Fills a need
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and ease of collaboration is what makes Miro a go-to tool for me as a project manager. Projects that I need to eventually build detailed plans for can be thrown into a Miro board and fully flushed out as a first step and it always helps me visualize and get where I need to go efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
There maybe could be a more robust way of organizing boards. Aside from that I have no major dislikes about the actual functionality!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing before moving onto timelines and task management. Seeing the big picture and collaborating with my team.
Game-changing for our remote digital marketing agency
What do you like best about the product?
We use Miro across all aspects of our project lifecycles and incorporate it to workshop, research and get feedback from our clients. As a digital marketing agency, we go heavy on researching, brainstorming, mood-boarding and crafting rough early concepts. Before Miro, we didn't have a space to do this effectively as a remote team. Miro has become our virtual whiteboard where we can show all our rough work, rationale and approaches to our clients. We've used to map processes via diagrams, wireframe landing pages, determine information hierarchy for sales collateral and iterate/optimize by getting feedback directly from our clients. We like that there's templates, it's intuitive, multi-media...truly, it's a blank canvas for us to organize ourselves however we need. Every single project now runs with a Miro board incorporated in some aspect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recovery of version history is important to us so we wish that's more of an accessible and stronger feature.
The table feature is a bit finnicky and not our favourite. We continue to use excel. Regardless, it's a strong tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can showcase process and incrementally anchor folks in previous decisions because research, inspiration, early concepts/pitches are all in one space along with feedback. Therefore, it's a lot easier to track the history of logic, rational and approach. We also can take clients along for the ride even in the early stages of a project where you don't have tangible results or deliverables to show but want to showcase the process work. It helps create a lot more collaboration and transparency when working remote.
Best collaborative tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro is so intuitive to learn, and such a wonderful tool for all kinds of online, real-time collaborations and discussions. There are a ton of options to cater to a whole variety of needs. It is such an essential in my line of work and I use it so frequently, I cannot find anything that comes close.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the miro board is too big and I try opening it up on my iPhone, it rarely works and the app keeps restarting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple people using the board at once, tracking all the changes when I am offline so I can see what the updates are, relevant features
Senior FullStack Developer
What do you like best about the product?
As a FullStack developer, I use Miro almost daily for architecture planning, user flow mapping, and sprint retrospectives. What I like most is how fast it feels to transform abstract ideas into structured visuals. The real-time collaboration is rock solid — it handles multiple participants sketching, commenting, and linking Jira tickets without breaking a sweat. Integrations with tools like Notion, Figma, and Confluence save hours every week. It’s honestly one of the few apps that developers and non-technical teammates both enjoy using.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on large architecture boards with hundreds of elements, performance sometimes drops, especially in browsers with many tabs open. Also, I’d love to see better version control — similar to Git commits — for complex boards. Pricing can get steep once your team scales beyond 10 active users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me centralize brainstorming, architecture planning, and team communication in one space. Before Miro, design and engineering discussions were scattered across chat threads and screenshots. Now we visualize complex backend flows, user journeys, and system dependencies in a single shared board. It drastically improves alignment between devs, designers, and product managers — fewer meetings, faster decisions, and clearer documentation.

A gamechanger for our small company
What do you like best about the product?
Its potential to reach audiences that we couldnt or wouldnt be able to reach to do creative workshops with in person. It has provided us with amazing adaptable templates for facilitating work within our team and with our many partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all of our clients can access MIRO from within their own organisational accounts for privacy reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use MIRO for many of our audience and partner workshops to explore ideas, to evaluate their work collaborative and to faciliate discussions. MIRO has provided us with many different templates that we have adapted or applied directly to our workshops - our clients and participants generally love the aesthtics and intuitive working. It has meant that we can reach many more people, partners, participants who we could not have otherwise reached either because of their access needs for in person workshops or because of financial barriers
