Miro - the top whiteboard app on the market

  • August 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've tried many different platforms that serve as a collaborative whiteboard for teams. Mural, miro, Lucid, etc. I find Miro is the most user friendly, the best optional features, and the easiest to work simultaneously on. Working with multiple people on one document at the same time, the other platforms can be pretty maddening. Mural is the best and will be my preferred platform for quite some time. I love being able to create templates, share them with my team, and use other templates that are relevant to my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
When connecting different working areas, sometimes the lines built between objects aren't straight or connected in a way that a normal user would want. Outside of this minor inconvencience, Miro doesn't have the headaches that other platforms do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often use Miro to create flows, conduct Agile ceremonies, whiteboard, and just a place to put thoughts and notes down. I often maintain a few Miro boards and regularly update them.

Process Mapping Made Fun and Easy

  • August 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is such an innovative software. When I began my new role in business management it helped me out a lot with learning how to process map new and existing ideas. I really enjoy that there are several different ways to accomplish one goal within the functions. I also like that it's compatible with other tools that I frequently use, and allows you the ability to link your Miro boards to those other resourses. My favorite thing about Miro however is how astectially pleasing the boards can be!
What do you dislike about the product?
The reason for my 9/10 review would be that it can be a little challenging to zoom in and out, or to move around in general on the boards. I think this part took me the longest to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a very visual learner, so Miro is a great place for me to get my ideas down and to be able to share them with others. It's also been helpful to be able to present my boards in meetings, and to make necessary edits in real time.

Miro helps us to brainstorm our product features on the flight

  • August 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Our product and UX teams are distributed across two hemispheres and three time zones, hence Miri is our tool of choice for prototyping as it helps us to collaborate all together collectively in real-time. Our use cases include visualization of complex data sets, creation and mapping of customer journeys, and prioritization of product features. It definitely speeds up the research process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform occasionally lags with large board . It takes sometimes too much browser memory.l which can result in a crash. Also I find sometimes confusing the scale of the board, when copying one item from one brother to other, the size of items is not getting reconverted, resulting sometimes on items being particularly small or too big in the board to which they have been carried over, requiring multiple readjustments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides us with a visual framework for mapping out user stories, roadmaps, and workflows. It also offers a centralized space for all research data and project documents, that is helping us to communicate better the requirements across the teams.

Collaborative boards to share ideas with your work groups.

  • August 24, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In Miro, you can develop very attractive group ideas, I have to highlight the board where it offers multiple options for the development of mind maps, flowcharts, line creator, idea structures and many other collaborative tools that can be worked together with other teams in the company. Retrospectives and the process of creating maps can be recorded and shared with other colleagues, it is only necessary to have an active microphone and an integrated camera in the device we are using, very useful for meetings or presentations over long distances. In Miro, we can also manage boards for work teams with many customization options, multiple templates. The program is visually beautiful, very colorful, well-defined and specific about the tools involved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro offers several versions for mobile devices, but I am not comfortable with the Android version is poorly understood and needs to be adjusted, I prefer the macOS or iOS app. The import of contacts for invitation from Slack needs to be improved. The integration with Adobe for design needs to be polished and worked on, and the optimization with Zylo for administration is not the best. Miro offers academies and seminars, but the explanations are not very intuitive, it seems that they are only interested in selling the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software provides many utilities in the area of research and design, it is possible to collaborate with the work team using the software tools, it is possible to work statistics with concept maps and visualize the information you want to work with the group from the mind maps provided by the platform, it is very collaborative in fact we can guide in the process of using other teammates who are starting in the program, which gives the possibility to work together on design projects and web development. Currently, Miro also works for us a knowledge solution using the workshops and meetings provided by the software.
