An Amazing Tool for Visualization and Collaboration

  • July 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best quality of Miro is how easy it is to use. It's designed so anyone can navigate and interact with it (it's a life saver in a company where not every team member is tech-savvy). Miro is great for turning complex projects into simple visuals that everyone can understand. Plus, sharing and signing in is not overly complicated, making collaboration & visibility easy.

Miro also integrates smoothly with the other tools we use, which makes our workflow more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the many features and templates in Miro can be a bit overwhelming. It can be tricky to find the exact tool or template you need. This can slow things down for new users, but with a little more training and experience, it gets easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro's been a lifesaver for a bunch of reasons:

Complex Project Visualization: It’s amazing how Miro breaks down complicated projects into simple visuals. This has been super helpful in making intricate workflows easier to grasp. I can show detailed processes and plans to other teams without any confusion, which is awesome.

Team Collaboration: Miro lets everyone work on the same board at the same time, no matter where they are. This real-time collaboration has really improved our communication and cut down on delays and misunderstandings. It's just way easier to get everyone on the same page.

Process Documentation and Automation: Miro is fantastic for creating visual documentation of our processes. This is crucial for the data team when we're building automation flows. The clear visuals make it so much easier for them to understand and take over, making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is definitely easy to use and comes in handy every time whenever we want to brainstorm with a larger audience. Features around cards, lists and votes are helpful and encourage everyone to participate and share thoughts in the group session.
What do you dislike about the product?
Export options and integrations could be enhanced, it can help in collating and structuring the final outputs of the brainstorming board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use it for brainstorming or mind mapping. Similarly, we use it while creating some opportunity solution trees in the discovery phase of product management. I'd say most of our use case is around brainstorming among larger audience to build a quarterly roadmap around a charter or larger product vertical.

Miro is a default tool for all my user research purposes

  • July 18, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a User Researcher, I use Miro as a default tool for many purposes - team brainstorms, structured thinking boards, problem solving, sharing interview insights, etc. I love a couple of functions like following the speaker, voting, timer, hidden view. It's really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don;t always find templates too helpful, I would like them to be more flexible and basic. My goal is not to grab someone's approach, but to adjust a very flexible structure to my approach. I also don't like how font size differs from sticker to sticker, depending on the text lentgh. For example, an OST template was moving unpredictably because of some built-in settings that I couldn't find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating collaborative environment for a product team
Improving research insights adoption by engaging presentations
Saving historical data, research artefcats for newcomers
