Great engineers - will work with again
What do you like best about the product?
I feel we were lucky to be paired with our solutions engineer (Gordon). We were building a custom integration and needed his critical thinking to solve for disconnects we were finding in the data.
Would recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?
Account Managers take weeks to communicate. Perhaps it is an industry standard I am not familiar with. If it is, disregard it. If it isn't, I would prioritize the communication issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were connecting a history student/class registration software with HubSpot. The integration works.
Long hard road but we got it to Production.
What do you like best about the product?
Live API Calls that allow you to see the data you can change or affect. Great documentation.
I worked with Matt E. on the many processes to get our integration done between Hubspot and Leaflink. He's a great guy and wonderful to work with. Their team is willing to admit failure but not defeat. It took a long time to get production, but we still got there.
Their team was willing to step in when there were problems, and they took ownership of the software shortcomings in dealing with my specific issues. We attacked the problems, coded solutions, and got our relationship back on track.

What do you dislike about the product?
The roadmap was rough and much longer than initially forecasted by their team. It took a long time to get to production. I was expecting a Q1 integration, and it rolled out in Q4. Not ideal, but they made right on the contract and billing to reflect this long onboarding process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data interpolation in the canabis industry.
We have an operational Hubspot to Leaflink integration that only interpolates data found in Leaflink as a customer.

Tray is very helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of Tray most. There are many ways to solve a given problem using the built in connectors and 3rd party ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI navigation can be difficult some times, for example getting back to your list of Workflows when you are inside of a workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Tray to generate custom csv reports to be used in various services. The scheduled trigger feature will allow me to make this process automatic.
Tray is the Swiss Army Knife of IPaaS.
What do you like best about the product?
Tray has an extensive collection of connectors that they are constantly adding to. As a company that heavily uses SaaS platforms that never 100% meet our needs, we are able to connect them together using Tray reliably and continue using our tools of choice without waiting for other development teams to build integrations for us. We also feel heard by their solutions and product teams with quick turnarounds for connector requests or enhancements that we need to support our workflows.
Tray also supplies a large number of data manipulation tools that can be used to connect systems together more effectively. It seems that every week we encounter an integrations problem that could be solved using Tray.

What do you dislike about the product?
Tray's user access governance leaves much to be desired. Organization-wide flows and auths are just that: available for literally anyone with a Tray account at your company to access and use. As we get larger and implement more controls we find it necessary to introduce segmentation into what people can access. Tray has workarounds that we are using, but it introduces extra management overhead that is not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Transferring data from one system to another where no native integrations exist
- Setting scheduled jobs
- Streamlining manual processes, saving many hours of work
- Integrations that have saved us money as we didn't have to purchase pre-built add-ons to replicate the functionality we could build in Tray

I found it as one of best integration platform.

allows me to protect my information and data in a much easier way
What do you like best about the product?
Its interface has a fairly simple, simple and powerful design which greatly simplifies a large number of processes and tasks, the fact that it allows me to protect my information and data in a much simpler, powerful and secure way is something of great help for maintain access to our information in a much simpler, safer and more practical way, their customer service team is quite fast and efficient when responding to any questions or requests that may be generated while using this application without any problem, the The fact that it can be integrated with other cloud software such as google drive and one drive is of great help to us to keep all our files in a fairly secure way and in the same interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their documentation is somewhat deficient, so if we have a problem that we need to solve quickly, we will have to resort to customer service, of course, they respond quickly but it would not hurt if you could solve your problems yourself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been being of great help to us to organize all our files in a much simpler, faster and more organized way, the fact that we can back everything in the cloud is of great help to us to access in a much simpler and practical way to information, not to mention the fact that it allows us to increase the security and integrity of our files by having digital backups of our company information.
Tray.io plays an important part in automating work processes.
What do you like best about the product?
Tray.io has made automating processes accessible for non-technical folks like myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way workflows are shared with coworkers is still unreliable. You can only have personal workflows or organizational workflows (i.e. no way to share with a specific team).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have many daily processes/data syncs that I have automated, which has freed up time and enabled me to support my business partners more effectively.
A multitool for business operations
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to implement on different platforms and easy to use UI, it's like having a quick programmer in reach without the need for extensive technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes get a bit complex and support is needed to finish it as they'll need to explain or propose the correct steps in the workflow, their support response times is usually not the best and hitting complex problems can take a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can quickly get projects rolling to our team and deliver results without going trough heavy engineering/ phases to implement, we can put workflow placeholders to migrate content and avoid disruption to the business operations
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a all-in-one solution for workflow issues and its way cheaper than hiring a developer / third party to build a custom API its very good at minor - mid complex implementations and you'll only need some ramp-up time to get it to work, anything that is outside of the scope of Tray is enterprise-grade development.
Excellent Low-Code Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Simplest IPAAS to set up and learn. We compared a couple different options, and this was the simplest one to set up and get our staff running with. Priced competitively and handled everything we through at it. From integrating with warehouses, customer care, email marketing, billing, data warehousing - all of the software that runs our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Disliked how version control currently works. They are working on a new version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating about 11 different pieces of software to automate our business. The first project provided efficiencies to reduce needed future customer care staff by 8 in the first three months.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having a programming background is helpful but not necessary to get started with Tray.io. There are some functions that are not implemented in the pre-built connectors. If you want to use that advanced functionality or integrate with software that isn't already integrated with Tray, some knowledge of API calls (aka, reading the API documentation) is required. Most things do not require in depth technical knowledge.
A Non-developer's Dream Integration Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Tray.io is an amazing solution for technically savvy managers, leaders, systems owners, and operations people to connect your technology stack in more powerful ways. I'm also a fan of solutions like Zapier and Piesync for simple or more "out-of-the-box" solutions, but Tray gives you more insight, flexibility, and depth to build a custom workflow that meets your needs without developer resources. If you have some engineering time on your hands (or even basic development skills) you can do just about anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface feels like it was built by engineers, for engineers. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it could be less approachable for people that have no development knowledge or background. There can also be a lack of intuition around some of the "Connectors" in their naming conventions and application. It's not a huge issue if you don't mind searching around in their help docs or learning through trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generally, I'm using Tray.io to connect just about every technology in our stack that doesn't have an existing native integration. Out internal database, HubSpot, GSuite, you name it. It's a great way to establish and maintain a "single-source-of-truth" database without investing in a ton of custom development that paralyzes you from changing settings / swapping systems in fear of breaking historic connections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have someone technical on your team own Tray.io. It doesn't need to be a developer, but someone that has an operating knowledge of development and API basics will get far more out of the platform.
