Easy Setup, Essential for Large Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro is faster and easier to use than the platform we previously used, Concept Board. Setting it up was really easy, and it's great that Miro provides effective ways to migrate from other services. I appreciate how Miro allows our team to present home pricing effectively to home sellers across the country, which is crucial for our large team that relies heavily on it. The ability to use a lot of CMAs and different pricing presentations on Miro boards helps us get our point across effectively and capture more business. I find embedding sites and placing custom PDFs on the board to be especially useful features. Furthermore, the integration with Google Sheets enhances our workflow. Overall, Miro significantly improves our team’s efficiency in presenting and managing tasks, prompting us to fully recommend it to all our team members who join us.

Flexible and User-Friendly for Design, but Shape Tool Snap Needs Improvement

The flexibility and open-endedness of Miro is very conducive to applications in the design field. It is a nice balance between simplicity and user-friendly interface with robust performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have about Miro is the shape tool. It would be great if the snap feature was not so strong, or could be disabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is providing a real-time collaborative digital space. It allows me to work quickly and naturally with teammates who I do not share an office with.

Great for Team Collaboration, But Large Boards Load Slowly
What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use and flexibility. Whiteboarding is a skill that feels lost in a remote work and being able to do that as a team helps collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading times. I wish having a large board wouldn't affect the load times. Also seeing history isn't my favorite. I'd love a feature like Google Sheets where I could right click on the item and find out who edited it last.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to be able to roadmap that's visually pleasing and flexible.

Seamless Collaboration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro has made collaboration effortless with my team and other teams in a shared space, where everyone can easily contribute and organize their ideas. The templates available in Miro are incredibly useful, allowing me to quickly start a project without having to design from scratch. I love the live update feature, which enables real-time collaboration, as team members can see changes as they happen and track where others are focusing on in the document. Additionally, sharing Miro boards is straightforward, which enhances team collaboration further.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that Miro can get a bit messy due to its high level of customization. While the ability to personalize the workspace is beneficial, it sometimes leads to a disorganized layout, especially when multiple users are involved. A little more help or features to keep things neater and more organized would be appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for easy collaboration in a shared space, enabling everyone to contribute and organize ideas efficiently.
Revolutionized Our Remote Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for about five years as a digital whiteboarding tool to collaborate with other designers and product people on my team. Miro has been invaluable for conducting collaboration brainstorming reviews, work sessions, prioritization activities, discovery activities, research and analysis, and synthesizing information to identify trends. Its flexibility in moving around the canvas, the wide variety of templates, and the intuitive ability to draw boxes and connect them with arrows enhance the user experience. The integration with other tools, especially Jira, is extremely beneficial for our processes, allowing us to reference tickets effortlessly. Miro excels in supporting remote work, helping my team stay aligned and solving problems by utilizing features like the timer, AI clustering, and fun elements such as stickers and presentations. I particularly appreciate its wireframing capabilities, preferring it over Figma for my projects due to the ease and fidelity it provides. The utility of Miro is heightened by its drag-and-drop interface, rich template library sourced from Miroverse, and the efficiency it brings to session facilitation with features such as sticky notes and the Kanban board. Having a central location where collaborators can align on one issue and have everything in one spot for brainstorming, collaboration, discussion, presentation, and innovation makes Miro indispensable. I am impressed enough to rate it a solid 10 out of 10, highlighting the significant positive impact it has on my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experience difficulties with organization within Miro boards. It feels like there could be major improvements in organizing, filtering, and sorting boards, especially when dealing with numerous and sometimes unnamed boards. Finding specific boards can often become a hunt, which is frustrating when trying to locate past content. Additionally, the transition from wireframe creation in Miro to Figma is not seamless and requires improvement to ease the workflow from low to mid-fidelity designs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves remote collaboration challenges, keeping my team aligned and productive. Its intuitive interface and features like AI clustering and timers enhance our creativity and workflow. It also supports effective idea communication and boosts productivity through seamless integration, like with Jira.
Time-Saving Collaboration with Cutting-Edge AI, Feature-packed!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro saves me time, and helps me brainstorm and workshop with the engineering teams and across the organisation also. Miro has cutting edge AI features, which are always ahead of the market, which provide more time savings and business efficiencies. Helps improve work with remote, in-person and hybrid teams and creating a culture of inclusivity. Miroverse has a great array of templates which can help save planning effort for workshops also.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to find the history of a Miro board. I have come from being an Admin at previous company, to now a User/ Editor of boards, so it can be hard initially to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has some very exciting updates coming in their latest release, which we just had a demo on. Embedded documents in Miro boards. Stickies to Sheets conversions. Spin the wheel. Stealth-mode to hide what people are writing on stickies to enable more openness and contributions from team members. Many many more!
Miro is now solving problems I didn't know I had. Probably the biggest challenge is now keeping up with their awesome innovation and learning how to use it quickly and make use of all the features.
