What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been an incredibly useful tool for brainstorming, collaboration, and visualizing complex ideas. What I appreciate most is its user-friendly interface and flexibility. It offers a wide variety of templates and tools that cater to different project needs, from mind mapping and strategy planning to flowcharts and agile workflows. The real-time collaboration feature allows my team to work seamlessly, regardless of our physical locations, and the integration with other tools like Slack and Google Drive streamlines our workflow. Additionally, Miro’s infinite canvas provides the freedom to explore creative ideas without limitations.
The biggest advantage of using Miro is its ability to bring teams together in an engaging and interactive way. It enhances productivity by reducing the need for multiple apps and keeps all project-related information in one place. The visual aspect of Miro makes complex data easy to understand, and the drag-and-drop functionality simplifies creating professional-looking diagrams. Its versatility is unmatched, making it suitable for individuals and teams across various industries.

Overall, I would rate Miro 9/10. It’s an excellent platform that has significantly improved how we collaborate and organize our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Boards with heavy content can occasionally lag, impacting performance. The search functionality could be more intuitive, especially when navigating large boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me tackle complex business challenges by offering a visual and collaborative platform. It simplifies brainstorming sessions, making it easier to generate and organize ideas with my team, even when working remotely. The platform has streamlined our customer journey mapping, allowing us to better understand pain points and improve our strategies. Additionally, it has significantly enhanced communication and alignment within our team by providing a shared space for real-time collaboration. Overall, Miro has improved our efficiency, creativity, and decision-making processes.

I love the concept! But are companies ready for it?

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great to show ideas, and have all documents in one place.
Its visually very interesting and dynamic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying and pasting sometimes its a challenge, sometimes only the content is copied and the the slide itself doenst go together. Aligning each slide is also a challenge sometimes and the naming can be annoying. Once I created a slide called 2024, and the copy and paste made 2025, 2026... I had to rename them each one individually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like having all documents visually in one place. I really think its a nice way and space to have it for my clients. However, having as PDF can also be challenging when they want it to be documented.

Miro grows with your needs

  • December 20, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
Miro can be as big or as little as you need it to be. The great thing is that it's always evolving and providing tweaks and updates to help you work and plan better. Whether it's a 3rd party plugin or new core features, Miro adapts to how you work and then helps you work better.
It's easy to get team members involved in the board we're working on and has been integrated well in our enterprise environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, most of the things that bothered me about Miro previously have been fixed. I'd suggest that it may be wary of bloat - but with their customer-focussed approach to product enhancement, I feel Miro will always change for the better.
The only thing which might need improving is the fact that boards can be created too easily and you can end up with a bunch of half-baked files - so hopefully they find a solution to managing hierarchy and priority of boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote-based team we need a way to share ideas and work together easily. Miro helps us achieve that.

Organized and efficient use & sharing of data across departments.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of data that can be shared amongst anyone that has access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Comment tags are confusing after the update. I preferred seeing new tags as a red mark alert. Comment tags are easily missed as they appear clustered on top of each other without a clear indication that a new tag was made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and efficient photo sharing as well as sketches and other design ideas.

Making cross border collaboration easy

  • December 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There are a myriads of templates and tools at your disposal to create the best possible set up for a collaborative session. Whether you're looking to ideate for new product features, researching competitors, taking detailed notes from a customer interview or simply drafting some detailed work before it can be summarised in a slide deck, Miro is just great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Miro on macOS tends to be slower to open than the web version, so my recommendation would be to stick to web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is our collaboration space. I get to set up a board and share it prior to a workshop for pre work and setting expetation. While in the workshop all ideas get captured in one location and post workshop we get to summarise the findings. And the best part is that everyone can access the board at any time to view the information or add to it asyncronously. Having a tool with this much flexibiliy, has been a game changer for the projects I've been part of.

Adaptable powerhouse of a tool that is as user-friendly as it is visually-appealing

  • December 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Really flexible to fit the needs of many different types of projects that I may have. It is easy enough for those who have never used it to instantly understand the presentation, while supporting the ability to collaborate with others on my team. The integration with Jira and Slack makes it useful across teams to see project status at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to facilitate a brainstorm/board sharing is challenging with those who have basic accounts; many facilitation tools are reserved for those with an account and I have to familiarize myself with who has access to what, so the facilitation tools aren't as helpful as they can be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to get buy-in from lots of stakeholders around the organization--all in different departments with varying knowledge of tools, but many with very little time to onboard to the degree they 'get it' right away. Miro has allowed me to asynchronously document, organize, and seamlessly present my part of the project in a way that everyone from our Legal team to our Community teams can understand without needing to hold their hand each step of the way. This not only saves me a ton of time, it acts as a living catalog of how a project has changed over time for historical documentation.

Allows simultaneous review and markup of drawings and documents. easy sharing of any content and sketching that can be easily used live on a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large PDF files sometimes cause web browser to crash.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to collect notes on one document from multiple parties simataniously.

    Computer Software

Gets the job done well for our work brainstorming sessions

  • December 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The realtime collaboration and intuitive UI
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear where i can see 'Last Updated'. Is there even a way?

it should just be easily observable. It's good to know at a glance when the Miro Board was last updated (like done for Google Doc).

Also being able to view the history of changes would be helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
problem - need to colloraborate on a virtual platform
benefit - Miro offers a nice to use platform for this
