Perfect to for a modern era
What do you like best about the product?
Realtime collaboration with team members, is the closest that we can be to a face-to-face collaboration workshop. Is easy of use for new comers, you can manage any type of workload and the concept of infinite canvas really allign to the way of working on training/coaching sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
They can do better in terms of importing and transforming power point presentations in miro board presentations. Sadly current enterprise environment still use a lot power point, so working on an hybrid environment additional power tools would be beneficial. Also I dont like the performance when you have too many images in the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team retrospectives, replacing power point, training sessions, collaboration workshops
Miro is a great collaboration tool to bring people together online
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is easy to use and has all the general options to facilitate great online workshops! Being able to access all the templates from the community is a big plus! It makes your life as facilitator of remote teams way easier. I'm using Miro daily to help me accelerate my Team and our Product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The loading time of big miro boards is sometimes cumbersome. Also the way of locking/hiding items is not really intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As remote teams we need to work together efficiently and need to talk extensively throughout the day. Other collaborating softwares and whiteboards don't offer these ranges of possibilties Miro has.
Design Thinking online from Academy to Profession
What do you like best about the product?
Miro's real-time collaboration capabilities make it ideal for remote design and academic teams. It's vast template selection and infinite canvas promote expansive thinking for brainstorming and design. Miro integrates seamlessly with tools like Slack, Trello, and Dropbox, with customizable widgets for capturing and organizing ideas. Finally, Miro's presentation mode and feedback mechanisms ensure a holistic approach from ideation to presentation for both designers and academicians.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an Architect, coming from a design background, I still seek more design features to be implemented inside of Miro, basic ones like smart selection or color settings for images, or clone capability like in Photoshop so that I can use it frequently and in one place so that any project I am implementing no matter how complex it is, I don't need to use various software for it but I can get all the support I need inside of 1 space and that is Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main purpose of usage as an Agile coach is for collaboration and product management perspectives. Miro supports me in solving challenges like asynchronous work in complex environments between different participants from different countries and different time zones. This is a huge benefit. In addition, as a Product management, customer centricity and design thinking tools are everything for us!! Hence, creating personas, elaborating on CJM (Customer Journey Maps), etc. is essential and a big benefit to be used by Miro whether via templates or the flexibility to design it from 0.
Great tool to collaborate within Hybrid teams
What do you like best about the product?
The visualization of Miro really supports Hybrid team collaboration. It assures that people not sitting in the room are looking at the same data. having the input from the team directly visible greatly improves discussion about the topics on hand. Using the desktop version, you have an easy way through the different tabs to see all your meetings you have frequent, every day in one tool. It’s quite easy to use.
The basics can be learned quite easily, with new members it takes about 10 min to learn this. Another thing to note, you can have many projects and for each project you can determine the user access, this works great in keeping information separated and allow the right access control. There are some good templates in Miro, Although I use them mostly as high-level inspiration and adapt them extensively. Used customer support a few times and they are quick and thorough in their response.

What do you dislike about the product?
Maintaining and setting up boards, takes time. To fully understand all features you will spend some time learning these, the interface can be a bit confusing sometimes in the beginning and you will refer to the help function quite a bit. Another thing is that Miro evolves, you need to keep up. Integration is great and difficult sometimes, there are many integrations offered, unfortunate it can be a hit or miss if they can work within your Company IT environment. Application is itself easy, fully web based. Not that having different board owners, will require training and setting some standards to the ones that will maintain/develop these boards, as there are so many way in setting up content.

Having Hybrid teams that can work in a simple way to visualize information. The tool has become the main collaboration tool for working with these teams globally

What do you dislike about the product?
Getting started with MIRO is relatively straightforward, but there's a learning curve when it comes to leveraging its full potential. Onboarding and setup are generally smooth, thanks to their helpful tutorials and ample documentation. However, mastering the more advanced features might take some time and experimentation.
MIRO is packed with features that cater to a wide range of use cases. The extensive collection of widgets, integrations, and templates is commendable. However, it's important to note that some advanced features might feel overwhelming for users who are new to the platform. Streamlining and simplifying certain aspects could make MIRO even more user-friendly.
What I do not like (su much):
-The learning curve for mastering advanced features.
-Some integrations could be more user-friendly.
-The platform can be a bit resource-intensive, causing lag on older devices.
-The pricing may be steep for smaller teams or individual users.

Helps to visualise ideas and collaborative brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to put ideas down and visualise them like you would on a whiteboard, is a huge benefit of miro. My team are all overseas so it enables us to work together on brainstorms, planning, etc. virtuality without the need for being in the room together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tend to get tripped up on the scale sometimes in Miro. I start doing something and then realise I am at 1%, not 100% and have to try and resize everything accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a visualisation tool that we use to brainstorm and loosely plan ideas. We then move everything into our project management tool, ClickUp.
Streamlining Agile Collaboration with a Strong Community and Versatile Templates
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is user-friendly, quick to set up, and integrates well with our existing tools, making it a part of our daily routine. What really stands out is the supportive community and the wealth of templates provided by Miro, which enhance our collaborative efforts and streamline our planning processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
While joining and saving external boards initially seemed challenging, marking them with a 'Star' has been a useful workaround for easier navigation later. Despite this, the process could be more intuitive. Furthermore, Miro's design capabilities could be enhanced with more advanced typography and design features to help boards stand out more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has been instrumental in addressing specific business challenges like understanding the interplay between strategy and executed work. My most recent board helped to visually break down these complex relationships, making it easier to communicate these concepts to others. When it comes to such visualizations, Miro is my go-to tool, which simplifies the tool selection process for me.
