidates removed. Also we have 15 "Rejected" Statuses, and more withdrawn, clicking each one individually on the exclude filter is hard and time-consuming, there should be a way to exclude all rejected statuses at once.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the AI Feature alot. In fact I've learned that I can program the AI to creat the emails, that read and resume and draft an email to the hiring managers as to why this candidate is a good fit. I haven't had success inviting leads to apply. I've sent over 1000 emails through Phenom and not one has resulted in someone being interested or hired.
Good platform for organizing talent
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to create custom workflows and be able to easily find where the candidate is in the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some technical issues with connecting to our ATS and ensuring that the applicant process is streamlined and consistent across all of our platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of being unsure where applicants are in the hiring process and being able to have potential leads as well as established applicants all in the same place.

We have implemented phenom as part of our talent acquisition modernization efforts. We are still in the process of turning on the various functionality offered.
