Ideation to presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great for thinking out loud. I can create inspiration boards of thoughts and images and "show my work". My team can refer back to past iterations, copy and paste reference documents. We've started to use it to build slide presentations and "books" together.
What do you dislike about the product?
A busy board can get really unruly (and slow) over time, espcially when there are lots of images. I've tried to organize our team boards chronologically (left to right) and topically (top and bottom registers) so we can find content more easily over time. Also, the more that we use Miro to develop presentations, the more I find the design options are lacking. It would be great if Miro could take a few notes from Keynote when it comes to shapes and tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time collaboration with team members
Excellent tool for all your business diagrams and code flow charts
What do you like best about the product?
Its as easy as drag and drop and more efficent with multiple export and collaboration options. This is one of the finesh sites I used and loved so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me a while to figure out how to share it with my team member, and I think this process definitely needs improvement to make sharing with others easier. Additionally, I believe there should be more free options available without requiring payment or a monthly subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flow charts of the business work flow and the code flow charts were the most used for me and those are done in minutes with this tools.
Easy yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is our go-to tool for visualisering workstreams, processes, projects etc. Anything can be visualised in a super easy and quick fashion and collaborated on. It saves us a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all tools there are potential improvements. It is not as detailed in Kanban as dedicated Kanban tools for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Especially drawing processes is made quick and easy and collaborative.
Good experience overall, can be improved with some tweaks
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very responsive and works well for collaborative projects. I occasionally use FigJam instead of Miro, mainly because I already use Figma for my workflows and can quickly switch over to FigJam. The interface is straightforward and easy to use, though I have experienced some issues in the past where I accidentally deleted content a bit too easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tables take too long to load, which sometimes makes me think they were deleted previously. This leads me to check the version history and download the table to restore it, only to find a duplicate because the original was actually still there. Occasionally, I would prefer that others not see where my cursor is pointing—could there be an option to hide my cursor? Additionally, the toolbar often shifts unexpectedly from the bottom to the left side, which can be confusing. Lastly, is there a quick way to add temporary comments for discussions with others, similar to what FigJam offers?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick dirty ideating with multiple people before going to a more matured version in a presentation. Endless space to work in is great compared to powerpoints
A great app for colaboration and project managment
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is how simple it makes brainstorming, organizing, and creating moodboards. There are so many features that help my team and me collaborate efficiently and stay productive together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like ho the free version is limited to 3 boards per account but i understand why it is like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a game developer, I find that Miro allows us to create documentation, brainstorm ideas, build art moodboards, organize tables, and design diagrams to map out how the game will function. Thanks to Miro, we can accomplish all of this within a single app while collaborating together in real time. This means we have everything we need in one place, which saves us a significant amount of time.
Intuitive, Visual, and Invaluable for Artists
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and visual Miro is, making it very easy to use without any setup difficulties. The software enhances artistic communication by allowing me to create and share boards visually. I find the sticky notes feature incredibly useful for collecting team feedback, and overall, Miro's capabilities stand out as there aren't any alternatives matching its functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have the possibility to load bigger pages with more assets loaded on it. Now the page moves very slow when I get lots more items
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me convey my artistic ideas visually to others by creating shareable boards, overcoming communication challenges and facilitating team feedback.
Experiences using Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Most of the times using Miro is smooth, intuitive and a quick way to put down ideas and documentation. Conducting remote user interviews / usability testings have succeeded as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
From time to time the vast amount of content starts to slow down the board and content should be divided into multiple boards which is a bit of a bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having notes and documentation in a single place where all the needed stakeholders have access is the most crucial part.
Miro for process design
What do you like best about the product?
If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be ease. As a startupper, I am responsible for designing processes that will lay the groundwork for my startup's operations. The simplicity and user-friendliness of Miro truly make my work much easier and more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the design becomes too wide, I find it somewhat time-consuming to use the sliding bars on the side and at the bottom. It would be helpful to have a more efficient way to navigate the design without relying on these bars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been instrumental in helping me map out the different processes within my startup across various operational areas. By providing a comprehensive overview, it allows me to gain a high-level perspective of each process, which in turn helps me analyze and understand them more quickly through improved visualization.
I like Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I like how connected it is. It's easy to access across all of my O365 tools. It's also got a lot of functionality so it's easy to use for everything
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Other than that it isn't free since I do have a "Whiteboard" through Teams for free. But Miro is a better tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helps our teams align on ideas. We have a lot of people who are more visual so it's a way to speak multiple languages to get your point across to any audience
Great platform for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro to be a great place to collaborate with others. It's easy to set up new workspaces and boards and really make the space your own. I like that they have added a document feature for those times when you need to add in longer text that is formatted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tables or spreadsheet-like formats do not work well and feel very restrictive. Templates can be a challenge as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration is easier with Miro than other MS apps and it's free form nature allows for endless possibilities.
