Big Upgrade from Zapier for Business Process Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the UI looks like a workflow map and can naturally expand out horizontally (whereas Zapier and Workato are both very linear and vertical in their UI, making very complicated workflows hard to understand visually)
I love the error handling possibilities and the object routing template that Tray provided our team and that I have been customizing with their support.
I love the way Tray handles version history and allows for keeping a workflow online even if you are making small live changes to it.
I love that Tray has a bit more of a technical feel but is still simple for someone with no code experience to be the admin.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Tray allowed for more folders/organizing of workflows beyond just Organization and Personal folders.
I wish Tray allowed data manipulation at the field level like in Workato instead of having to add formatting steps in the workflow separately)
I wish Tray had a more robust self-driven learning portal to become a Tray power user.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using zapier for a core business process automation that runs across four different tools in our tech stack, and we hit the ceiling of what could be done and done well / adequately.
Big upgrades included moving steps around in the flow, instant trigger, many more conditional options for automation, and more.

Tray.io the best integration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to create new workflows! So much intuitive and the functionality to just drag and drop makes everything better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you build large workflows the UI starts to lag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration between a lot of different CRM's (and other systems). The workflows are so reliable!
Very Powerful Tool, Constantly Improving Support To Help Utilise It
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate with anything that has API documentation, as well as the 100's of prebuilt connectors. There has not been a more universal tool to improve our back office operations than this.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were previously located outside of their support office timezone. This meant requests for support were quite delayed and could drag over a day or two. Tray have since rectified this and I am sure we will see quicker solutions and training to help us understand everything the product can do for us
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated nearly all of our backend operations, allowing us to spend time on solving bigger problems as opposed to being tied down in operational filler.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have the beginnings of technical knowledge and the ability to think creatively on how to build out an automated flow - You will save so much time that you will have to start pretending you're working. The HTTP Clients and the documentation around how to use API calls will mean you build your connectors for most, if not all, the software you may already use without needing a developer.
Really good for integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with Facebook, Google, Zoom and Salesforces
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with Sql Server. It can be more intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done some integrations with Salesforce and update some objects like Contact.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
That it is really good to catch events from multiple sources.
Easy Mode for API automation
What do you like best about the product?
Empowers non-coders to access automation
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit difficult to navigate at first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DB data integrity, process automation, CRM access, lead enrichment, skill development
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gives you a Saas tool that acts as an Ops Dev department. You still need to understand the fundamentals of APIs, data structure and automation, but this fills in the gaps of coding knowledge required to build custom API connections.
Great tool to offset missing features of other services
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is fairly easy to use and has a lot of capability. The company is also very helpful when you get stuck or need help. I've used Tray.io at 2 companies now and it's allowed me to offload previous manual tasks to Tray.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a little bit of time to use Tray in the way that works best. My initial workflows were very simple and I still don't fully grasp some of the more advanced functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the number of manual tasks performed by IT or other business teams. It is also helpful with offboarding as some services don't have automatical deprovision via SCIM.
Automation without coding
What do you like best about the product?
Tray.io allowed me to automate processes without coding. Just using the user interface I was able to retrieve and send information making HTTPS requests calling APIs, create Slack interactions to send messages and gather answers, and maintain data up to date in different systems previously isolated.
Presenting the workflow visually also helps others to understand it and modify it.

What do you dislike about the product?
When becoming an advanced user, the UI may be perceived as slow. There are some UI improvements that need to be in place to make it easier to navigate big workflows. The ability to collapse and expand loops would be appreciated, and having more granular access controls would allow sharing workflows with the appropriate people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to automate documentation management reviews and approvals bringing together Slack, Emails, Confluence, and Jira.
I created a training through Slack relying on Slackbot interactions, guiding the users and presenting them information according to the interactions.
I was able to dump and process large datasets that were accessible through APIs.
Enriching information is also possible and quite important when dealing with incidents.

Great automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use with drag and drop JSON mapping. The support team is awesome, always prompt in getting back to my questions and providing great advice and direction!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really come across anything I don't like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data from our Greenhouse to ADP to simplify new hire data handling and ADP to Google and OneLogin to have ADP be our directory of truth
Easy to use. Great resources to get started. Most importantly highly effective.
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive design and great integration choices
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not as many integrations choices as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tray.io has helped us streamlines our workflows for Finance, Customer Suppot, and Development
Tray is an amazing platform to integrate systems
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way you can easily connect several platforms in real time. You can integrate your data across all the systems your company uses in just a few hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some UI adjustments just make more difficult the navigation in the builder, especially when we work with huge flows it's so complicated to navigate across all the steps and components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using real time inegrations, like salesforce with moodle, survey monkey, etc.
I can quickly integrate some systems (especially the ones that have already a component in tray.io).
