Best way to guide users and stop errors

  • February 11, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Rapid release times for solutions
- Wide range possible solutions
- Ease of use for customers and builders
- Saves money by being able to fix issues that would cost hefty development time
What do you dislike about the product?
The tools for a solution can be restrictive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digital adoption - this project is rolling out new software and WalkMe is being used to have internal guideance for users, this has reduced support tickets significantly and those that come through often can be resolved by WalkMe WalkThrus
Data Validation - WalkMe is used to validate data input where system restrictions do not validate (For example First Names that can have numbers)
Error Provention - Stops users doing incorrect process
Cost Saving - With WalkMe Data Validation and Error Provention fixes are quick to release and do not incur any cost, these issues developed by the vendor, but this comes with a hefty pricetag and extended timeline

WalkME Wonderful!

What do you like best about the product?
In the L&D world, speed and content accuracy are at the forefront of this everchanging world we live in, and WalkMe gives us the capability to keep up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the capabilities we need are slow to come to fruition, but we are heard and know prioritization exists in all agile environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is reducing the number of tickets our customers submit and for the associates that are contacted about troubleshooting. It is allowing us to reduce development time as LxDs. And it allows us to be quicker in marketing with the tools and updates needed as a Fintech.

Supportive support team

  • January 23, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
WalkMe can be hard to understand sometimes, however the supportive, considerate and
courteous support team of WalkMe is cherry on top.
What do you dislike about the product?
WalkMe updates and/or upgrades should be prompted when a user login into WalkMe Editor. Notifying and highlighting the information on the site may limit the communication to the users who visit the site only. Rather a developer like me who is concerned with building of WalkMe stuff doesn't get to know the new information until I use the updated function and then find out that something has been modified. Thus, a popup with new updates should be prompted on Editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Ease in communicating new releases, updates and/or upgrades of the application via ShoutOuts and SWTs.

- A workflow failure, repairement, fixes can be effortlessly and expeditiously communicated to users via WalkMe.

- Reduce the headache of comminicating the information to each user.

- Worth the cost but still it should be reduced

A Mixed Bag of Powerful Features and Challenging Implementations - Usage as B2B SaaS

  • January 21, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Configuration Options and Flexibility: WalkMe’s configuration options have proved immensely important in my role role in Qmarkets.net. Being easily customizable and adaptive to various needs, they allow pre-sales and production systems to be well-suited to specific conditions.

Insights and Analytics: I have presumably used insights to understand what features were most and least utilized and used screen recordings to capture the actual users’ behavior. In this regard, I’d like to mention that the WalkMe analytics feature has been useful, although not as crucial as the overall configuration of the programs.

Community Engagement: Active WalkMe community, which has been immensely helpful and has given me some good ideas on how to use the available tools..

API and Creative Potential: your API offers almost limitless opportunities to utilize the program creatively or develop targeted integrated solutions. Difficulty in Implementation: It’s been challenging to fill in and manage all translations, while data privacy and no unified login systems have been even more challenging. We hired a student to constantly update it.
What do you dislike about the product?
GDPR compliance: There is a concern about your GDPR compliance, particularly with some functions you feature, such as screen recordings. It is extremely important to us, for obvious operational reasons.

Limited Support from WalkMe: The lack of substantial support or assistance from WalkMe’s end is a major drawback. The reliance on the community for problem-solving, while beneficial, indicates gaps in the official support structure.

Initial Learning Curve: Given the powerful yet complex nature of the tool, new users might face a steep learning curve, which can be challenging without adequate support from the provider.

User Experience is pretty tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WalkMe addressed the following problems: While our original intentions were linked to the presales utilization of WalkMe, we had been looking for ways to make things easier for our administrators and end users by allowing them better guidance of production systems used at our clients. WalkMe has enabled better user experience in provision in real-time, allowing for clearer and simple navigation and interaction with the complicated system. This far, the combination of pre-recorded issues and walkthrough has made collaborating with the systems simpler and less confusing hence an enhanced user satisfaction.

Training and onboarding efficiency: WalkMe has made the process of training and onboarding new users much simpler. Their interactive guidance on the screen helps in reducing the learning curve which makes it easy for people to have good command of our system.

How this benefits us:

Reduced Support Load: Since we introduced self-help tools and guidance through WalkMe, there has been a noticeable drop in basic support queries. This allows our team to concentrate more on complex issues which enhances overall operational efficiency.

Increased Product Adoption: User journey is now smooth thanks to WalkMe that has also made it more intuitive thus potentially leading to higher adoption rates for our product. We have realized that a system that is easy to navigate encourages deeper and consistent user engagement.

Feedback & Insights: The analytics provided by WalkMe give us important information about how users interact with our system. Such information is crucial because it enables us to keep improving the product so that it can effectively respond to user needs and preferences over time.

Client Satisfaction & Retention: WalkMe’s facilitation of better user experience together with efficient onboarding processes have resulted into high levels of client satisfaction. This rise in satisfaction may equally be behind increased customer retention as well as business growth for us since

Use often: shoutouts and basic launchers

  • December 26, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We do these frequently: Shoutouts for company announcements to employees, Weekly Search report lets us add keywords to existing items so that users can find info, Launchers point users to timely marketing assets, invisible launchers over Save buttons add "guardrails" that the sytem cannot configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things doen't work and I don't know why. It can take days to get on a zoom with Support, to troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Add guardrails for users, when the system cannot be confgured as desired, helps avoid business process errors. Menu and launchers provide access to user support document.

Reduce adoption time as new users are onboarded to a new or existing application.

  • December 14, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We have been utilizing WalkMe to support our Guidewire and Salesforce applications for several years. We have seen great benefits with the Smart WalkThru functionality. Not only for initial onboarding, but as we continue to add new content for functionality that is urtilized on a less frequent basis. Users can access the Smart WalkThru builds from the WalkMe Menu launcher as needed. The WalkMe menu also provide links to support documentation, our support log, and training videos.

The support team values the Insights generated by WalkMe. We monitor the number of Smart WalkThru interactions monthly. Over the last 6 months there were approximately 2800 interactions utilizing 137 different Smart WalkThrus on one application. This accounts for approximately 467 hours of time saved by our users (based on 10 minutes of savings per interaction).
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to become a proficient WalkMe builder. JQuery code can be cumbersome.

We had some difficulty for a period of time having a consistent Customer Success partner assigned to our account. Once Andrew Donges was designated as of June of 2023 the customer support and partnership improved significantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been primarily utilized to reduce the adoption time as new users are onboarded to the Guidewire platform. It has helped with onboarding and training users. Smart WalkThrus, and SmartTips provide self help to our users reducing support time needed. ShoutOuts are utilized monthly to communicate release items and other important announcements.
