Miro is the perfect tool for designers who need to colloborate with others

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to work from home! Before Miro existed, our workspace consisted of a cork board with active projects living on it. It was constantly being updated in person (because that was the only option). Now that Miro exists, we can be more sustainable, use less paper and work from home! I LOVE Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
When a board is full of pictures- it can be glitchy and "blackout" for a few seconds. My IT guy has tried switching platforms but the problem still exists. I'd love to work with someone at Miro on problemsolving this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows people from outside our organization to colloborate with us without having to be in a physicall room together. This is what we were missing in the fashion industry!

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very remote-friendly and allows endless collaboration with colleagues across different locations and time zones. Also, we can integrate with many applications like Google Workspace, Teams Slack, and many more.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me all looks good, they are doing well and frequently update when the industry grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is highly remote-friendly, enabling seamless collaboration with colleagues across diverse locations and time zones. Its integration with tools like Google Workspace, Teams, and Slack facilitates the visual generation of creative ideas and concepts.

Real Time Team Collaboration

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple team members can work simultaneously on the same board and provide feedback which helps them to make good decisions. Also, this will help us to integrate with multiple tools like Slack, teams, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
All good, but compare to desktop version, mobile version has some less features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple team members can work simultaneously on the same board and provide feedback which helps them to make good decisions. Also, this will help us to integrate with multiple tools like Slack, teams, etc. This is contributing more than what I expect because this is flexible to use for team members even if they are at remote work.

Miro for In Person or Remote Collaboration

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro enables our design team to collaborate simultaneously, whether we’re working together in person with our laptops or remotely from different locations.

We use Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable for our remote team members. We use Miro paired with other video conferencing apps, and it keeps everyone on the same page, no matter where they’re working from.

Getting started with Miro is fairly intuitive. You can quickly jump in to add sticky notes or other annotations on designs, upload images, or even run a poll to vote on a design direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has quite a few buttons to scroll through, especially when trying to find the upload option under the Tools/Media/Integrations section. Our team doesn’t really need some of the extra buttons (t-shirt sizing, AWS Cloud, or GIFs) which can make the extra tools interface feel a bit cluttered. That said, drag-and-drop functionality works as a alternative, and we just realized you can also pin the upload button for easier access.

It would be helpful if there were more customization options to hide or rearrange tools based on what a team actually uses.

Occasionally, we’ve run into issues with our boards getting too cluttered when a lot of people are working on them simultaneously, but the ability to organize content into frames or sections could likely help with this as we use Miro more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have remote workers spread across 6 countries and various timezones. Collaboration sometimes happens live on the same time, but at other times there is a delay in how we communicate. We rely on Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable, as well as being able to chack back later for more clear direction.

Perfect tool for visual planners

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a white-board with superpowers. I can easily go from brainstorming/note-taking in a meeting to actually creating guidelines and sharing it in all-hands with the rest of the company. It's super easy to start using it and to get more team members on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, not everyone is familiar with it. The AI features could work with less content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro enables me to plan and think visually, making it easier to share my ideas and capture input from others more effectively and clearly. This guarantees alignment.

A Powerful Tool for Streamlining Collaboration

  • December 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro being one of our key asset for managing collaborative inputs from different projects in my role. Especially I manage (4) different countries. It's straight forward UI and flexibility makes it easy to map out workflows, brainstorm ideas, and keep each countries aligned-whether working remotely or in person
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only create 3 boards at Free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MIRO helps me address the challenges of handling different team and countries. Especially team collaboration and project alignment. It helps a lot with the endless back-and-forth emails, chats or silo'ed feedbacks by providing a centralized spaces for brainstorming, planning, and organizing ideas visually.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is so quick and easy to use.
Building on a foundation idea is fun, simple, and addictive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because our team is constantly refining ideas and coming up with new angles, it's great to be able to check in, update, and be on the same page easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a remote team, all gifted creators. Collaborating and sharing ideas so efficiently is a game changer.

A big fan of Miro

  • December 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has always ridden the line between having massively deep featuresets as well as being easily adoptable by new users. It does the basics really well, but scales to some pretty complex needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Miro has grown, it's also kept changing the UI, and UX. Some of those changes feel like they take things backwards, and there is a constant need to re-learn the interface after every update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Miro for all sorts of purposes, largely around collaboration, as well as visual note-taking from various meetings, activities, or strategies.

Perfect for those who can't quite do structure

  • December 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro gives you an infinfite canvas. Think somethings related to something else? Bam, pop it right next to it, zoom in, zoom out, you can do whatever you like.

This is great for remote teams as well, you can put cursors on and watch everyone work, it feels like youre all in it together
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres a few features which tools like Jira or confluence have that Miro is lagging a little bit behind in, but new features are coming out weekly and its making great tracks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me run my squad with project plans, user journeys and insights all cpayured on one page
