Intuitive Collaboration with Miro—Powerful Features, Slight Learning Curve

  • October 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The visual collaboration Miro gives is super intuitive and offers such variety. Also, compared to others tools I've used like Visio or Confluence's white board or draw-io, this offers real-time collaboration with teams. One feature I admire is the integration with Jira and teams we have, it helps a lot ! Really, it's an awesome tool for brainstorming and it has been my go to tool so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the learning curve was a little overwhelming at first but once you get used to it, it's fine. But it can be intimidating at first for any new users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowed to collaborated easily with people on my team and organization. We have work sessions and mainly use miro. People have a tendency to not read documentation but when you present them a visual diagram, their eyes are more attracted to it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is a bit slow and takes time to load if there are a lot of multiple widgets ,screenshots etc .But is fast to load in most of the cases
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps to brainstorm effortlessly especially while working remotely as it allows multiple team member to work on the board at the same time while in a online meeting .Its really easy to share the board to multiple users just using a link and the updated board is always accessible in the same link which makes sharing and access to board easy.

Excellent for Team Collaboration, But Large Boards Can Get Cluttered

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how it brings our team’s ideas and workflows together in one dynamic, visual space. As an account manager, I use it for client brainstorms, campaign mapping, and project tracking. The real-time collaboration features make it easy for everyone, both internal teams and clients, to contribute ideas, comment on visuals, and align quickly. I especially appreciate how flexible the templates are for everything from account planning to creative reviews, helping keep meetings efficient and projects clearly organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Miro is that large boards can become slow or cluttered when multiple people are working on them simultaneously. It can also take time for new users or clients to get comfortable navigating the workspace, especially during live sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps address the challenge of keeping cross-functional teams aligned and engaged, especially when working remotely or across different time zones. It serves as a central hub for brainstorming, project planning, and client collaboration, all in one shared space. As an account manager, I use it to present campaign strategies, capture client feedback, and visually track progress throughout each project. This has made our workflow more transparent and efficient while strengthening collaboration and ensuring everyone stays aligned from kickoff to final delivery.

Miro makes it easy to collaborate visually with colleagues on a daily basis. When we need to move from discussions to wireframes to design, Miro is the ideal place to ideate.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it's difficult to find the tools I need from the menus. This is especially true when I'm looking for something simple (like an icon) and the time it takes to find it quickly becomes frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me sketch ideas in ways that are easily understood by colleagues and clients. I can quickly develop wireframes, diagrams, and user journeys to communicate my ideas.

No More Post-Its All Over My Walls And Desk!

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep me organized. I write for three publications and need to plan out interviews and stories month in advance, and used to have a wall of sticky notes. Now I simply click over to Miro which I leave open on a tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides for me. Sometimes zoom in and out is a little wonky, but it's not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize everything I have to do at work. Nothing slips through the cracks now because every project or story I am working on is on Miro. I also love that I can link on the Post-Its, so it also lets me keep track of all the files pertaining to projects.

Efficient Collaboration with Miro, Slightly Pricey

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro incredibly efficient for team collaboration. It streamlines our work significantly with real-time progress tracking. The collaboration and drawing tools, along with the tree structure for connecting different text boxes and shapes, facilitate creating comprehensive mind boards. It's also excellent for brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the pricing of Miro's subscription to be a barrier, especially when compared to other free apps I use on my iPad. The cost presents a challenge if I were to consider purchasing it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product facilitates real-time collaboration, enhancing teamwork efficiency and project progress visibility.
