I've so far had a great time using it, its perfect for "mind mapping"

What do you like best about the product?
The UI for the board building. The way you can simply create & add massive docs that at scale look like notes is super handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a thing where I simply added some people who I wanted to view the miro board & what happened is that they ended up adding there staff and working on some boards that were not for my company. That 100% should never happen & was a pain to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interactive mind map for project creation & scoping out new offers & Businesses

The best tool to compile research em colaboration

  • November 19, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I have a huge blank space where I can put everything and work as I want. Like in docs it isn't possible, so its nice to have a huge blank space that receives every information. Its excellent to organize ideas, research, visual prints, benchs, making it much easier to structure information and visualization. Also templates make the process even more practical and the collaborative nature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think its difficult to know or learn everything. Its complex and complete but also difficult. I often discover functionalities through my colleagues. I lacks clearer explanations or more integrated help center. Also I cant copy image from miro to figma and vice versa. And adds extra work as disrupts the workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Is helping me to solve the problem of fragmented information and disorganized by providing a black space, centralized, visual platform that I can put everything in it and collaborate online. Its make easier to consolidate research, organize ideas.

What do you like best about the product?
Useful for different purposes, you can brainstorm with colleagues, you can use it to create workshop boards and interactive laboratories. Super easy to use to map basically anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The size limit for uploading files could be higher. I use it to upload screenshots of website pages to get feedback from my colleagues and most times I have to provide multiple screenshots and attach them together losing the flow of the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to easily collaborate with my team

Intuitive for All, but Lacks Key Integrations

  • November 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how user-friendly Miro is, even for non-tech-savvy individuals, enabling all levels of stakeholders involved in a project to navigate the platform easily. This user-friendliness, coupled with its straightforward navigation, makes it a superb tool for conducting collaborative workshops, even with team members in different time zones. I find the pre-set templates particularly useful for designing client workshops, effectively mapping out data points, and consolidating user journeys into detailed user flows for UX. Additionally, the stickies feature is invaluable for effortlessly grouping similar responses, making the organization of ideas much more manageable. The timer feature is a great asset in workshops, ensuring everyone is aware of time constraints, which helps maintain focus and efficiency during collaborative sessions. These tools greatly enhance the quality and productivity of my workshops and research processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it problematic that Miro does not offer an option to custom color stickies. Additionally, I am frustrated with the lack of compatibility with Figma, which is a significant drawback for my work since I use both tools frequently. Another major issue is the difficulty in exporting a high-resolution image of a dense board, which is essential for presentations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to simplify crafting user journeys and conducting collaborative workshops, even with non-tech-savvy clients across time zones, thanks to its user-friendly templates, stickies, and easy navigation.

Miro gives you endless options to structure your thoughts in a well-designed image.

What do you like best about the product?
No template feels too rigid, but it can be optimised to one's needs. There is always a template for one's needs. I do appreciate the ease of customisation due to an intuitive user interface. Specific options are always at your fingertips. For example, cutting an image into a certain shape is very quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan feels limiting because it only gives you three boards to work on. As an individual (not a part of a team), I think more than that would be appropriate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows creating extensive mindmaps in a dynamic way. It's dynamic character adjusts nodes and vertices automatically. This way, I do not need to readjust them manually, which is a major benefit compared to other software. The open work space also enables unrestricted creativity especially when you do not know how your mindmap or whatever looks like.

Great boards for brainstorming

  • November 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive use. We use it both for quick spontaneous brainstorming and discussions as a visual aid.
Also has great features for bigger decisions where async discussion and preparation could be useful, like hiding sections of the board or making the post-its invisible until uncovered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it is hard to find the board that you created in quick brainstorming session couple of weeks ago, unless you gave it a good name.
Also, the connector arrows occasionally don't want to go straigt, no matter how hard you try to align the two endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to quickly iterate ideas where a proper wireframe would be too cumbersome to make.
