Miro is my daily work fellow

  • September 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really love it because it does exactly what I expect. It allows me to quickly draw my thoughts or jot down notes, and it helps me organize them efficiently. Lately, they've also added a lot of AI features that make it even easier to achieve what I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find myself missing a native integration with MD schema tools like mermaid. Having this kind of connection would allow us to create schemas as code, making it easier to keep our documentation up to date with how we actually implement things. This feature would be especially useful, particularly during release cycles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Presenting complex concepts visually helps make them easier to understand. Organizing collections of knowledge by establishing relationships between them allows for better structure and clarity. This approach also makes it possible to learn and share new information quickly.

A great tool to visualize business process flow and collaborate with other team members

  • September 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a simple and user-friendly tool for designing process flows. You can create a board for a specific project, and within that board, you are able to design as many process flows as you need. It also allows you to present the flow directly from Miro. Additionally, you can collaborate easily with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are using the standard version, the exported images are of low quality. Additionally, I have experienced delays when trying to reset my password. Sometimes, after forgetting my password, the reset link does not arrive promptly and it has taken me two to three hours to complete the reset process. While this may have been a temporary issue, it has happened to me a couple of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I design business processes for my client, focusing on understanding their specific needs and objectives. My approach involves analyzing their current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and developing tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Throughout the process, I collaborate closely with my client to ensure that the new processes align with their goals and are practical to implement.

Miro Is a Great Resource for Google Meet Meetings

  • September 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used Miro for a few weeks now as a way to share what I'm writing on my tablet with Google Meet. Google Meet isn't like Zoom where you can connect a tablet via Bluetooth and share what you're writing. Since I'm unable to share my tablet screen directly via my Google Meet, I use Miro to do so. I log into Miro on my computer and my tablet. Then, I share my computer tab on Google Meet. Lastly, I'm able to write out equations and draw diagrams on my tablet that show up in real time on my computer tab!

This is vital for my line of profession. I'm a tutor and academic coach. I support students ranging from elementary school all the way to post-grad studies. I tutor for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), a rigorous, 8-hour exam required for entrance into US medical schools. I also tutor K-12 in core and supplemental subjects such as math, science, language, reading, and writing.

Since both lines of work are 100% remote, Miro has been a lifesaver in helping me work on problems with students, going step by step to ensure they understand what I'm saying/showing. Both forms of tutoring are done on Google Meet, so I'm glad I have free resources like Miro that help me best communicate with and support students.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial pen thickness and depth of the whiteboard was too light and too zoomed out for me to work with. I had to zoom in quite a bit and increase the thickness of the pen to make sure students could see what I was trying to show them. I also had issues with the highlighter. The highlighter should be much thicker. I was trying to highlight the final answer choice, and the thickness of the highlighter was just as thick as the original pen I used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps resolve the issue of me not being able to share my tablet screen with students as a tutor for a large number of students (both youth and adults).

All rounder tool for collaboration and planning

  • September 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy it is to use, and I really enjoy the authentic brainstorming experience it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating boards with a laptop trackpad can be challenging compared to using a mouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform enables brainstorming and allows all team members to collaborate simultaneously, even when working remotely. This feature helps us function more effectively as a team.

It also helps me to organise my thoughts. I can jot it all down on post-it notes without trying to get everything a perfect order. Then I can rearrange. This makes it way more useful than using a Word document for note-taking.

Creative Brainstorming

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The scale of the boards are fantastic, you can have different jobs or themes on the go all within just one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see double-ended arrows to be able to link boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mainly for brainstorming. As a scalable board you can include everything related to what you're working on, then narrow down ideas and create a full workflow.

Great tool for collaborating

  • September 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's mostly intuitive and easy to use. There are plenty of templates to choose from to help set the board up for you. It's easy to share and allows our teams to whiteboard solutions easily. I love that you can easily select the type of access when you share - you can easily say that person can view, edit or comment. I love the graphics and colours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, I find it really difficult to get the arrows perfectly straight. I'm also unsure what I'm doing wrong with frames—when I copy and paste a flow, I occasionally end up with multiple frames that I can't seem to edit, which leaves random lines scattered across my swimlanes. I would really appreciate it if, when creating a new board, there were an option to quickly select my most frequently or most recently used template, instead of having to search for it every time. It would also be helpful if there were a way to share an entire board. Sometimes, after adding more content to a board, I'm not sure who currently has access to all the new information I've included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to capture all my ideas in one place, making it much easier to spot gaps in my thinking, as well as any dependencies or issues I might have overlooked. It also makes it simple to share and validate ideas with my colleagues, which in turn encourages discussions where we can further refine and confirm our concepts.

    Computer Software

Indispensable tool for client projects and internal collaboration

  • September 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We mainly use Miro for larger client projects in software development as well as to visualize internal business processes and for brainstorming sessions. It’s extremely helpful to structure complex ideas in a visual way and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in real time. The wide range of templates makes it easy to get started quickly, and the integrations with tools like Jira or Slack fit perfectly into our daily workflows. For our agency, Miro has become an essential part of both client work and internal team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
For new users, the wide range of features can feel overwhelming at first and requires some time to get used to. However, once the team is familiar with the interface, Miro becomes an intuitive and powerful platform that adds real value to our projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Miro, it was often difficult to align all stakeholders in larger software development projects and keep track of complex processes. Traditional tools or static documents did not allow us to collaborate effectively, especially with remote teams and clients. Miro solves this by providing a shared, visual collaboration space where everyone can contribute ideas, visualize workflows, and work in real time. This reduces misunderstandings, speeds up decision-making, and helps us communicate complex concepts in a simple, visual way. For our agency, this has significantly improved project efficiency and client communication.
