A Must-Have Collaboration Tool for Remote and Hybrid Teams

  • August 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Miro for over 4 months now, and honestly, I can’t imagine running workshops or brainstorming sessions without it anymore. As someone who works in tech consulting, I’m constantly collaborating with clients and internal teams across different locations—and Miro has made that process so much smoother.

What I love:

The interface is super intuitive. You don’t need a manual to get started just jump in and start creating.

Real-time collaboration is a game-changer. Whether it’s sprint planning or mapping out a new solution architecture, everyone can contribute at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes.

The templates are a huge time-saver. I’ve used everything from customer journey maps to retrospectives, and they’re all well-designed and customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few things to improve:

When boards get really large, performance can take a hit. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of.

Pricing can be a bit steep if you’re scaling across a big team, especially if not everyone uses it regularly.

Navigation can be clunky: Zooming and panning around big boards isn’t always smooth, and it’s easy to get lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualize complex ideas whether it’s system architecture, user journeys, or project timelines—in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand and contribute to.
Keep momentum going asynchronously, which is huge when working with global teams or clients who aren’t always available at the same time.

Miro Review

What do you like best about the product?
I recently used Miro for one of my clients, I found it user friendly and was able to build the HLD and LLD's for AWS. I also liked the presenter mode of Miro which helps you present architecture diagram interactively with all the participants. I also tried import and export feature and it was really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to refine AI feature, could not get the diagrams as I wished. Tried with multiple prompts but did not create HLD as anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One platform to create various diagrams, it has good integration with other tools so it is easier to import and export without doing the rework.
I liked the collaboration features, it was easier to present the digram, participants can also share add their comments, nice way to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Fast, modern, convenient tool pretty much for everything

What do you like best about the product?
It works like a real boards with a plenty of tools and layers. It is good for design because I can edit textx, fonts, borders, shapes, anything. Beautiful creative tool and choice of colours make it applicable for designing worksheets for students and even books from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes gets stuck (glitches): it starts reloading and some things might not be saved. It happends from 3-5 times a day (8-9 hours of work).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a space for me and my students/clients. We can do everything we need for collaboration.

    Management Consulting

Great visual tool for planning - mapping

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro helps me visually see what my workflows, thought processes look like so I can make adjustments before taking it live into other tools like a software flow, a presentation, a workflow. The fact it seems to be infinite on each board is a bonus especially as I use it to help clients through multiple ideas / opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The file management process takes a little getting used to. Trying to figure out what is mine or someone else's boards and how I use that - also the process of inviting folks in sometimes does not work. Other technologies like sharing links inside a workflow can be inconsistent, although this may not be Miro's fault
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laying out my business and my client's business ideas visually.

    Financial Services

Perfect for remote projects

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to collaborate and visually present topics, as well as to represent dependencies and develop structures. I regularly use Miro for digital workshops, but also to visualize my projects. Miro supports me in representing complex relationships and processes, which I can implement very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is not very intuitive at the beginning, but once you get more familiar with it, you quickly get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Processes are not documented or are very complexly written, so Miro helps to break down and visualize the complexity. In digital workshops, ideas can be worked on together with Miro.

What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for building workflows and getting colleagues to review, I am able to share and control how i share
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of real world examples that would help the use of types of templates. Printing or sending to PDF is difficult, i had to use frames to do this not sure why but that seems the best way. and only found out by accident
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its getting the picture of how our Business operations process work which is great and having discussion points with the team.
