Ideas to impact, in one canvas

  • October 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Real-time collaboration is impressively fast, even when working with distributed teams. The combination of the infinite canvas and frames allows for a smooth transition from chaotic brainstorming to organized results, all within a single platform. Templates help accelerate the kickoff process, while integrations with tools like Jira, Asana, Confluence, Drive, and Figma ensure that work remains connected. Features such as comments, @mentions, timers, and voting help maintain focus during workshops. Miro Assist is particularly useful for clustering sticky notes and summarizing sessions, which significantly reduces the time needed for post-workshop cleanup.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with very large, asset-heavy boards, performance can become sluggish, and the search function occasionally fails to find older cards. The permissions for guests or external users can be confusing, often feeling like an all-or-nothing approach. Exporting to PDF or PNG sometimes results in a loss of scale or legibility, and offline support remains limited. While the diagramming features are reliable, they still lag behind those of specialized tools. Additionally, the pricing can become expensive for those who only collaborate occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work remains organized and aligned without the need for excessive meetings, as a single board serves as the definitive source of truth. This helps decisions hold firm and accelerates project cycles. Remote collaboration is seamless thanks to real-time co-editing, commenting, and built-in timers. Brainstorming sessions are more productive, with ideas evolving from simple stickies into clusters, maps, and actionable plans. New team members can quickly get up to speed by exploring linked boards, frames, and templates. Handoffs are more efficient, with designers, PMs, and engineers reaching consensus on flows and edge cases before tickets are created. The use of reusable templates ensures that teams can consistently run the same effective ceremonies every time.

User intuitive

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is its intuitive and flexible collaboration features. My team uses it all the time for brainstorming and organizing ideas visually. The variety of templates and real-time editing really help keep everyone engaged and on the same page. Plus, it integrates smoothly with other tools, which streamlines the workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was possible to add videos more seamlessly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It breaks down the barriers of remote brainstorming by giving us a shared visual space to map out ideas, craft concepts, and refine messaging together in real time. We do story-boarding a lot in my field for video campaigns and it's so helpful to quickly make mockup frame and add things in a lay it out to see what a rought board would look like. This not only speeds up our workflow but also sparks more creativity because everyone can contribute instantly. It helps us with faster project turnaround, stronger campaigns, and a more connected team.

The tool that makes team planning feel visual and easy

  • October 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro makes collaboration effortless. My team uses it weekly for sprint planning, retros, and roadmapping. The interface feels intuitive, and the templates save so much setup time. Sticky notes, diagrams, and comments all flow naturally, so even remote sessions feel like we’re in the same room. It’s also great that everything auto-saves and is easy to share with people outside the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the boards can get a bit heavy and slow to load, especially when there are lots of images or widgets. I also wish permissions and sharing settings were a little clearer. it’s easy to accidentally give edit access when you only meant to share view-only. But these are minor compared to how much value it adds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me and my team to organize ideas and align across remote teams. It’s where we do sprint planning, retros, and roadmap discussions, so everyone can see the big picture without constant meetings. It also replaced a mix of tools we used for brainstorming and documentation. now everything lives under one roof, which saves time and keeps collaboration smoother.

Miro Helps Me Turn Complex Ideas Into Clear Visual Plans

  • October 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Miro to facilitate brainstorming sessions and collaboratively planned sessions. It is my preferred working interface when my coworkers and I have to make disorganized ideas coherent and manifest them visually in organized flowcharts, user journey maps, and product road maps. I like the straightforward and user-friendly method of moving and adjust pixels on a board without the anxiety of underlying structures.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to stay organized when big boards in Miro start lagging. When creating boards with content images and sticky notes, the lag makes it hard to stay organized. It is chaotic when searching for old boards or specific content, especially when there is no way to filter the search. For smaller teams it is hard to operate when content and templates are locked behind a pay wall. It would be nice if the image exporting options let you customize the layout and image quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding some organization to the psychedelic world of Miro saves a ton of time spent trying to work through complicated abstract outlines in slides and documents. My teammates and I are able to work on the same project simultaneously, and each of us is able to see the changes being made to the Miro board in real time. My teammates and I are able to accomplish projects in a timely manner, as we are able to make decisions in the neatly organized work on the board, rather than being bogged down with slow emails.

Great visualization tool

  • October 09, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simple connectivity and customization of elements in a board, along with the interactivity possible with a dispersed team. It is an easy program to learn and integrate into our processes as many of the tools are consistent with other programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The color palette and shape functions are limited. I would like to see multiple recommended color palettes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is allowing me to develop and communicate product strategies and plans in a highly visual manner. This reduces hours of text manipulation to get the connections communicated in a non-visual format. It also allows us to develop and modify organizational charts quickly and easily.
