Miro Intro
What do you like best about the product?
I have been introduced to Miro through a school I am attending to become a Product Owner. I believe Miro is pretty useful and a combination of PowerPoint and Canva. You can display a lot of information and it has worked to show coursework over a few weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed when mulitple people are in Miro, if you are not careful, then it is easy to manipulate the board - even when items are locked. Also, for anyone Type A when others touch the board, there won't be a sense of cohesion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping students collaborate throughout their classes!
Great for teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
We use Miro to brainstorm, plan, share resources, and project management. The sticky notes work very well and they are my favorite feature. The AI tool to categorize them is particularly cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
One hickup with Micro is only one person can be editing one element at a time, so it is not a great place to work on text together with other people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One problem it helps us solve is a way to keep track of things to refer back to. The challenge is that when doing traditional whiteboarding, there isn't a great archive option besides a photo which can often be hard to read, etc.
Excellent platform for professional planning, though there is room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an excellent platform for professional planning and sharing of artwork and project schedules. We use it daily in our development studio. It significantly simplifies and enhances communication among our team members, ensuring that everyone stays on the same page and can collaborate effectively. The intuitive interface and robust set of tools allow us to brainstorm, plan, and track our projects seamlessly. Whether it's for initial brainstorming sessions or detailed project tracking, Miro has become an indispensable part of our workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of the platform primarily involves its performance, which often tends to be slow on older-generation computers and Macs. This can be particularly frustrating during collaborative sessions or when working with large, complex boards. The lag can hinder productivity and disrupt the flow of work, making it challenging for team members with older hardware to keep up with the pace of their colleagues. Despite this, the benefits of Miro's features and capabilities still make it a valuable tool, though there is room for improvement in optimizing performance for all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned earlier, Miro significantly enhances communication between various internal teams, particularly in the art/3D and communication departments. Its intuitive interface and collaborative tools make it easier for team members to share ideas, provide feedback, and stay aligned on project goals. Additionally, Miro plays a crucial role for those working remotely. Its ability to facilitate real-time collaboration and maintain a central hub for project-related materials ensures that remote employees remain connected and productive, no matter where they are located.
Very plaisant and smooth experience
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing dashboards, and duplicate, integration with gamma app, ease of use
What do you dislike about the product?
team sharing require an additional licence, not very easy to make a smaller dashboard inside a bigger one
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I setup an action plan or when I setup a marketing / sales strategy for a client I like to make it visual using Miro
Best for brainstorming and idea dumping
What do you like best about the product?
the feature to just jot down ur ideas and go through it as you progress in ur project . Whether it be a picture or a youtube video , it got everything .
What do you dislike about the product?
The features are pretty much hidden behind which are difficult to find as one has to guess where they might be
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to collaborate with people in my team who all are working on a single project and share ideas
Flexible, fast and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a visual and spacial thinker. As a founder, I have lots of information coming at me and often need to organise it. Whether it's product related, marketing, tech, planning, legal or fundraising, Miro gives me the flexibility to throw ideas down and visually organise them.
What do you dislike about the product?
File management is poor and wish it had more of a organisational structure like notion to categorise different boards. I use stickies quite a lot but feel like text formatting is really poor and often when adding a fair bit of text it is really difficult to see because it's too small.
I also wish it was easier to organise content (perhaps automatically with AI) spatially.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because I will also use it for product reviews and user interviews it's a really intuitive to platform for anyone to use even if they haven't come across Miro before.
Extremly useful to visualise the navigation of new websites
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very intuitive to work with and really helps when trying to visualise complex systems, website navigations, processes etc. I use it at my workplace all the time. It's easy to export visualisations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty hard to use on a Laptop with just a touch pad. Other than that, I don't see downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am restructuring a website, changing the navigation and information architechture. I use Miro to visualise the new pathways users will be taken to when clicking on particular services. It also helps me organise my thoughts and myke the structure as logical as possible.
Very useful tool - wouldn‘t want to be without
What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy, intuitive and fun to use tool with a very user-friendly UI and good vibes
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously, it is not for free, and just like with all SaaS-services, you need to be be careful with the monetization system:
- don't forget to check from time to time whether you still need all the users
- be careful who you invite ad a guest (free) or team member (paid)
