Simple and Efficient

  • June 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, so much that one never feels they have to put in extra effort. Shapes, frames and adding texts is super simple. Turn the arrow to anywhere you want and to top it all off, you can use AI to get fully prepared concept maps or diagrams. And Miro supports all sorts of stuff like UML diagrams etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI, at times generates very complex things when asked to get more work done, so its better to get small chunks in such cases. Length or extent of answer could be an additional option for using AI generation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its easier to work together with others using Miro, and there is seamless integration of what both users are doing on a shared board. Group work being done remotely was never this fun.

One of the easiest whiteboard tools to use

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is super easy to get sticky note comments going and use shapes/pre-created diagrams to create flows or guide collaborative brainstorming sessions. I've used it from brainstorming product requirements to guiding branding exercises and retros.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was less restrictive templates. I like the ideas of a lot of templates, but they come locked in a way that makes it hard to adjust them for your specific use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have Google suite and there is not a specific tool Google has in Drive that does what Miro provides. Miro is just easier to drop into the lap of a collaborator and show how to use than trying to create some custom setup in Lucid or a word doc.

Miro is Goto tool for visual collaboration

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Intuitive Interface
Miro’s UI is user-friendly and clean. Even new users can quickly figure out how to add sticky notes, shapes, connectors, or templates. The drag-and-drop functionality makes it easy to start creating immediately.

2. Excellent Real-Time Collaboration
Miro shines when it comes to real-time teamwork. Multiple users can contribute simultaneously, and changes are reflected instantly. It also supports features like cursors with names, comments, and video chat—ideal for distributed teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can Get Overwhelming
With so many features and a vast open canvas, boards can become cluttered, especially if not well-organized. Larger teams may find it challenging to manage board sprawl.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro features a clean, intuitive interface that makes it easy for new users to jump in without training. Whether you're adding sticky notes, drawing flowcharts, or choosing from pre-built templates, everything can be done with simple drag-and-drop actions.
Easy for collaboration and whiteboarding with users don't know this tool

What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to be quite expensive once you get to a certain level and you need multiple licences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless real-time collaboration

Huge library of templates

Intuitive UX, even for non-designers

What do you like best about the product?
I love the post its, and everyday we can see a lot of compaby members (even they are not designer as I'am) using Miro. We can use the timer, the dashboard is giant! For me as a product designer, is essential on a daily basis. Also it is online, thats good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some components are hard to find, but sometimes you just need to ask someone for support — in a few minutes, you become 'the expert'."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For brainstorms, and when im working as a note taker. Cant imagine other plattaform.

Great tool for PI Planning

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate in real time with hundreds of users on a board
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly web based and frequent performance issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is our north star when it comes to whiteboarding and diagramming. They are very agile when it comes to rolling out new features especially with AI. It could very well be a competitor for office suite in coming years. Miro helps our users brainstorm and plan effeciently whether it is online meeting or in person collaboration spaces.

Perfect tool to animate workshop

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy with a Miro bord is the feeling of having all information in one big picture. When running a workshop with multiple stakeholders, it's also a good tool to create attractive visuals and gather everyone around the table to move forward. Indeed, everyone has the ability to write and create while I can keep the control on the workshop (for exemple, the ability to lock specific elements and drive stakeholders to create/build in a dedicated zone).
What do you dislike about the product?
I used a lot this tool to structure my UX research from benchmarking to user test results. It was easy to "connect the dots" and ideate better design outcomes. Unfortunately, while the number of projects increased, I couldn't manage to use the data accros files. Indeed, the only missing feature of Miro is the ability to create a tag system across all files, that would help to identify specifics data and reuse it into new projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro allows me to have all information in one big picture and ideate better my projects (it's easier to see problematics from different perspectives)
It's also putting an end to endless meetings and emails conversations, as you can gather everyone around the table for a live or asynchronous workshop, with real outcomes at the end. For me, Miro is means time saving and better design outcomes.

Intuitive user experience and strong functionalities for my needs

  • June 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's quite quick to load and respond. I don't often notice lags. The AI summary features are awesooome! I have been using them a lot to gather key themes from workshops. I mainly use it as a whiteboard feature so can't speak to presenting in it, and don't often use the timer/music features for workshops. The core features and shapes for process mapping are quite easy to use compared to other tools I've tried. I often get great feedback on their clarity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Management of boards. There can get to be a long list of them but with no way to organize them within a project. At least not that I've seen! I also wish there was a safe way to work offline. Currently I cannot do work in the board and have it upload later. Perhaps that's a versioning safeguard but I wish there was a way it could work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Guiding my thoughts in meetings, allowing for virtual collaboration and brainstorming to aid in remote work, and provides a creative space for deep thinking and deep work.

Miro has everything I need for every project

  • June 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's accessible to everyone on my team (PM, analyst, engineers, etc) and that it's easily embedded into Teams, so I can use it for everything from discovery with my team to multi-proram workshop facilitation, as well as documentation and note-taking for myself. All of the features are intuitive, and I love the variety of templates as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest pain point I have is with copying larger sections or frames. For ex, I use the same template for our team retro every week, and it's often a pain to copy and paste all the elements by individually clicking them. I also don't like that it says "copy of", because I have to go in and change them each time. I also do not think the directions for the dot voting on the template I use are very clear; I can't figure out how to start the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, it's helping us visualize our insights from discovery and align on which opportunities to after next.
