One place to do a lot of stuff
What do you like best about the product?
As a software/data engineer, I find Miro to be an incredibly useful tool for collaboration, data architecture planning, and workflow visualization. Here’s why it stands out:
Excellent for Data Pipeline Design – Miro’s infinite canvas makes it easy to map out ETL workflows, data flow diagrams, and architecture blueprints. The drag-and-drop functionality helps in quickly structuring data pipelines before implementation.
Great for Team Collaboration – Real-time collaboration allows seamless brainstorming sessions with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. No more back-and-forth emails—just instant updates.
Apart from the above, I am now using Miro for my presentations too :) Unlike Powerpoint, it is much easy to put a lot of stuff there for presentation.
In short, it’s a powerful whiteboarding and architecture planning tool that improves team productivity as it is very easy and light to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Can Get Cluttered – If multiple people work on a board without proper organisation, it can become a bit messy. Keeping a structured approach is key.
However, one can overcome the above by using a structured approach.

What do you dislike about the product?
switching between right click and left click i believe there is something better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking the project pipline especially data engineering projects
Used Miro since it first came out. It is my most used app for work.
What do you like best about the product?
I’m a power user, spending several hours daily on Miro. As a product manager, I primarily use the post-it note tools to organize ideas and synthesize insights from customer interviews. I’ve tested alternatives like Mural, but Miro stands out for its glitch-free performance, intuitive UX, and seamless sharing—making it easy for clients and colleagues to adopt with minimal guidance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no major improvement suggestions—Miro meets all my needs. However, small tweaks like custom post-it colors, more text-fitting options, and additional post-it shapes could enhance flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Ability to move around and 'group' ideas to help structure thoughts and raw data into insigths
- shareable and collaborative outputs with colleagues.clients
- organising ideas effectively
- I am a visual processor and cannot achieve the above on standard word processing tools

Flexible tool to get ideas across and to collaborate.
What do you like best about the product?
The vast canvas, and the ability to add in multiple types of graphical elements. Easy and intuitive to use, without having to cross over too many hoops. Far exceeds the competition in terms of simultaneous collaboration for most work scenarios that need to be done across locations. Such as - brainstorming, conducting review sessions, voting on ideas, etc. I use this not only within my team, but also for cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I'm over-awed by the tool's UI prowess and collaboration capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to visualize in an intuitive way for most workflows where collaboration across multiple people are needed.
Best tool for planning at early stage
What do you like best about the product?
Same board can be used commonly within team.
What do you dislike about the product?
it is little slow when we all opens up together during the same meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is solving the major issue where we get all different team member's idea on any new implementation
Collaboration Between New Business Partners
What do you like best about the product?
I really liked the opportunity for each person on our team to have their own colored sticky note. I like the variety (though I would ask for more color options even) of colors to use. I like being able to grab and move groups. And, I just started using different template options. But, most significant is the ability for our team to be on the board at separate and multiple times and also working together to move items around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I got lost in the connecting arrows but I figured it out after a bit. I would also ask you to allow for text orientation on the arrow with text in it. If I point the arrow from left to right, the orientation is correct but when flipped, I couldn't figure out how to turn the text so that it wasn't upside down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mind mapping/dumping. Grouping ideas and the working out of those ideas. I really like being able to enlarge the space as we grow the idea.
How miro helps me track every project in a fast and visual way
What do you like best about the product?
I am Product Manager, and today I manage more than 8 projects in the same time. The main value for me, is that I can see every update and concepts in the same page.
- I use a lot of sticky notes to track fast thinking, and connect them with arrows.
- I use cards, kanban and timeline to communicate stakeholders and manage tasks.
- I like to user every kind of forms to show ideas and wireframes.
- I update my boards every day, and encorouge every team member to create and update boards.
- Mindmaps also help me to structure ideas and transform simple thoughts into actions.
- I use doccuments to track important changes to report my leaders.
- Oftenly I use boards to direct internal and external dynamics.
The way Miro helps me visualizing everything linked, makes me feel really confortable.
I never needed support since day one. The software is easy to start and share.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only think that block me is the feature table. The feature is pretty nice for simple listing, but there is no formula into it. If there is a way to import Google Sheets, in a way that users can calculate things, it would be the perfect productivity tool. Notion is a pretty good app that can make it, but the sense of freedom in Miro is way bigger.
