Miro Makes Real-Time Collaboration and Visual Brainstorming Effortless

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is most helpful for real time collaboration and visual brainstorming. It allows teams to work together on digital whiteboards, create mind maps, workflows, wireframes, and project plans in one shared space. The biggest upsides are its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, readt-made templates, and seamless integration with tools like Slack, Jira and Google Drive. It improves communication, speeds up decision making, and keeps remote or hybrid teams aligned and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can feel overwhelming for new users because of its many features. Large boards may lag or load slowly, especially with weaker internet. The free plan is limited, and paid plans can be costly for small teams. It also requires good organization, or boards can quickly become cluttered and hard to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of disconnected brainstorming and messy communication in teams. It gives everyone a shared visual space to map ideas, plan projects and organize work together in real time - even when people are remote.
For me, this boosts clarity and alignment, reduces miscommunication , and soeeds up decision making because everyone can see , comment, and contribute on the same board at the same time.

Miro Makes User Flows Clearer and Boosts Dev–Product Collaboration

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Miro’s clear visualization of user flows and test scenarios, I can spot gaps and edge cases much earlier. It also improves collaboration between the development and product teams, helping ensure more robust test coverage and clearer, better-aligned requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
When boards get large, they can quickly become cluttered and hard to navigate, making it challenging to keep track of specific requirements or test cases. QA teams still need separate tools to manage test execution and defect tracking efficiently, since it also lacks integrated test management and traceability features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of unclear requirements and fragmented communication by providing a shared visual space for mapping user flows, edge cases, and test scenarios. This benefits me by improving requirement clarity, reducing misunderstandings, and helping ensure better test coverage early in the development cycle. Helps in understanding the flows created for product journey.

Boosts Creativity with Seamless Collaboration

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Miro takes random ideas and turns them into a structured board easily. The drag and drop interface makes everything quick and smooth, especially during meetings, because I can quickly move elements around and reorganize ideas as the discussion evolves. I appreciate the sticky notes feature for brainstorming sessions. The templates are super helpful for flowcharts, process maps, and planning boards, saving a lot of time instead of creating everything from scratch. I also love that multiple people can collaborate in real-time during discussions, making meetings more productive. The infinite canvas is another feature I enjoy because it means I'm never restricted while mapping out complex workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is performance when the board becomes large. If there are too many elements and collaborators, it can sometimes feel a bit slow or overwhelming to navigate. Also, while there are many features available, it can feel slightly cluttered for new users. It takes time to explore and understand all the tools properly. A more simplified view or a more guided onboarding could help beginners to get comfortable faster. Sometimes organizing very detailed boards also requires extra effort to keep things structured, especially when multiple people are editing at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize scattered thoughts and unstructured discussions. It helps in visually mapping processes, making complex concepts easier to understand. Collaborating online in real-time keeps discussions clear, turning random ideas into structured workflows efficiently.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to track our email and SMS journeys, and I enjoy being able to share and explain our flows with other teams. I like how easy it is to work with others and how it makes everything look organized. Miro helps us all visually but also technically see how everything is set up and works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Understanding how to get started was a bit hard. It was hard for me to figure out how to link and edit things that already existed; I had to have someone show me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to track email and SMS journeys, enjoying the ability to share and explain our flows with other teams easily. It helps us visually and technically see how everything is set up and works, making collaboration and organization straightforward.

Visual Collaboration and Task Management Powerhouse

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro's infinite canvas and real-time collaboration features—they make brainstorming and task visualization feel effortless and fun. I appreciate how they mimic a physical whiteboard but without limits, making complex ideas easier to explore and share instantly. The initial setup is straightforward and quick, often taking under 30 minutes to get started with boards and invites. These aspects make Miro a solid choice, and I'd rate it a 9/10 for recommendation due to its visual power and collaborative capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan caps at 3 active boards, advanced features require paid tiers, and it gets pricey for bigger teams. Miro's per-user pricing escalates quickly for larger teams, forcing tough choices on features and access that can disrupt workflows. There are minor lags on big boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps solve task management problems like disorganization, poor visibility, and collaboration delays by turning abstract lists into visual, interactive boards.

A Vital Tool for Visualizing Complex Processes

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how intuitive and flexible Miro is. The infinite canvas makes mapping out complex EDI workflows easy without feeling restricted. The drag-and-drop interface is time-saving, and I appreciate the real-time collaboration features as they make discussions more productive by allowing instant viewing of comments and edits. Overall, it makes explaining technical processes much clearer and more interactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is performance when boards become very large or detailed. With complex EDI flows and multiple integrations on a single board, it can sometimes feel a bit slow or cluttered. Organizing and maintaining structure also requires some discipline, otherwise boards can get messy over time. Additionally, some useful features being limited to paid plans can be a drawback for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to bridge communication gaps between technical and business teams. It helps me visually map out complex EDI processes, streamline requirement discussions, and troubleshoot issues efficiently, minimizing misunderstandings and back-and-forth communication.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Miro for its clear and intuitive user interface, which makes navigating the platform easy. The powerful AI-assisted tools and features like collaborating with colleagues simultaneously are really beneficial for my work. I also find the Sidekick function helpful. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and creating teams was easy since some of my colleagues were already using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the modules and flows can be buggy, and the information linked doesn't update automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for mind mapping, project tracking, and structuring. It helps with collaborating with colleagues simultaneously with its AI-powered modules and Sidekick function.

Where lesson flow meets real-time collaboration

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's visual collaboration tools make it easy to explain complex ideas in an interactive way. As an online teacher working with non-native English speakers, the whiteboard features, sticky notes, diagrams, and templates help breakdown concepts clearly. Real time collaboration keeps students engaged and allows lessons to feel more dynamic than static slides. The infinite canvas and frammes let me structure a full lesson flow(warm-up - vocabulary - practrice -speaking ) so students can clearly follow the sequence. I also like being able to export boards to pdf for lesson reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can feel heavy when boards get large. when I build full lessons boards with multiple frames, images, and lots of sticky notes, performance can slow down - especially for students on weaker devices or unstable internet. This sometimes affects real-time collaboration (dragging notes, zooming, or moving between frames). The interface is powerful but can be overwhelming for first time users. students occationally misclick, zoom too far out, or move objects accidentally, which can disrupt the flow of the lesson unless I lock elements and set clear 'working area'. Also some of the more useful controls (advanced permissions, better organization , and certain export options) are tied to paid plans, which can limit flexibilty depending on the account level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Miro solves for me is repeat work. i can build lesson boards once, reuse them acros classes, and adjust them quickly for different student levels. that saves me times, keeps my lessons consistent, and makes follow-up easier because i can export or share the board after class.

Efficient Collaboration Amidst Chaos

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for Affinity Mapping, Brainstorming, and dumping thoughts to pursue innovation. It helps me collaborate with my team efficiently by helping us organize amidst chaos. I really like the way Post-its and Wall features bring order to chaos, and I use them in every use case possible. Sometimes it's just scribbling, and other times it's about analyzing the data set by cleaning out noise. Plus, it becomes very easy to collaborate. The initial setup of Miro was very easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all frameworks are available for UX Research work. For example, what if I want to see the data + qual insight together? What if I simply want to visualize the word map.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me collaborate with my team efficiently, organizing our ideas amidst chaos, especially for affinity mapping, brainstorming, and innovation. It becomes very easy to collaborate, even when just scribbling or analyzing data by cleaning out noise.

Enhances Visualization, Needs Improved Layering

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the new prototyping tools and wireframing features in Miro. I really appreciate that Miro constantly develops and introduces new elements like voting and picking features, which meet my expectations. It's also helpful for improving my workflow, allowing me to collaborate easily with people who may not naturally visualize ideas. The tools are easy to use and allow everyone to contribute, even without specialized knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find stacking elements in Miro problematic. When I want to group things and move them backwards or forwards, it doesn't work quite well. It feels like this feature could be improved. Also, with wireframing or creating a simple line and putting elements inside, the line tries to collide or snap to everything, which is frustrating. It can definitely be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to visualize my ideas, create wireframes and prototypes, and align the team early in projects. It helps me improve my workflow by making visual collaboration easy for everyone, even those less visually inclined.
