Miro helps pull all your thoughts together.

  • August 09, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use Miro to help build custom forms for our customers. Visually we can throw all of the pieces of the puzzle on the board and rearrange them to create a concise form our team can then build out. It is easy for the customers to visualize the end result when it's laid out in Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it is sometimes hard to navigate around the board using your mouse. The sliders on the side and bottom and using your mouse can sometimes be a little tricky. Not a deal breaker but a little frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating custom forms for our customers can be difficult for them to visualize and understand. Miro has helped me to cut down the amount of time we spend in the development of the forms and get them in to production faster.

What do you like best about the product?
It auto-suggests the arrows when you create flowcharts. It is easy to use.

It's capability to export as png,pdf formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major as of now. The template repository can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a customer success manager in SaaS company.

Miro helps me to collate large information from the customers to convert into clean and easy format through flowcharts.

Proposing optimized workflows to the customer is one of core job. Miro helps in presenting my ideas to the customer in a great way and mostly,I am able to convince the customer with our suggestions.

Great tool for remote collaboration

  • August 08, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has lots of use cases when collaborating remotely, such as, brainstorming, retrospectives, estimation sessions, planning, etc.
Really smooth learning curve, with ways to bring people who were wandering off somewhere else in the board.
The timer and vote count are very very useful, not requiring leaving the Miro board during those sessions.
The infinite (or seemingly) board size has a boost effect in creativity, no constraints for space to develop further and/or include dependencies.
Diagraming is so easy and straight forward, with easy to use arrows connecting shapes, that is now my go-to tool for it and then copying-pasting somewhere else.
What do you dislike about the product?
After a collaborative session, where some input was collected and/or some decisions made, participants can still modify the board. So it is necessary to use another tool for auditing, that is, recording who and what and when something was modified.
Using the right mouse button to drag (move) the area being shown takes some time to get used to.
Inserting texts in places ouside of post-its (such as shapes) has to be handle with care, because no graphical hint when the text is not shown completedly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working remotely with teammates and/or clients often requires collaboratively and visually brainstorm, decide among options, analyse root causes, retrospectives, etc. With Miro this is achieved wonderfully.

MIRO Collaboration

  • August 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using MIRO for collaboration during virtual events and workshops. I think it does a great job of providing useful tools that I can use with my audience real time to capture insights and arrive at central themes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there is opportunity to be had in the "workshop" space still. I think there is a lot of whiteboard capabilities but would love to see more tools that are focused around running workshops or live events for groups. It's close but some more features I think would help it be even better. Perhaps templates for Workshops could be a good innovation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us be a bit more organized in getting all the disparate thoughts down and connecting our team that is geodistributed and scattered.

Where I go to do everything

  • August 07, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to integrate everything that I need to integrate within my Miro boards. I can add notes, add powerpoints, and design it all so things are easy to find. Being able to zoom in and out allows me to quickly move from area to area. It works faster and is much more efficient than using something like Onenote. I feel like I'm just moving to the right all the time when I'm making notes or presentations in there. The collaboration and being able to follow team members is also very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints, but it is very difficult to export things from my miro board, specifically when it comes to sticky notes. I do a lot of interview synthesis and use the sticky notes to move around ideas and find reoccuring themes, but then I basically have to hand-copy them into a word document if I want them in some sort of other format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro for a broad spectrum of different things. First, I use it for note taking and building up documents and deliverables that I use in every aspect of my work for consultation. Next, it is where all of our team documents live. When we have meetings, we all go into the Miro board and it is where we gather our thoughts and ideas as a team. The collaboration aspect is incredible. Lastly, when we finally present to our customers, we build our presentation in Miro and share our board with them for them to interact with.

Miro for Teamwork and Mindmapping

  • August 06, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to use and helps teams work together. It has lots of templates and tools to help with creativity and productivity. It also has features that let you work with other apps. Miro's mind-mapping tools are strong, making it easy to visualise ideas and connections. Team members can contribute with real-time collaboration, enhancing group brainstorming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro offers lots of app integrations, but they can be complex and require technical knowledge. Also, some features may not work properly when apps are connected. The platform can also become slow when using very large multi-element boards in collaborative sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps you to see and manage the supply chain structure across different plants and worldwide teams. It lets you create maps and flowcharts of the whole supply chain, showing how everything is connected and where things go. Its collaborative features allow all stakeholders to contribute to decision-making processes efficiently, regardless of location.
