    Hospital & Health Care

Great for delivering on-screen content in mainstream applications.

What do you like best about the product?
The DAI training courses were an excellent start to the WalkMe journey. Their content was really well developed. The application does have a lot of intuitive functionality that can be easily learned quickly by someone with a moderate amount of tech savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of dead ends in the solutions building. The application does not handle storing and manipulating variables well. Training and WalkMe guidance seem to vary substantially depending on who you are assigned for support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have content spread across multiple systems in different formats, some hosted internally, some externally, and some controlled content vs. uncontrolled. WalkMe helps to provide a single place for that content to live without having to move across applications.

WalkMe has a lot of features that help us enable employees in our organization to use an application

What do you like best about the product?
We feel the tool is generally easy to use. There are a lot of features that we find helpful that can be applied to many business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. A lot of issues we experience with building content are behind the scenes are tied to Editor settings that are not within our control.
2. Getting an immediate response from Support Chat rather than open a support ticket. Especially for a quick question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complicated Business Processes enables the end user for self-service. Promoting new initiatives or alerts to employees or specific groups (i.e. segmentation applied).

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe has provided our company with a number of great benefits:

- It has helped improve the user experience by making in-system guidance available for complex processes

- It is a great change management tool, allowing us to not only inform users about system changes but to also show them directly what areas of the system have been updated.

- It has allowed us to automate tasks in the system that users either find repetitive or have trouble with selecting the correct values

-Through the use of segmentation, you can target content to the right audience groups

- The support staff is great! The response time to tickets is usually very quick, and our customer success managers have been great!
What do you dislike about the product?
We find that updates to our core HCM system routinely break our WalkMe solutions and require routine maintenance to keep the content functional.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe helps to provide users with in-system guidance, which helps us by reducing the number of tickets that our operations department receives. It also has reduced efforts around change management by allowing us to communicate about system updates directly in the system rather than needed to conduct training sessions.

WalkMe has been a wonderful tool to help users with our complicated system and business process.

What do you like best about the product?
The upside of WalkMe is providing immediate support to the users. They don't have to leave the application or review documents or training aids. It allows them to do a process once and correctly. Saves a lot of time of rework.
What do you dislike about the product?
It really doesn't have a downside. I use WalkMe in Planisware and sometimes the flexibility of PLW (screens and attributes can be personalized by each user) can cause problems when setting up a walk thru.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many business and technical processes that our users need to implement. WalkMe is provides guidance and in-tool assistance to help the users do their work once and correctly.

  • March 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick to Implement
Browser Plug-in
Organized Folders
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting from WalkMe was terrible, confusing, and not consistent between reports.
Very difficult to use
Customer Support and Account Teams were very hard to work with
The tool was buggy and frustrating to use for long periods of time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used WalkMe for onboarding new users and providing self-service guidance for our complex platform. We also used it to communicate new releases and target certain user groups. However, because of WalkMe's short-comings, we ended our contract with them and now use a different in platform communication tool.

    Information Technology and Services

An essential tool for any large business

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to learn. Top-notch self-guided training program delivered in short chunks with practice opportunities. Fantastic insights dashboard to help make informed decisions. Lots of flexible features to help solve digital adoption problems. Put WalkMe in the right hands to reduce your formal systems training efforts by replacing them with WalkMes. I have been delighted with every Support interaction I've had. WalkMe Support is excellent at keeping things understandable and actionable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost structure (by application, not user). Because it's easy to use, you will be tempted to treat it like a hammer and look for nails. Don't do this. Make sure you are solving the right problems with WalkMe. It seems like the Support feature offered in the editor is slow. Because it resembles a chat window, you expect someone to be there and help you right away. That is not the case...it takes a while to be acknowledged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe helped us immensely with getting people to use critical systems correctly by providing support within the platform at the point of need. Time saved equals cost savings.

WalkMe is great!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the user experience as an admin in the editor building content. I feel empowered to make cool functionality without all the confusing coding. I'm not techy, so working within WalkMe gives me the confidence to create relevant content users need now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support site needs work. Not all the documentation is current, making finding anything relevant to your issues impossible. I would also add that the screen-share with support is nice; however, most of the time the availability for support to screen-share is well out of your working hours. There have been times I've been close to a project deadline and had to take a screen-share appointment at nine at night. That's NOT ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My institution is rapidly adding more systems where users need to jump and use them for their jobs or classes. I have experience with technical writing, training, and job aids, but I discovered that users don't read the documentation created for them. WalkMe allows users to learn as they complete tasks in real-time. Eliminating user guides and utilizing a digital adoption platform is an easier way to maintain and manage system updates, rather than updating documentation that rapidly becomes outdated.
