Best for Mind map creation

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are numerous options available for mind map templates.
This is my first time using this Miro app for mind map creation, which was recommended by one of my colleagues.
I started exploring it on my own and found it very user-friendly. While exploring the app, I discovered a variety of options and different boards that you can choose from and customize according to your needs.
Currently, I have created a mind map, but we haven't started the review process in this app yet; however, we plan to do so soon.
The app makes it easy for anyone to create a mind map, even if they have no prior experience.
With its intuitive design, you can quickly become proficient.
Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscription feels slightly overpriced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is its ability to facilitate seamless collaboration, regardless of participants' locations. It establishes a communal environment where ideas can be expressed visually, ensuring that everyone is engaged in the process. Additionally, creating rough sketches and wireframes is expedited by the availability of predefined icons, components, and prototype libraries . This not only conserves time but also allows for a greater emphasis on creativity rather than on setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Miro can feel a bit sluggish, especially when working with large boards that contain many elements, which leads to longer loading times. It would also be helpful to have more advanced templates tailored to specific fields. Although these are relatively minor concerns compared to the overall value, addressing them would greatly enhance the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the problem of fragmented design and brainstorming tools by providing a unified collaborative environment. As a UX designer, I find that it allows me to quickly turn ideas into initial sketches, wireframes, and prototypes using its built-in components and libraries. This not only improves my workflow efficiency but also helps me stay aligned with colleagues and keeps the creative process moving smoothly without technical obstacles. Building on ideation is seamless, and it helps make projects well-organized with a structured board all in one place.

Intuitive and versatile platform for visual collaboration and brainstorming.

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is its flexible and intuitive visual workspace, which really simplifies real-time collaboration with team members. Whether I'm brainstorming, creating mind maps, or planning projects, the platform makes the process smooth. The drag-and-drop interface, along with the available templates and integrations with other tools, makes organizing ideas feel effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about Miro is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the abundance of features, which may be particularly daunting for new users. I have also noticed that performance tends to slow down when working with very large boards. Furthermore, some of the more advanced features are only available with paid plans, which restricts the full range of functionality for those using the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the challenges of dispersed teamwork and scattered ideas by offering a centralized, visual collaboration platform. It enables teams to brainstorm, plan projects, and map out processes together in real time, even when working remotely.

Personally, I find this very helpful because it keeps all ideas organized in a single location, improves clarity during team discussions, and accelerates decision-making. This helps minimize the back-and-forth communication that often happens with emails or chat messages.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the completely seamless experience and the ease with which I can find answers to any questions, even very specific ones, without needing to contact support services. Hence the best customers support is when you don't need it. The authorization process is also thoughtfully designed. This product is truly inspiring, maintaining high standards and encouraging everyone to strive for excellence.
The versatility of the use case is huge, I use it a s visual placeholder for almost every task I do as a PM and to talk with my diverse stakeholders to have a common understanding of the topic at hand. It is a great documentation tool as well as a great team building tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the sign-up process confusing as a new user who has just joined a company, particularly when I'm required to use my company email address and join a 'team.' These shared spaces are often outdated, relying on free accounts and old boards that aren't always maintained. In this scenario, a free user can't really make use of the three free boards, which limits their ability to influence how their company adopts Miro. Additionally, the AI features could be highlighted more clearly (providing much more credits to just try out things and possibilities), since it's easy to spend a lot of time experimenting and failing before actually discovering what Miro can offer.
It may be difficult for "visitors" to figure out how to contribute to the project they are invited to collaborate on. It is easy to implement since sign up is fast, but not the same as a free visitor without an account, who also need to be onboarded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides me with an interactive, highly versatile, and intuitive platform for mapping out and connecting ideas. The ease of sharing makes it convenient to take results out of the Miroverse and deliver value to stakeholders who simply need to be kept informed. The templates offer a wide range of inspiration to help get started quickly and avoid procrastination. Overall, it is an excellent tool for managing innovation and encouraging collaboration, especially in a remote-first company.

Miro is a very simple tool to put thoughts to paper and share with the team.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to put your thoughts down on paper, whether for your own reference or for your team to see, allows you to bring people together instantly to share ideas and feedback. It provides an easy way for everyone to stay informed about the tasks at hand. If support from the site is needed, sending a quick message is all it takes to resolve any issues that arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pretty hard to fully understand when you first get going, however with help that the site provides it does become easy to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to show the whole team what direction we want to be heading in, this comes with visual timescales and stages that we have been hitting and what we need to be hitting.

Great Tool for Planning and Organizing Workflows

  • September 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it really easy to map out flows and systems visually. I like how flexible the boards are, and the templates save me a lot of time. It’s intuitive and collaborative, so it works well for brainstorming, planning, and organizing complex ideas with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming when the board gets too big, and it takes extra effort to keep everything organized. Also, it can run slowly with larger boards or when too many people are collaborating at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me organize complex workflows and systems in a way that’s easy to understand and share. Instead of juggling scattered notes or disconnected tools, I can map everything out visually in one place. This makes planning smoother, helps me spot gaps or improvements faster, and keeps my team aligned since we can collaborate in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how simple and fun Miro is to use. It makes working with others—especially remotely—so much smoother. I use it a lot in training sessions and service design projects, and it’s awesome for brainstorming, mapping out ideas, and keeping everyone on the same page. It’s super visual and flexible, which helps me stay creative and organized at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the boards get really big or there are lots of people working at once, it can slow down a bit. It’s not a huge issue, but something I’ve noticed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Whether I’m running a training session or working on a service design project, Miro makes it easy to share ideas, stay organized, and keep everyone engaged. It saves me time, helps me stay creative, and makes teamwork feel way more natural and fun.

For someone is is tech savvy and works in Silicon Valley, Miro is user friendly. For someone not as tech savvy, it may be hard to navigate.

Fantastic way to communicate complex ideas into an understandable format.

  • September 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's super intuitive and easy to use. The platform also makes it really easy to collaborate seamlessly, which is fantastic for cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's easy to use, but when you first start, there can be a slight overwhelm as far as features and options go. Exploring and testing out features and toolbars helps you to get the "lay of the land" better, however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a really great way of helping you to take complex, tough to explain ideas and make them more digestible. It's also a great way of getting ideas out of your head and mapping them out for yourself, or to share with others.
