Easy to use and self-serving

  • August 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe as a training tool is easy to use and self-serving, accessible in different countries and in different languages. Training is easy to build – and has a fast-learning curve both for the builder to develop expertise on the tool, as well as end-users using the tool.

End-users benefit from the opportunity to have user-friendly and intuitive in-platform guidance, from their very first steps through to their day-to-day activities - able to have training (and refreshes) at their own pace and at their point of need.

Digital Adoption has allowed us to reach all the regions with a uniform approach to training. It has permitted us to save FTE time, by providing guidance when needed to the user as it’s always available. It has also helped us navigate change management during this project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that WalkMe still has room to grow and develop, e.g.:
- WalkMe functionality: currently don't have the action option to open TeachMe, as we do with the WalkMe Menu; only 4 items can be added to the WalkMe Menu (SWT, Shuttles, Resources & Onboarding Tasks), and 3 for TeachMe (SWT, Shuttles, Resources) - sometimes it may not cover users' needs.
- limitations on data extraction on Insights or TeachMe dashboard – even the new Report Builder does not give us full autonomy over dimensions and measures to analyse (e.g., extract course completion by regions)
- Allows linear flows only - you can't link a step back to a previous one
- Single static menu for all end users - not flexible to different audiences
- Onboarding completion condition - task completion is based on selected goals, and not SWT completion; means we have to specify things that are clicked
- Smaller Screen Resolution - balloons interfering/covering screen elements and/or being cut off the screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To date, we have been using WalkMe tools as an internal training device to grant users autonomy over their learning as it is self-service help, coupled with traditional training. TeachMe and WalkMe in tandem have been terrific, as they have enabled us to consolidate training by creating courses with specific lessons within, allowing us to structure the online training much like our face-to-face training. This consolidation and structure have been important as they have allowed us to try something new as a business and aid us to move into a more digital world by ensuring software adoption, streamline large-scale, complex, and disruptive transformation by overcoming change, empowering employees, and increasing platform usability. With WalkMe, we have 120+ content set-up ready to walk our users through our new platform, training them how they’re able carry out their day-to-day in the new world.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe allows you to easily create self-serve content for your end-users that is easy to use while giving them an overall better experience by showing them the support on-screen vs. the traditional job aids.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some technical knowledge would be helpful for the WalkMe builder as some elements on the platform may require jQuery or Regex to perform well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefit to analyze how our users are using our tool and platform through WalkMe Insights has been amazing. We can find out what our users need help with or what content we're missing.

Create an exciting customer journey to enhance user experience

  • June 21, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Proactive user support - help in the right place at the right time
2. Simplify workflows
3. Automation of routine
4. Accessible analytics about users
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Installation of the extension for the application to work on the Workday site (it is not always possible to install the WalkMe extension for all users centrally)
2. WalkMe Insights interface needs improvement. Ideally, make it possible to create your custom dashboards based on WalkMe data
3. It is necessary to enable direct API integration of WalkMe Insights data with BI Reporting apps (Power Bi, Qlik Sense etc.)
4. Expand the ability of WalkMe builder within Debug mode. It is necessary to make it possible to view the value of variables and elements of the site at the time of development
5. Improve the methodology for resolving requests by the WalkMe support team. If a meeting is scheduled, participants from the support team must first work out the request and know the content to offer solutions at the meeting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Reducing user frustration during complex business processes
2. Engaging/focusing on important action – increase completion rate
3. Gathering user feedback and describing user behavior – build human-centric processes
4. Preventing entering mistakes – reduce payroll and integration risks

WalkMe - A complete game-changer for rolling out a new ERP

  • June 21, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe was a complete game-changer when it came to training users on a brand new ERP, previously we would produce a thick training manual and visit site-by-site training people at great expense and time. With WalkMe we were able to build simple flows and processes that people could follow without manuals and trainers hanging over their shoulders. WalkMe allowed us to shorten the training process by half and quickly instil confidence because the users knew that WalkMe was there if ever they forgot a process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There weren't any real negatives, the only one perhaps was that for some processes automation and validation happened in the background and the users weren't even aware WalkMe was helping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost and time saving on training, reducing mistakes by validation, and automation speeding up processes.

The best guidance tool in the market

  • June 20, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
The tool makes it easy for users to navigate and perform tasks. It also provides analytics on utilization and has the potential to be used as a continuous improvement tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's opportunities for further customization, but this doesn't affect its functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe makes it easy for us to communicate actions to a broader audience. Beyond communication, it provides instructions and guidance on tasks to be done for a process to be completed.
