One of the best virtual boards out there

  • September 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro definitely increased our productivity, it replaced physical boards on the office walls ever since remote work became the norm. It's a very complete product and it also has a big community around it, so it's easy to find templates. It also feels faster/smoother to use compatred to most other online virtual boards. Lastly I've yet to encounter any bug or error while using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can sometimes be performance issues if there's too many elements on your boards or when there's a lot of people working on the board simultaneously. There is a bit of a learning curve as some features can be hard to find and/or aren't always very intuitive. Would like to see more UX/UI features and or templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a central location to document and vizualize the current feature or product we're working on. Everyone can add comments and make changes, so the product is constantly being improved upon. It's an always up to date "source of truth" for the whole team and greatly improves our productivity and ability to quickly iterate.

Great for workshops, UX, collaboration tool

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to use, initially, it gives you an onboarding that allows everyone to be up to speed with the features, the templates are also a bonus as you pretty much will find a template for what you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Miro is not really related with the tool itself but with the competitors and pricing, I mean, there are similar tools out there offering pretty much the same features, and you can get other similar software for the price of one, however,I've noticed that Miro is upgrading some of its features with AI, so we'll see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're basically replacing the old whiteboards with Miro, and we're also using it for wireframing instead of Figma, cause it takes you down the pressure to do something in high-fidelity, in a shorter amount of time.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is great for collaborating and engaging with different stakeholders in a creative way. For someone like me who isn't all so creative, MIro helps me explore that creative side of me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything that I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has helped me plan for strategy development in my job, engage with stakeholders in a fun and creative way and map out my team's work activities for a particular project.

Miro is an efficient workspace for collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
We had a flawless experience when starting off with Miro. There are a lot of templates that helped us learn and understand how the platform works. Also, the user interface was straightforward and very intuitive and therefore we did not struggle to navigate through it. It was possible for us to integrate and use Miro alongside other products that were already existing in our working infrastructure like Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Confluence and others. This meant that we didn't have to change our way of working. Miro has enormous number of diagramming tools like shapes which made it easy for us to create accurate virtual visualizations of our business operations in form of charts. With these charts, it is easy to follow up on the progress of each and every task. Collaboration when performing our tasks is always made easy by Miro excellent communication tools like meetings andive reactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its hard to find anything to complain about Miro. This amazing tool has been at the top performance and it gives the most satisfying services. All i have is appreciations to what it has done. The features are very simple to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro gives us a excellent workspace for us to collaborate and manage our work. We use it to visualize our activities by creating diagrammatic representations of them in form of flowcharts so as it can be easy to understand their progress. Miro has helped us institute the spirit of team work by giving us a shared workspace for us to come together and collaborate on our duties as a team.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, enough space to navigate and create multiple screens on the same board
What do you dislike about the product?
No Grammar app integration. I'm also missing tables and rotation of shapes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful in creating the wireframes and sketches I need for my app. It's also helpful in brainstorming when we need a few team members to look at ideas together

What do you like best about the product?
A good tool for teaching. As a TA, for a lot of my online officer hours, I use Miro to teach the students clear concepts. They have great annotation features, interactive learning, and integration with Canvas LMS that makes learning engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I have encountered any so far. I have been an avid user, and Miro has always satisfied me. Even so, that there is customer service team too is great and so quick with helping the customer out!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual learning for online courses/classes is made easy and interactive. One can also save the miro board, and use it for reference later- the best part about this platform!

A versatile tool to be creative and productive

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a collborative tool that brings your in-office whiteboard dreams to life in the digital realm. Whatever you're doing with sticky notes and dry erase boards, you can do with Miro x 1000.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much we would change with Miro. A minor UX detail is we wish there were more font choices when using the sticky notes feature. Other than that, it's 10/10!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been using miro to mind map projects, draft diagrams for clients to see detailed flows for everything from a user's landing page experience to a detailed flow of an affiliate marketing program.

Good project management program - especially for beginners

  • August 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use - I like that there are more many advanced features that you have to know select shortcuts or training. If you can set up powerpoint slides - MIRO is close to this
What do you dislike about the product?
This program has a lot of templates for just about anything you need - however, I have had to go back to very simple templates because most of my needs are constructive for individual projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro gives a place for myself and my team to organize our projects - I then have a place to review projects from my team and be able to edit for them in one place.

Miro use for Brainstorming

  • August 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is very easy to navigate and use. They have great template which you are able to use for free, which really allows you to get of the ground running. If you have a small team or a large team you can use miro to complete Idea brainstomring, carry out meeting to get feedback or discuss idea's with stakeholder plus much more. Since introducing it to the business all our employees have found it a very easy and useful tool to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only downside to Miro is that to my knowledge you are unable to have miro send out notifcations to members whic are in the board. If you could get an asignee & a end date to an idea and then have a notifcation for a reminder or an update, this would make Miro an amzing tool for any environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is bringing my team to the current times, which is using fun and interactive technology to improve efficency within the working day. Due to its flexbily we have been able to use Miro across all dfferent areas of the buisness.

Practicality and Simplicity

  • August 29, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact we can share what we are creating, it's very simple to brainstorm, create different graphics, and add images. We can create a lot of different designs for many types of projects and problematics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's not very obvious or natural for me to define when and how I am using the click to move into the Miro board or to click, zoom in, or zoom out. I need to click to know what my mouse is doing AND AFTER if it's not what I want to do I must change the view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The board is like unlimited so I can create a story. One chapter after one chapter. When I'm brainstorming with a big team, it's simple to create pages to show, explain, and tell a story. I can do what I currently do on PowerPoint (except animation).
Avoid a waste of time because all information is shown in one place.
I see all modifications done by my collaborators live.
