Miro for Ideating on Urban Planning Concepts at a Global Engineering Consultancy
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro allows me to communicate design and planning concepts with my global coworkers. We often have to think through iterations of a design concept and Miro allows us to upload drawings and mark them up, leave comments, and give live feedback. I can also upload images of what the "vision" is. This is much more collaborative compared to PowerPoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
My coworkers who are not designers have a hard time using the interface and often default to powerpoint to communicate ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes Miro can be a little glitchy due to how many people are interacting with it at once - most often this is means we are restarting the program. Miro has improved how many users can be on the board at once.
Good for brainstorming sessions, lots of interactive features to collaborate in real time
What do you like best about the product?
I like the most the facilitation tools like Timer and Voting. Miro is also great for mapping out big projects or putting things into tables. It's very flexible as well and lets you organize massive amounts of information in many different way, including tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a huge fan of the overall design of elements like sticky notes and the way font size and zoom work together. It's a little inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro give me the unlimited canvas to collaborate with other, facilitate workshops, and present research.
Miro is useful for creating architecture and product diagrams and flows, and team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro very intuitive even for completely new users, for example, Miro is very useful as an interview whiteboard, where the candidate might be unfamiliar with Miro but is able to quickly create diagrams and answer interview questions.
It's also very easy to use frames and turn your diagrams into images or slides. Collaborating together in Miro is also very convinient.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have difficulties with the pricing model of Miro for small companies. I would have probably started using a paid tier sooner if the pricing tier was more welcoming for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Miro in my previous company and introduced it to this one as well.
It's very easy use it for collaboration in teams. We use it for buildings diagrams and flows for our system archiecture, product flows, and brainstorming.
In the past I also found it very useful as a whiteboard for interviewing potential candidates.

It helps visualize complex business processes in IT projects, both during the assessment phase and when designing new processes, operations, and software (e.g., flowcharts, communication diagrams, mind maps, operational diagrams). We use it daily and continuously, with each client having a dedicated board.
Reliable Collaboration Hub with Clean UI
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for summarizing UX research, discussing ideas in scrum meetings, and collecting screenshots. I really like that it's a common place where all team members can collaborate. It's easy to use from many people at the same time, which is super helpful. I find it reliable as it works without major hiccups or crashing the browser. It has all the features we need, and the UI is clean and understandable.

easy and comprehensive implementation with newbies
What do you like best about the product?
easy to use and implement; most users find it convenient and even the basic version comes with a relevant set of features; that is why new people to the org use it more often than others;

A Fun Way to Run Workshops and Retrospectives
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is Fun! It is great for outlining processes and running workshops virtually and in-person. I like how easy it is to use and the interactivity components (reactions, post-its, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with an older audience, some of the features are over their head and they struggle to use it, but that is probably common amongst all online tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a fully remote agency and only see our clients once or twice a year. Miro helps us work together on brainstorms, workshops and complex projects across the country.
