I love using Miro for Complex Discussion and Brainstorming ideas

  • August 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an incredible tool that significantly simplifies both processes and daily life. Its intuitive features allow me to organise and visualise complex ideas, making it easier to collaborate with my team. Additionally, Miro enhances my ability to lead and guide board discussions, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and can contribute effectively. Overall, it has transformed the way we work together, fostering better communication and more productive meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying boards from one company board to another, which I work for both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has truly transformed the way I approach complex ideas and projects. It provides me with a powerful visual framework that allows me to map out intricate concepts clearly. By utilizing Miro, I can develop comprehensive program roadmaps that guide my work and ensure that I break down problems and identify solutions effectively.

One of its greatest advantages is how it facilitates the creation of structured processes that keep my clients aligned and informed throughout our collaboration. Before discovering Miro, I didn't realize I was a visual learner; I had been using an outdated tool like Visio, which felt limiting in comparison.

Miro's intuitive interface has completely revolutionized my workflow. In the past, my previous employer didn't recognize the value of Miro, so I had to purchase it out of my own pocket. This meant I was often working on my personal laptop and dealing with the tedious task of copying and pasting information between platforms. However, the leadership team eventually recognized the significant improvements in our processes that Miro facilitated, demonstrating its immense value in enhancing our project management and client communication.

Miro Tool Functionality & Collaboration with Matt Bowman

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Miro tool has been a game-changer for our team’s planning and collaboration. Its AI features—like clustering, diagramming, and agile coaching—have helped us work smarter and faster. The SSO integration also made access seamless across Telstra

Working with Matt Bowman has been an exceptional experience. He expertly customized Miro’s features to suit our needs, conducted engaging training sessions, and provided clear guidance on governance and best practices. His personal support during our one-on-one coaching sessions has been invaluable, helping me streamline our quarterly planning sessions for maximum productivity to be trailed at our next planning session in a few weeks' time. Matt is always receptive to feedback about the tool and its functionality, and he actively listened to our suggestions, incorporating them to enhance our board's efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would lovvvvve to see as a NEW feature is to be able to export the board from a list/prioritises point of view straight into Jira tickets. This would single handedly reduce the amount of admin it takes to get us 'sprint ready' ……. I'll be singing from the roof tops when that happens!

Thankyou for your support!!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of planning and collabration

Better than classic Whiteboard

  • August 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has improved my daily ways of working. As a technical engineering/lead programme manager, I spent a long time looking for a solution that would allow me, in one place, to create system pipeline visualisations, write code/queries, prepare presentations, plan projects, manage resources, set up networks, and more. Miro has also greatly helped to improve our teamwork, as working and sharing ideas and thoughts in one place is highly beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be better integration with MS Office applications – Excel, Word, etc. The JIRA and AHA! connections, along with visualisation capabilities and data-sharing features, should be improved. GitHub integration would also be highly beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall technology systems pipelines and design strategic solutions.

A Must Use Program for Collaborators

  • August 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of Miro's most powerful features is its infinite canvas. Unlike a physical whiteboard with limited space, Miro allows you to expand your ideas without constraint. This is perfect for brainstorming sessions, where a group can mind map, create flowcharts, or build strategy diagrams all in one shared space. The freedom to zoom in on minute details or zoom out for a high-level overview makes it easy to manage projects of any scale.

Beyond the blank slate, Miro offers a vast library of templates for a wide range of use cases, from agile ceremonies like retrospectives and stand-ups to user journey maps and SWOT analyses. These pre-made frameworks save time and ensure that even the most complex processes are structured and easy to follow. The platform's seamless integrations with popular tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Drive also mean that Miro fits effortlessly into existing workflows, eliminating the need to constantly switch between applications.

The user experience is incredibly intuitive. Miro's interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it accessible for everyone, regardless of their technical skill level. Features like real-time cursors, commenting, and voting tools make synchronous collaboration feel natural, while the ability to work asynchronously means teams can contribute from anywhere, at any time. For any team that values clear communication and wants a single, dynamic space to innovate, Miro is an indispensable asset.
What do you dislike about the product?
One common critique of Miro is that its robust feature set can create a steep learning curve for new users. The sheer number of tools and options can feel a bit overwhelming at first, making it a program that requires some time to get used to before you can really take full advantage of its power.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro excels at solving the problems of fragmented communication and siloed work. In many workplaces, especially with hybrid or remote teams, ideas, feedback, and key documents are scattered across emails, chat threads, and various disconnected applications. Miro provides a single, central hub for all of these things. It's a place where everyone can see the same canvas, at the same time, ensuring that the entire team is aligned and working from a shared understanding. This eliminates the need for endless email chains or searching through chat history to find a crucial piece of information. The most significant benefit is a dramatic improvement in communication and a reduction in the time spent on administrative tasks, allowing more focus on creative work.

For a field like architecture, which is inherently visual and collaborative, Miro is a game-changer. The infinite canvas is perfect for the initial, messy stages of a project. I can start with a central concept and then mind map outwards, adding sticky notes, images, and links to research without any spatial limitations. This process helps to organize early-stage thoughts, identify key themes, and ensure that all stakeholders' ideas are captured and considered.
