A way to getting started

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, 'infinite' canvas, collorative in nature
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing major here. I would just say to focus on what made the tool great and not try to be everything to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to align. It augments chatting in meeting and encourages us to put things down.
Post it notes, in general, are easy to use, inviting, and low-expectation, which makes it easier for anyone to participate.
Miro artifacts are fluid, which makes it easy to change on the fly.

Miro Review

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is an operational and sales readiness tool. It is easy to use and allows cross-functional teams to collaborate quickly and efficiently. I use this tool to project manage through multi-quarter initiatives and receive real-time feedback from C-Suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful for Miro to integrate with microsoft, so we could link the content on a Miro board to a powerpoint or word document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows cross-functional consultants to view real-time project updates and collaborate efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to update and edit your diagrams without having to totally start over from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always super simple to find the function that you want, because it just has so many.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Comprehensive and intuitive diagramming that makes it easy to share logic flows with your team.

Easy and useful, I use it in every project

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility and ease with which I can choose different types of stickers, color labeling, types of connection arrows, I find it really easy to use. Also the function of leaving comments on a board shared with co-workers, and allowing them to respond directly to me on the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
At least until the last time I used it in a shared project, it was necessary for everyone to have a Miró account to be able to use it. This is discouraging when I invite external collaborators to my organization, because it forces them to create an account and creates difficulties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Make digital and online concept maps, which allow me to collaborate simultaneously with other coworkers.

Amazing collaborative tool for brainstorming, presentations or simply teamwork

What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely simple to use and allows larger teams to collaborate remotely. We use it all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once something is set up, like a complex task system or a timeline, changes to it can be fiddly and time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work remote most of the time and have many fully remote people around the globe. Sharing ideas and working collabortively on a project has been a challenge and Miro has solved this almost entirely for us.

Miro - The best way to handle a presentation

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a powerful tool to map, consolidate, track, and present information. It's simple to use, easy to teach, and super collaborative. Besides that, it's implementation to the team is a smooth as possible compared to other systems. Miro takes minutes to adapt the team and make it work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having the option to work on boards offline and not having a mobile app are the upsides compared to other tools in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OKR definitions went from a nightmare to a marvelous afternoon after we set Miro as the tool for brainstorming and Collaboration.
It also helps our leadership members to keep track of their deliverables and roadblocks from their teams, reducing the number of calls significantly.
Last but not least, it works as a Source of Truth to many of our process mapping structures and as the primary tool to design a process from scratch. (Our new financial tool stack literally started from a brainstorming where our CEO & our head of finance were waiting in 2 different airports and decided to take advantage of the time and brainstorm together what could be better)

Flexible collaboration in boundless canvases

  • June 11, 2024

What do you like best about the product?
I likee the fast loading speed of the app. I use it daily for my job, and collaboration with my worldwide team is seamless. I like that it has many features that make creading and organizing information easy, and it's the quickest app I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes want to access my boards offline, but have to wait to get internet connection to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a product coordinator/manager with a global team, I hadn't found the perfect way to create my PRDs and share them with my team. With Miro, I found the best way to use several features and diagraming in order to explain full product requirements, create product flows, and calendarize our tasks with Jira.

A design thinker's favorite tool

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Working across devices synchronously with intuitive controls for any hardware.
Staying stable and performing well as the number of objects on a board balloons.
Having a dedicated app, but not pressuring users to open things with the app instead. (excuse you, Reddit >.>)
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, guests struggle to get into boards they're invited to view. I think the way they're onboarded makes it confusing as to whether you require an account or not (you don't, but it tries to get you to create an account)
It is not easy to translate board content between languages! You'd have to copy/paste individually as far as I can tell. I would love more seamless in-app translation for my global team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm designing an indie video game. Miro is my second brain, and beyond that, it helps me communicate everything with the rest of the team. If it stopped there it would just be a great notetaking and presentation tool. But it's collaborative, so it's also my team's second brain, and we can quickly reach consensus with this. "Virtual whiteboard" expresses most of the function and it does what you want very well.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to store quickly all information on a spot and use the same tool to generate presentation.
It is a great way to do online workshops to brainstorm on many topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mindmap is sometime difficult to handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy and quick to format things in Niro, it saves me a lot of time on finding information.

Great, easy to use platform for collaboration

  • June 11, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely rare that one software is universally liked across a company and Miro is one of them. It is our go to place for collaboration and it is almost effortless, making it really easy to move projects forward. The options and capabilities are almost limitless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of any downsides. Occasionally, they change features in way that we wouldn't have but it's always minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the one place that most of the project information is easily accessible and getting input from everyone on the team is so simple.
