Project Management Organization for the Visual People!

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We began using Miro as a way to keep track of projects teamwide. We wanted something VISUAL as opposed to just a checklist. (Like a whiteboard in office but virtual since we work from different locations). It's easy to see where each project is and what needs done next, especially when we can assign the tasks as well. I go in daily and check on each project. Customer support was very helpful as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was a Master Task List so we can just see what needs done next for everyone instead of going into the board for each project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us manage our numerous projects in a visual manner.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and the different variations of templates you can start with. I use it for customer journey or process maps and it is also promotes collaboration, so I tend to use it often in team meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it can be a little glitchy sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualising processes and taking team members on the journey - a board for the team to collaborate on in team meetings too.

Great for those familiar with it

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool to virtually collaborate with a team to collect ideas, organize thoughts, and work through projects. My team uses it daily, and I have used it in the past across several different roles and team structures. Once introduced to the platform, Miro is very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can be a bit overwhelming when being shown to someone (such as a client) who is unfamiliar with it. I have attempted to use it in a non-design setting to introduce it to my team, but there was definitely a learning curve. Even as someone who has used the platform for several years, there are many features that I am unaware of that could increase my productivity, and I am not aware of them until someone happens to show me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborating virtually with remote employees in real-time. Streamlines our process.

    Architecture & Planning

An Integral Part of My Everyday Workflow

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I introduced Miro to my current workplace and convinced the office to sign up for an Enterprise Plan, and it has significantly improved the way our team collaborates across projects and locations. I am a landscape architect, working with multiple project teams on a daily basis, and we use Miro for a wide variety of purposes: As a whiteboard for live design sessions during meetings; As a pinup board for progress reviews, markups and commenting sharing; As a shared resource database for precedent images, diagram and timeline templates, etc.; As an organizational tool to manage workload and communicate work schedules. We've been using it increasingly heavily and have gone from using it only in virtual meetings to now at in-person meetings as well. It's become a very important and integral part of our team's workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many details that can be improved:
1. Ability to adjust transparency on images. This is badly needed!!
2. Compatibility with vector files - PDFs tend to slow Miro down.
3. Layer management
4. Keyboard shortcuts
5. Scale drawings for measurements
6. More extensive drawing tools
7. Access sharing settings - sharing with external users has been very difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has helped improve our team collaborate across locations and project teams tremendously. Being able to draw, visualize, communicate and create designs live and simultaneously as a team is key to our profession, because that's where creativity thrives. The virtual space and flexibility Miro offers is unmatched by other products that I've personally experienced.

Using Miro for virtual workshops and we are quite happy with it

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to use, easy accessible and allows you to do everything you need for workshops with customers. Most of our customers already made experiences with Miro, so it makes it even easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am also an admin in our Miro instance, the user maintenance could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use case is mainly the use as a virtual whiteboard. Does what it supposed to do.

A easy to use whiteboarding tool

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is used during the initial stages of a project for brainstorming and has a wide variety of inbuilt templates to choose from while creating a basic project plan such as the mind mapping template .It has a infinite canvas and allows multiple user to update the same board and all changes are synced automatically .I have noticed no log in the interface even when multiple users are working on the same board.I use it on a daily basis during meetings to present my ideas .Access can be shared by using a link and its possible to give read only access to users .

Very clean and fast User interface
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has just too many templates and sometimes its confusing what to use I would prefer only a few commonly used templates in the initial view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps a lot for brainstorming solutions for a business problem which needs to be digitalized in the initial stages of the project .The As -Is process is mapped on the miro easily using the flowchart tools and helps the process owners to visualize the entire process using the board and is easier for them to give suggestions and remarks which can be further incorporated in the board .Miro also helps multiple users to work on the same board which improves collaboration and saves a lot of time. The board can be easily shared to other members of the team such as solution architects so that they can view the board and propose solutions using just a link where all the content is updated in real time

Miro, a new way to think and plan as a team

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has proven to be a very useful tool for organizing ideas and projects within the team. What I like the most is the flexibility it offers: you can start with a blank canvas and use it for both quick brainstorming and planning complex processes.

The feeling of freedom when moving elements, connecting notes, or creating flows is quite natural and helps make meetings more dynamic. Additionally, the fact that several people can work simultaneously on the same board makes it a very powerful alternative for remote collaboration, almost as if we were all in the same room in front of a physical whiteboard.

The amount of templates and guides available in Miroverse is overwhelming, and it's easy to find examples of a model or project to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a negative point, I would say that sometimes on very loaded boards, the performance drops and it becomes less smooth. Even with those details, the overall experience is very positive and it seems to me to be one of the best digital tools for visual collaborative work.

The desktop client on Mac is sometimes a bit basic and, for example, it doesn't allow you to fill in system passwords when it asks you to log in after an update. It also doesn't allow you to manage the tabs of the open boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to map internal processes (for example, how a workflow is managed from start to finish) and identify areas for improvement.

- Also create user diagrams, customer journeys, or product flows that help to better understand the customer experience.

- Prepare workshops or participatory dynamics without the need for everyone to be physically in a room.

- Organize projects visually, assigning tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities more clearly.

- Note and analyze pain points and problems in projects under development and production...

Miro makes collaboration and brainstorming effortless

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is one of the most versatile collaboration tools I’ve used. The infinite canvas allows teams to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas in real time without restrictions. I especially like the vast library of templates for retrospectives, customer journey maps, and wireframes, which makes it easy to get started quickly. The ability to comment, tag teammates, and integrate with tools like Jira, Slack, and Figma makes collaboration seamless even in remote-first environments. It has become an essential part of workshops, sprint planning, and design sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel overwhelming for first-time users due to the sheer number of features. Performance sometimes lags on very large boards with many elements, and exporting boards in high resolution could be more user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it heavily for mapping customer journeys, which makes it easy to visualize every touchpoint and identify pain points collaboratively. Instead of static presentations, everyone can contribute in real time, which leads to better insights and faster decisions. Beyond that, it helps us run workshops, plan sprints, and document ideas in one shared space, ultimately improving collaboration and reducing project turnaround time.

Productivity with Miro

  • September 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool for getting started, particularly when facing a blank page during project planning or product ideation. The option to quickly drag in a pre-made template and customize it to fit your specific needs is extremely useful. Miro is easy to use, even for beginners, and I tend to use it frequently for various tasks like note taking, meeting planning, requirements capture, refining documentation. The ability to integrate with other apps like Jira cards is great. No issues with customer support and is easy to implement and get started
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of creating cross-functional flowcharts could be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overcoming the 'blank-page syndrome' is much easier when brainstorming ideas with this tool. The AI-powered feature that speeds up converting items from one format to another not only saves time but also provides valuable insights.
