What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for around two years, primarily for design concepts and brainstorming, and it has proven to be an excellent tool for these purposes. I truly appreciate how Miro facilitates collaboration and idea sharing, making teamwork more effective and seamless. Its features like templates are particularly useful, helping streamline the design process significantly. The overall user experience is greatly enhanced by the ease of use, especially in handling shapes and other elements. Furthermore, the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are very well designed, providing an intuitive and appealing environment for creative works.

Setting up Miro is challenging due to the way it charges for seats, which includes invited visitors, making the setup quite difficult. Additionally, the pricing is perceived as expensive and sometimes deceptive.

I use Miro for collaboration and sharing ideas, benefiting from its user-friendly design and ease of use with shapes, which enhances brainstorming and design concept sessions.

Intuitive and Effective, but Free Version is Limited

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for approximately three years and I appreciate how it helps me in mapping processes and organizing my ideas. It is especially effective for taking ideas out of my head and putting them into practice. The ease of use and the ready-made templates provided are extremely valuable, as they facilitate use, especially for those who are not very familiar with frameworks or design. The use of post-its and the ability for team collaboration are aspects I find extremely useful, as many people in the company can access Miro and collaborate on any board. Additionally, Miro stands out for its effectiveness in organizing and planning complex projects, providing visibility over the project stages, which significantly benefits my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the free version of Miro is very limited. The number of boards I can create is restricted, which affects usability, especially when I want to work on specific projects. This forces me to consider a paid license or look for other solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize information, provide visibility in complex projects, and facilitates collaboration between areas, being effective in organization and planning.

Nice and easy for prototyping, but free version limits collaboration

What do you dislike about the product?
The free version makes it difficult to export images, as it only allows for low-quality. Additionally, collaborating with others is challenging unless you upgrade to a paid plan

Unmatched Flexibility and Efficient Integration

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for about 10 years and have always considered it my favorite among the collaborative board solutions on the market, as there is no better solution. I love how Miro helps map my work and create collaborative documents, as well as presenting information in a visual and compact manner. This makes the results of my work clearer, more concise, and easier to understand. I like the flexibility and the large number of diagrams and objects available in Miro, which allow me to use the different components creatively and flexibly to meet my needs. The integrations with Google Drive, Power BI, and Slack further strengthen Miro's usability for me. Additionally, I appreciated that the setup is always very straightforward and easy, without barriers, reaffirming the platform's intuitiveness. These aspects, combined with its flexibility and features, make Miro an unparalleled tool for my daily work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be important because we are sometimes working with people who have some difficulty with the interaction paradigm and using the Miro interface. It would be important to try to convert the Miro content to Excel or Google Sheets, for example, and be able to export to other formats in a way that makes sense, without losing much, to formats like Google Docs or Word. Because for more classic or traditional people, these are more useful and actionable formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to map my work, create collaborative documents, and present information in a visual and compact way, making my results clearer, concise, and easier to understand.

Transforms Collaboration and Planning, Needs Excel Compatibility

  • November 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Miro's collaborative nature which significantly aids in teamwork, allowing project managers and teams to efficiently carry out scrum-related activities. The platform's intuitive interface makes it incredibly easy to navigate and use its vast array of features, including an extensive template library that simplifies tasks such as brainstorming sessions, customer journey mapping, and sprint planning. The seamless integration with Jira stands out as a key strength, enabling my team to link tasks and execute strategic planning and granular task management reliably. Miro's ability to bring diverse teams together in real time for co-creation, brainstorming, and planning boosts our interactivity and makes the planning process more enjoyable and efficient. Its AI capabilities, combined with robust integration options, enhance team innovation and execution effectiveness, making it a powerhouse for driving productivity and creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the Miro table functionality inadequate, especially in comparison to Excel. The lack of compatibility with Excel's capabilities, such as cell merging, makes it difficult to work with tables in Miro. When I copy-paste tables from Excel to Miro, the merged cells become unmerged, which complicates navigation and collaborative work. Improving Miro's spreadsheet compatibility with Excel would greatly enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro enhances team collaboration and planning, integrating seamlessly with Jira for efficient task management and reducing setup time while making sessions more interactive and engaging.
