Amazing

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use when doing meetings online. Nowadays we don't use the whiteboard in the office, but Miro even on site events. I would say that's the main goal of Miro, having tracability of meetings even if they're on site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be tricky to edit stuff on the board, but overall is user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being at home and having video calls with partners in the company

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very diverse and in a way intuitive to use. The features are direct and help in building visual ideas. From working in IT consultancies, is a tool that helps for us to build flows, customer journeys, new project enhancements, all with easy communication, understanding and effortless team work.
Is highly collaborative. From my experience we used the platform in PI Plannings with over 50 participants and we had great engagement and no issues with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have difficulties when trying to share the boards with my colleagues. I wished their profiles would be displayed automatically in the list view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a tool that is easy to share, independent of the amount of collaboration/people you want on it.
Being able to build visual flows and work on the same time with your team mates facilitates process engagement and understanding.

Best collaboration tool available

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love all that Miro has to offer. It makes virtual meetings seamless. The Miroverse has every single template that one could seek. I use Miro when I am teaching certification courses as it allows me to map out my presentation, including slides and interactive modules. The integrations and updates continue to grow to enhance the platform. I cannot think of any other tool that has the flexibility that Miro provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Miro is incredible, and they keep improving it in ways I didn't even know I wanted, but once I see updates, I can't imagine not having them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of "How do I put onto paper what I am thinking?" I am able to more clearly outline problems and solutions by digging in deeper through all of the tools Miro provides. For example, I can use a fishbone diagram or a Design Thinking template. I can truly find a multitude of ways to capture processes and share for stakeholder reviews, or keep it as an internal whiteboarding tool.

Presentations made interactive

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
At my job, we use Miro to make our presentations more interactive. After creating presentations within various software, we upload to Miro and add sticky notes to each slide in the deck. These sticky notes allow live notetaking during meetings. While recently implemented, we have it for at least five presentations over the last few weeks. It is very easy to use and the customer support is very willing to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do believe there is a bit of a learning curve but once you learn it, it is an amazing tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making presentations more appealing and interactive especially since we work for a remote company.

An amazing visual collaboration tool for both short and long duration projects

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro has a pretty intuitive interface to get started with their templates and frames. I've been using it for a little more than two years, with at least once-a-month consultations, and most of the time, I didn't need to seek tutorials, tips, or anything of the sort to more or less create what I envisioned as a visual aid to get my points across. The simplicity of adding more objects to a flowchart, or inserting intervals, text boxes, and other visual elements makes it pretty satisfying to create excellent-looking boards for presentations, and training materials or even to embed them on Confluence/JIRA. Normally, we have utilized Miro boards during Zoom calls, video conferences, and inside Confluence pages without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can have a pretty deep learning curve after the first experimentations with some of the extra tools provided. Exporting boards to offline documents or formats also tends to take a very long time, and sometimes the resolution of large boards can get pretty bad, almost to the point of being unreadable. As a direct-use tool, Miro is fantastic, but if you want to bring it outside of its boundaries, you can run into some problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation of flowcharts, workflows, and visual aids for holistic approaches. We frequently use them to summarize the content of our training materials and overall project/product/process documentation into a more dynamic and visual model, so that the involved parties can better understand their placement in the overall big picture of the company.

Great Collab Platform - User Friendly

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its a really great way to collaborate and is an easy platform for someone to learn quickly when new. I'm working on my first project in Miro and it only took a short time to pick it up. I could see this program replacing PowerPoint that myself (Tangram Interiors) uses for creating furniture presentation decks. I love that you can link website to image, tag people in comments/questions and probably my favorite capability is removing the background of images.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to import high resolution images (I hit some road blocks trying to do this). Also, when I recieve an email notification it would be best if it took me to exactly where the comment when I click to go there because after the project became robust it was difficult to locate where all the new comments were in the sea of boards. Are these capabilities you get if you upgrade your account, or is this my error and misunderstanding. Would love to know more about what you get if you upgraded so I can share with my team. As I mentioned, I could see us switching to this platform if it makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all the details in one place to be able to collaborate efficiently - furniture images, finishes, dimensions, comments, etc.

  • July 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Lots of templates for creating diagrams. Options to share and collaborate with team members. Very easy to created various types of diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have some initial learning curve. Sometimes we put multiple diagrams on a board and page boundaries are not clearly visible, so make little complicated to manged diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mostly creating software desing diagrams, flow charts, sequence diagrams using MIRO.
We can create such diagrams with ease. It comes up with lot of templates which provides us some reference when we create any new type of diagram. Sharing and collaboration is excellent in miro.
