Miro gives you endless options to structure your thoughts in a well-designed image.

What do you like best about the product?
No template feels too rigid, but it can be optimised to one's needs. There is always a template for one's needs. I do appreciate the ease of customisation due to an intuitive user interface. Specific options are always at your fingertips. For example, cutting an image into a certain shape is very quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan feels limiting because it only gives you three boards to work on. As an individual (not a part of a team), I think more than that would be appropriate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows creating extensive mindmaps in a dynamic way. It's dynamic character adjusts nodes and vertices automatically. This way, I do not need to readjust them manually, which is a major benefit compared to other software. The open work space also enables unrestricted creativity especially when you do not know how your mindmap or whatever looks like.

Great boards for brainstorming

  • November 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive use. We use it both for quick spontaneous brainstorming and discussions as a visual aid.
Also has great features for bigger decisions where async discussion and preparation could be useful, like hiding sections of the board or making the post-its invisible until uncovered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it is hard to find the board that you created in quick brainstorming session couple of weeks ago, unless you gave it a good name.
Also, the connector arrows occasionally don't want to go straigt, no matter how hard you try to align the two endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to quickly iterate ideas where a proper wireframe would be too cumbersome to make.

MIRO AS A BUSINESS COLLABORATION PLATFORM

  • November 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro provides a wonderful visual way to demonstrate ideas and share information about projects.
The interface is very flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to publish information through a webpage for collaboration with guests.
Although one can invite guests to a Miro Board, new users have to learn how to navigate in a Miro Board.
Ideally, Miro should allow the creation of webpages with secure login for "guests" (perhaps based on frames), with automatic links between items and an easier way for guests to comment or collaborate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me create visual demonstrations and explanations of business strategies and goals.
It benefits my executive team, as everyone can keep track of what is going on in the company.

Review/Thoughts on Miro

  • November 14, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Miro boards are infinite so I don't ever have to worry about having to squeeze everything in in such a tiny space and having to make things super small so that it will all fit within the boundaries of the board. Even if I do have to make things small, it's nice that I can easily zoom in on any part of the board to view those components. This makes Miro a great platform for brainstorming and creating concept maps and org charts!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like the least about Miro is that it's not always that easy to add lines/connectors to shapes in that it often creates another shape/terminator on the other end of the line/connector automatically, which I'd have to delete manually right after.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is providing us with a great platform to create our revised org chart!

Great tool to work collaboratively within teams

  • November 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for many years now and still use it on a daily basis. It is a great way to collaborate on projects with others through a smooth UX and simple UI, making it implementable and usable for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed the web version works smoother than the dedicated app, which seems a bit strange. Also, since I'm not a designer, I don't have access to dedicated design applications, so a simple way to edit images would be very welcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company it is THE tool for collaborative work. Everyone across different teams has access, making collaborative work very easy. Especially when working with teams that are not in the same location, it enables a great way to work together online.

Great product... but a little costly

  • November 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It "just works". Interface is easy to understand and infinitely flexible. I had to learn Miro hard during corona times and it's since become invaluable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
It really is awfully expensive. I don't know why y'all have to be so mean. I am a very small company and Miro is not an insignificant ding on my expenses. I also hate subscription models and find them utterly predatory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a team of artists and Miro helps me both brainstorm and roadmap with them. They understand it already from their work, so it's easy to use.

All in one place. So it's easy to access projects and keep them organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very bad. I dislike how it is not integrated into my calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a team together for updates and project mapping.

Miro is a go to tool in every step of my working proces

  • November 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It can convert data from Excel to stickynotes, that's very helpful when I want to do a research analysis from my notes I have taken in Excel. Also like the new AI options
What do you dislike about the product?
In my company it isn't available for every co-worker, so that makes it sometimes a bit harder to work in this together
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visalize data on a easy way, collaberate with others (hybrid or online)

Productivity boost for virtual teams

  • November 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers a dynamic, interactive whiteboard that truly supports collaboration, especially for remote and distributed teams. Its versatility for brainstorming, project planning, and visual collaboration has transformed how we work. The ability to customize templates and integrate with tools like Microsoft Teams and Slack makes it incredibly adaptive for different workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lack of integration into the M365 ecosystem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the challenge of remote team collaboration by providing a seamless, interactive environment where team members can brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas in real time, no matter where they’re located. Before Miro, it was hard to replicate the feel of in-person whiteboarding sessions in a digital space, but Miro bridges that gap effectively. Its tools support structured and unstructured collaboration, which is essential for everything from ideation sessions to agile sprint planning. For me, this means faster decision-making, reduced misunderstandings, and a more engaged team overall, as everyone can contribute and interact directly with the content. It has become an invaluable tool in our remote workflow, enhancing productivity and making meetings far more effective.
