One of my favourite pieces of software
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent tool for collaboration and brainstorming. It offers a huge variety of templates, diagrams, and integrations that make it versatile for almost any use case. I especially love using it with my team during brainstorming sessions and product ceremonies, it keeps everyone engaged and aligned. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, quick to set up, and packed with features that make working together seamless. Miro has truly become one of my go-to tools in my day-to-day work!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides! Mainly that guest access is limited so anyone you want to collaborate with usually has to sign up for an account, which can create friction if you’re just trying to run a quick brainstorming session.
While the abundance of features is great, it can feel a bit overwhelming for first-time users!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve the challenge of running effective brainstorming sessions and product ceremonies with distributed teams. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we can bring ideas, diagrams, and workflows together in one place. It keeps collaboration seamless, speeds up setup, and makes it easy to align everyone visually. The result is more productive sessions, clearer communication, and faster decision-making. It's a great tool for remote teams.
Best platform for Business - IT collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an intuitive and easy-to-use solution that supports the software development process from the early business ideation stage through architectural and solution planning, all the way to delivery. I find it amazing how seamlessly a team can collaborate on the same board and iterate together toward a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function feels somewhat hidden, and I think it would be beneficial to have a search feature that can locate diagrams or drawings even when they don't contain text, simply by using a description of the object.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a common platform for creating diagrams and mapping application screens to IT solutions or interfaces. It helps visualize how different parts of an application connect and interact, making it easier to plan and communicate system designs.
Easy to use collaboration tool that helps team members better define problems and goals.
What do you like best about the product?
Timed sessions for team members to create sticky notes for ideation, and card grouping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost too many tools, it can get confusing, and some team members use different "widgets" than others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workshopping helps us to first define business goals, collaborate as a team, ideate, refine and determine final outcomes.
Miro has been the cornerstone for every brainstorming session I have with my team.
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great at creating visuals for my market research, especially after the AI integerations. I simply have to drag and drop my findings and it just magically align things on its own making my work a lot easier to implement. The ability to share the same board in real time with my team is also really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Miro but yeah they surely can work towards more mobile native experience if not fully then just to view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's much better than using sheets to create content calendars, mindmaps of my market research and brainstorming, all at one place.
Best option for engaging online workshops and trainings
What do you like best about the product?
After having tried several other Infinite Canvas Boards I have finally chosen Miro, because it supports my approach of engaging online workshops. With helpful functions such as layers (perfect to explain complex processes), Private Mode (helps participants to focus on their own opinions) – and of course the AI tools, Miro helps me facilitate workshops that are equal to in-room workshops. The feedback from participants shows this every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The wide range of functions can make it a bit challenging for beginners to fully grasp all the available features. Additionally, I’ve noticed that some of my larger boards, which contain a lot of content, can still become somewhat sluggish at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for online trainings to explain complex processes. Also for online coachings it is helpful to have an easy-to-use board that I can sketch on as I would on a flip-chart.
An app with fair user experience and nice collaboration tools
What do you like best about the product?
The live collaboration is really helpful, I was able to have live meetings with my team, and they could participate in the Miro board with ease.
The onboarding process was short, concise, and helpful, in order to get me, and my team, started with the app.
I had a Miro representative in my company, that was ready to help us with any questions or problems we could encounter.
I used Miro nearly daily with my project, and the Jira integration helped me to better organize my team.

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI feature was a bit odd, I felt like the Gen AI would produce weak results (I wanted ilustrations, schemas), and it was better to go to another service (like ChatGPT or Gemini) and generate my images and stuff there.
I showed a presentation using the Slides feature, but I disliked that the only export format was ".pdf". In needed the ".pptx" format, and for that I had to use different workarounds to convert the pdf and edit it, which was time consuming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me better manage my team, with fun and interactive features (like dot voting, which is a good ice breaker during the beginning of a project), with collaborative stuff (many people can edit and contribute to the same docs, tables, they can connect them nicely, and more). It has integration with popular project management tools (like Jira), which is a nice have.
Very useful for collaborative project planning and understanding
What do you like best about the product?
In our team, we use miro to plan out projects and form a common understanding. It's freeform approach helps us to come up with creative solutions, challenge each other and document along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The zoom functionality on web does not zoom in on the center, and goes too fast when scrolling quickly.

An Essential Tool for Client-Facing IT Consulting
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro extensively in my IT consulting work, especially when mapping out "As-Is" and "To-Be" system flows for clients. The platform stands out in two key areas. First, for internal preparation, it allows our team to easily draft complex flows and take advantage of its robust commenting and collaboration features, which helps us get ready for client meetings efficiently. Second, during live client workshops, Miro truly shines. The ability to present the board directly to clients and incorporate their feedback in real time sets it apart. This kind of live, interactive modification simply isn't possible with traditional tools like PowerPoint, and it makes our workshops significantly more productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the tool is undeniably powerful, there are several areas where improvements could greatly enhance our workflow. Navigational disorientation is a common issue on very large and complex boards; after frequent zooming in and out, it's easy to lose track of your position. Introducing a more prominent or persistent mini-map would be a valuable addition to help users stay oriented. Another limitation is the lack of granular view permissions. We often need to selectively hide certain elements, such as internal notes or works-in-progress, when presenting to clients. At the moment, our only option is to create separate, cleaned-up boards, which is not an efficient solution. Additionally, the absence of a direct export-to-PowerPoint feature poses a significant challenge. Many of our enterprise clients still require final deliverables in .pptx format for their internal processes, so having to manually recreate our work in PowerPoint is a considerable time sink.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Problem Solved: Inefficient Client Communication with Static Documents
In the past, using static materials such as PowerPoint during client meetings made it challenging to incorporate feedback and requests directly into diagrams like system flows in real time. This often led to additional work, as notes from discussions had to be taken back, changes made separately, and then reconfirmed with the client later. This process slowed down consensus-building and made meetings less productive.
Benefit Delivered: Increased Meeting Productivity and Faster Consensus Through Real-Time Collaboration
With Miro, diagrams can be edited and updated instantly while sharing the same board with the client. This real-time collaboration removes misunderstandings and encourages interactive, two-way discussions. As a result, agreements can be reached more smoothly during meetings, which accelerates project timelines and enhances client satisfaction.
2. Problem Solved: Inefficient Internal Collaboration on Visual Materials
When preparing materials such as business flowcharts for clients, the internal review and feedback process was often slow and cumbersome. Exchanging files via email, collecting comments, making revisions, and resending documents took considerable time and effort.
Benefit Delivered: Improved Team Efficiency and Higher Quality Deliverables Through Intuitive Collaboration
Miro’s infinite canvas and robust commenting features enable team members to work together seamlessly in a single shared space. This supports effective collaboration from the earliest stages of preparation, increasing the team's overall efficiency. Additionally, the ease of gathering and integrating diverse feedback helps to enhance the final quality of deliverables.

Brainstorm & project heaven
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the collaborative, asynchronous approach, as well as the features that make it easy to run projects remotely while still ensuring that everyone’s input is recognized. Great templates too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Just wish I had more time to use it more. Can slow down my computer sometimes using the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Houses all my customer and operational processes and maps.
Closest thing to a "real" whiteboard with some extra perks
What do you like best about the product?
Like a regular phsyical whiteboard, Miro has a wide variety of options for representing your ideas, including some that I consider better than a normal whiteboard, e.g.: infinite canvas, copy/paste, multiple data formats, controlled voting, and attribution (knowing who did what).
What do you dislike about the product?
Things can become really cluttered. Since it's organized around the canvas -- which is a relatively unstructured space -- you have to create the structure you need. Every time. I use templates and blueprints to help with this, however, it's still necessary for me to guide people ("start here") who aren't familiar with the format I'm using. This is especially true when I'm sharing boards across the team. Many times, people weren't involved in the original work, so I have to be extra careful about keeping it organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm focused on information architecture. Oftentimes, I need to express abstract ideas in a way that others can easily understand. Miro helps me do this by providing a variety of tools -- I use stickies and shapes + text most often -- along with just enough control over styles to get my point across.
