Flexible and User-Friendly, But Templates Need Improvement

  • October 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and super flexible. Non Miro people pick it up well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the templates - i always delete them.
I wish there was some simpler templates for common brainstorming.
Would love a MS Teams Meeting option to spin up a quick teams meeting space..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows a disperse team to brainstorm and co create as if we were on a physical whiteboard but better.

Intuitive and Adaptable Tool for Seamless Team Collaboration

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is an intuitive, adaptable and easy to use tool that allows teams to collaborate and ideate online. It allows teams to quickly capture, sort, prioritize and organize ideas in a virtual whiteboard space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connector arrows can sometimes be finnicky and overly sensitive, connecting sticky notes or shapes together even if that was not intended. The boards can also become disorganized easily with users being lost within a board and needing to zoom out a lot to reorient themselves within the digital workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me capture ideas in the digital space which is extremely helpful for online workshops and ideation session. I have a clear record of the ideas that I can then organize and sort. It also has many online facilitation features such as the timer and voting which make online workshop facilitation easier.

Excellent for Team Design, But Can Lag with Large Files

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great for live collaboration with team members. We use it for graphic design—mood boards, showcasing design work, etc. Can leave comments, or view together in real time. Lots of great tools for adding images, PDFs, text. There are a lot of templates and tools that keep coming out, that I have not delved into yet, but I can see some great potential.
What do you dislike about the product?
Text blocks are limited to a certain number of characters. Sometimes runs really slow when adding too many PDFs. Can't always see the other user's cursor when using the desktop app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to essentially review visuals virtually as if we were in person.

Dynamic Collaboration with Miro, But Clarity Can Improve

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro acts as a central place for collaboration and information sharing with my team, particularly as a fully remote worker. It has greatly streamlined our ability to align on vision and roadmap with ease. I appreciate Miro's intuitive interface which surpasses other tools we previously used like Lucidchart. I find the real-time collaboration feature a game changer, allowing immediate feedback through sticky notes, and real-time data linking with tools like Jira. The templates and Miroverse influence creativity and problem solving, enhancing our brainstorming sessions and allowing us to move forward effectively as a team. I also enjoy using Miro as a presentation tool to tell stories and align ideas. The visual aspects, such as stickers and emotive components, make the experience engaging and not mundane, which keeps the team's enthusiasm high. The ability to hide and reveal boards helps manage discussions efficiently, while the pen annotation tools allow for dynamic interaction with designs and documents. Additionally, I appreciate the continual improvements to features like tables, despite some challenges, as they are integral to my workflow in organizing and presenting information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find navigating Miro a bit challenging, especially when locating certain features or projects, which can get messy. This is a bit of a barrier for collaborators who aren't familiar with the tool, affecting the overall navigation experience. Moreover, I'm frustrated with the Miro board access limitations, particularly when I am not the owner. It restricts my ability to download the Miro file, which hinders me from showing it in my portfolios or using it for personal reference. Additionally, the export to PDF feature isn't very effective as it sometimes results in pixelated outputs, making it impractical for creating clear, presentable documents. I would also appreciate improved integration with tools like Figma, to streamline workflow processes from Miro to final designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro integrates my remote workflow by centralizing information, facilitating real-time collaboration on design projects, and supporting ideation, prototyping, and alignment with stakeholders, making it indispensable for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the option of different colored sticky notes to keep my projects organized and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
On rare occasions, I'm unable to access my digital bulletin board, which sometimes causes delays in my progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me keep track of open work orders, pending projects, and paid invoices.

Colorful and Versatile, But Frustrating Functionality

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has options, colorful, allows outside people to view the items created. I use it for creating diagrams of workflows, processes before putting those into motion in HubSpot
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality leaves much to be desired. It attempts to "predict" whether I'm using a mouse or a touchpad, but this often results in movement not working as intended. It's a bit difficult to describe. I continue to use it mainly because several of my clients already rely on it. Personally, I find that Milanote works better for me than Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share visually concepts that are difficult to communicate with text alone

Highly Flexible and Collaborative, But Usability Can Frustrate

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Super collaborative. Very flexible, it can be used for pretty much anything you can imagine. Just sign up and create boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
While being completely necessary, pay-walling additional boards is a pain point. Non-tech savvy users often get confused with the interface and click and drag things accidentally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows multiple team members to collaborate on their own time at their own pace.

Flexible and Versatile, But Navigation Needs Improvement

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It offers a lot of flexibility to show a process, diagram, table, notes, etc. Because of the open canvas, any size and scale can be accommodated.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to navigate (zooming in and out and moving across the entire screen). Additionally, I find myself mis-clicking a lot and accidentally moving things around unintentionally. Better controls or settings to address this would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to draw detailed business flows so that proposed new processes can be reviewed and refined with business users. We also use it for our IT steering committee meetings to show status of our initiatives.

Open Collaboration and Live Interface Make Teamwork Effortless

  • October 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the open collaboration and live interface. My team can share pictures, videos, notes, docs, and other media together and at the same time. Some media might have some issues with uploading or support (compatibility problems?) but there are some work-arounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, big projects can get bogged down and consume a lot of computer resources. If you do not have a great computer, then working on large projects could be a problem. Some optimization may be in order.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us to solve remote team collaboration.
