Phenom AI Streamlines Daily Tasks Effortlessly

What do you like best about the product?
Phenom AI makes my job so much easier. I utilize it on a daily basis especially when contacting leads or declining candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feels very basic at times. The emails it generates are very bare bones and lack a personal touch. Sometimes the generation takes several minutes, so it would almost be faster to just use Copilot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using the AI I was spending hours on menial tasks like creating emails or drafting messages to send to potential candidates. Now I can generate messages in just a few seconds. Additionally, the AI fit score helps me quickly glance at who might be a good fit, which is helpful when my roles have hundreds of applicants.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most is how it streamlines our candidate engagement and takes a lot of the manual work off our plates. The AI-powered matching helps us surface qualified candidates we might have otherwise missed, and the automated nurturing keeps people engaged without us having to manually follow up on everything. It's made our recruiting process feel more efficient while still keeping things personalized for candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when the AI recommendations need some tweaking because they don't always align perfectly with our specific hiring needs or organizational nuances. I wish the integration process with our other systems had been a bit more straightforward too - there were definitely some bumps along the way getting everything to talk to each other properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our candidate engagement problem - we used to lose really good candidates simply because they'd apply and then we wouldn't hear back from them quickly enough, or they'd get lost in the system. Phenom keeps them engaged automatically and surfaces the best matches for our open roles, which has cut down the time I spend manually screening applications.
It's also helping with our talent pipeline. Instead of starting from scratch every time we have an opening, we're building relationships with candidates over time. For someone in my role managing the configuration and recruitment marketing side, it means I can focus more on strategy and improving the candidate experience rather than getting bogged down in repetitive tasks. Plus, it's given us much better visibility into where candidates are dropping off in the process, so we can actually fix issues instead of just guessing.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Phenom Applied AI offers strong automation and personalization features, one challenge I’ve noticed is that some advanced functionalities require a learning curve for new users. Additionally, integration with certain legacy systems can be complex, which may slow down initial adoption. Improving onboarding resources and simplifying system compatibility would make the experience even better.

Fantastic Experience from Start to Finish

What do you like best about the product?
The overall Phenom ecosystem is very user friendly, It was also very easy to implement, And being able to set a precedence with the recruiting team that we always utilize phenom first when it comes to recruiting for a new opportunity the platform supports that mantra. Were able to log into Phenom every day, utilize the dashboard to understand when we have new leads coming in or see how our campaigns are performing, We're also able to use the X+ feature to generate beautifully written messaging to our candidates where we may only need to make a few tweaks which saves us so much time. We've also really appreciated being able to use the X+ feature To ask questions about a candidate's profile and it provides accurate information as well as asking for suggested interview questions, for example. We have excellent communication with our customer support team, making it easy to continue to learn, grow, and level up within the platform. We utilize Hosted Apply which is definitely a game changer. The ease of integrating this with Workday made such a difference in our recruiters day-to-day tasks - Having two way integration is a huge plus to keep recruiters from flipping back and forth in multiple systems as much as humanly possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any other AI tool, there are always Opportunities for the AI to misunderstand you or for misinterpretation. We have not found our niche in fit scoring and we have found that there is opportunity to improve the AI Discovery where we are not always getting qualified candidates (understanding you must train the AI, but it still can use some tweaking).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phenom Applied AI is solving productivity issues and helping us to ensure our top of funnel is strong through creating efficiencies in our recruitment process. Since implementation in 2023 we have successfully certified a large number of recruiters within the team through Phenom Certifications which has allowed us to reach our hiring goals faster and more efficiently, and nurture future talent with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Phenom is always looking to improve their products and what they offer. I've been using Phenom for several years and seeing it constantly improve over time shows they are committed to making it a tool for employers to use year after year. Personally, my favorite products of Phenom are the automations and screening for the CRM. Phenom is also very easy to navigate and intuitive. I'm using Phenom daily for my work and love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features do take some time to get it to learn your language and how you want it to show.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phenom has provided a ton of efficiencies especially for the team I'm on which is high volume recruiting. We are able to save hours on end with automations, screening and interview scheduling. This allows us to focus more on the candidates that need us the most.
