Miro for startup team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an essential everyday tool for our team. We're a busy distributed startup team that have to move very fast yet stay aligned while being split over two continents and 3 different countries. Miro acts as our collective thinking space. It's flexibility as a collaboration space makes it ideal for being used as a collective thinking space, including asynchronously. The Miro team have been responsive to us although we didn't really need any material support using the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
One small issue we had was with the zoom level on one of the boards becoming too small. We simply fixed that by creating another board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective collaboration is the main thing for us, especially as we are a distributed team. We use other tools like Jira/Confluence/M365, but Miro is our go to "collective thinking space"

What do you like best about the product?
What I truly appreciate about Miro is its outstanding user experience—it’s remarkably intuitive, visually streamlined, and simple to navigate, even for those just starting out. Each feature seems carefully crafted, and I value how Miro offers a tool or add-on for nearly every imaginable need. The extensive range of templates and integrations makes it a highly adaptable platform, suitable for both professional and personal projects. For example, while I regularly use it for work collaboration and brainstorming, I also recently turned to Miro for a personal home renovation. I was able to upload my house blueprint directly into Miro, which made it effortless to plan furniture arrangements, design new electrical outlet placements, and visualize the setup for smart home devices. Having the ability to combine visuals, notes, and links on a single board made the whole process smooth and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few minor frustrations I’ve encountered. The first is an occasional drag-and-drop bug: when I try to drag an image onto the board, instead of uploading, Miro sometimes opens the image in a new Chrome tab. While it’s a small issue, it does break the flow, especially when I’m in a creative or planning mindset. Another area that could use improvement is navigation on very large boards. As boards become more complex, moving around can feel a bit cumbersome. Zooming in and out helps, but the experience isn’t always as smooth as I’d like. I think it would be fantastic if Miro offered a way to save specific positions or coordinates on the board—essentially bookmarks—so users could quickly jump between different sections without having to scroll or zoom manually. Although sharing frames via links is possible, having a built-in shortcut system for personal navigation would make a significant difference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves one of the biggest challenges in both work and personal projects — bringing clarity and structure to complex, collaborative ideas. It provides a digital space where I can visualize workflows, brainstorm with others, and organize information in a way that’s both creative and easy to navigate. At work, Miro helps my team align quickly without long back-and-forths. We use it to map out project timelines, design customer journeys, and capture brainstorming sessions in real time. Because everything is visual and interactive, it keeps everyone engaged and makes it easier to spot connections and gaps that might not be obvious in traditional documents or slide decks.

If you don't wacht out boards get a little out of control and you lose oversight. Good thing there is an AI integration and templates!

What do you like best about the product?
I have been a long-time user of Miro. However, I recently used it on one of my projects where the client team was using it for the first time. They found it pretty easy to use, and, hence, made the collaboration on the project very effective.

Collaboration booster for cross-team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an essential tool for us to create new ideas and develop them to a state of implementation. I use it every day. From a simple list, mind map and whiteboard to business model canvas and wireframes, it gives you a solution for whatever need you have to create, manage and optimize. The new AI capabilities are an additional productivity gain. Miroverse is an additional vast resource of great templates, ideas and places to start off from.
I cannot say much about Miro's customer support, as I have not experienced it so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
I tried using the developers environment as a non technical user and have so far not succeeded. I think there is room for improvement to help users integrate and automate Miro boards to create real workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro brings together all the necessary information for the development of business and product ideas at one place, where we used to have multiple applications and hundreds of files. we went from working sequentially, to live collaboration and rapid development.
